Totally random question:
I've heard that there's a part in Act 1 in which Fenris says he's never had sex (or can't remember having sex.) When/where does this happen? What does Fenris say? If there's a YouTube video of it, can someone link it?
Thanks.
I'm pretty sure that that only happens during ACT2, when you flirt with him heavily after the 50% friendship/rivalry mark. I don't have a link to a youtube vid, sorry.
Ok, Act II. Does anyone remember the basic dialogue Fenris says?
Thanks
he doesn't say he never had sex... Here's what he does say...
Are you saying what I think you're saying?
Fenris: If there was someone before, I have no memory of it.
Hawke: There was no one after you escaped, even?
Fenris: I stayed nowhere for long. Who would I trust?
Fenris: I didn't think I needed anyone. Or wanted anyone. Until now.
He also says this (I'm copying from the talktable, so sorry about order)
Fenris: I... have never allowed anyone too close.
Fenris: When my markings were created, the pain was... extraordinary. And the memory lingers.
Fenris: But you are unlike any woman I have ever met. With you it might be different.
Hawke: We could find out.
Fenris: On another evening, perhaps.
So a couple of things strike me about this. There's no real indication he's talking about sex per se -- he could just be talking about intimacy (which is very different). Plus, there's no mention of what happened to him while he was a slave.
This conversation is happening when it's obvious feelings are growing between them. So what could be different? I think he IS talking about sex with Hawke having meaning, not just having sex.
I'm sorry, he just does NOT come off as virginal to me. Born again or otherwise.
Edit: I think a lot of people read "virgin" into this because the leading question is pretty much the same as what you ask Alistair when you ARE asking if he's a virgin. But the context is different with Fenris.
