Which means he could *possibly* be at least a hair taller then Fem!Hawke.

What's wrong with elves being tall as humans? I sort of felt like they got ripped off in Origins for having to be shorter.

As a huge Tolkein fan, I was used to my elves being taller than humans, so I was always miffed by my PCs height. Also, I hope Fenris is a little taller, that would be very nice.

Alright, I'm looking at the image again. Maybe not as tall as human men, but still taller than the females.







If you draw a line from the top of Fenris' head to the the top of Bethany's head, and draw another line from the tip of her feet to his, they are about the same height if not he being a little taller since they are approximately the same distance spatially from the camera.

I would just rather have the established lore stay consistent. What's next, qunari-sized dwarves? DA's elves are small, deal with it.

Visual continuity isn't as important to me as narrative continuity. As long as dwarves are still in the same socioeconomic position in Thedas, I don't really care what they look like.

It was stated in a review that elfs had bigger eyes and ears than in origins. I can see the bigger/pointier ears on Fen but not any difference with his eyes.. Maybe he's a little different-looking than the "male-elf#2" body-type.

It maybe because he is a different variation of Elf. Like the Qunari. Who knows.

Really? I quite liked that they were shorter. I'm not especially bothered but I do hope it's the same in DA2.

I would actually like him to be taller (i am a Tolkien fan too) or at least the same height as a human female. Oh and the change on the ears is visible and i like it! The eyes...i see nothing...

Can you imagine the same happening with Fenris? He'd spend all his time flirting with Aveline or something and I'd have to sit in a corner and fume.

And I'm not sure if I'll be that much happier if Nathaniel comes back as a LI companion in DA 2, because a romance between him and the Warden who killed his father (especially if she's Cousland) could have been far more interesting than a Hawke/Nathaniel pairing. There was so much delicious tension in Awakening that went to waste!!
