My first playthrough my Andersmanced Hawke was so shocked and stunned the best she could manage was "get out of my sight." So she let him live but only because she didn't have time to think. She was just SHOCKED. But I went back and had her kill him. I felt like that was better....not for her...but... My poor first run Hawke. Man...she had it rough.

there should be an option...where before you tell him to leave, you should stab him somewhere. it would be his arm, it could be his thigh, anywhere non-vital. The guy's the healer anyways, he's gonna fix himself. There's going be a scar or whatever, and that's ever better. I would want my Hawke to tell him "I bet it hurts huh? Well, the families of those in the Chantry you just killed will be in much more pain than this. I'm not going to kill you, because I want you to remember this moment, and death is just an easy way out for you. I'm not going to give you what you want, I want you to forever think back to this, where you realized the only person that believed in you no long does. Now...get OUT of MY sight"

YEAH!

Oooh. I like that option. Posted Image
As an odd point, I love how he stays silent when you tell him to leave. I was afraiid he was going to make one last comment over his shoulder or something... which would've made me want to throw a knife at him. Posted Image

I almost wanted to say "HEY. YOU GUYS WANT HIM DEAD. YOU DO IT."  Why does Hawke have to take care of everything?  Seriously Sebastian, you're so miffed you could have just shot him with an arrow.  Instead everyone is like "HE HAS TO DIE!"  Well okay then.  I don't see any of YOU picking up the murder knife!

I love that option - should have been in the game, I enjoy killing Anders Posted Image but hate making him a martyr Posted Image! It is nice that sometimes companions will do it for you - loved the time when I look Gascard to face down Quinten and Varric shot him for me Posted Image, made him my Hawkes bbf for life lol! But you cant beat a bit of Fenris'shiny blue fisting Posted Image

Hmmm, I want to add some Carver squee. I LOVE Carver. I love how he defends Mage!Hawke to Fenris. And Gray Warden Carver does me so proud :D He's got principles and he loves his brother/sister -- but he needs to get out from under their shadow!

Poor guy, Little Hawke. *sigh* Varric...

I really like Carver as well, even though he and Fenris don't necessarily get along. xD

All the guys are hard on him.  It's hilarious and made me feel sorry for him.  But, he and Fenris often agree in terms of what they give friendship/ rival pts for.

Yeah, that is true! Carver really seems interested in Fenris' abilities and the lyrium tattoos as well.

I also thought how he had a crush on Merrill was just adorable. xD

I love taking Varric with me for Prime Suspect anyway, since the comment he makes with the sarcastic response Hawke gives ("I'll bet you 20 silvers he says 'It wasn't me, it was the one-armed man!'"). I almost fell over laughing at that.

Right? What? pretty boy is too good to get his hands dirty? pfft, he didn't even avenge his own family. whatever. Hawke can't do everything!

Sebastion talks the talk, but he doesn't walk the walk.  What bugs me the most is when he tried to get Fenris to draw lots with him on who should turn in Anders and Merrill.  That would be a way for him to spread the responsibility of that action onto Fenris (win or lose, they both would be working together).  If he really felt that strongly that they should be turned in, he should have the cajones to do it himself.

I liked how Fenris refused to be a part of that game.

He's very much a naive boy in some aspects. He's got these ideas of how things should be but has absolutely no desire of actually performing them. Perhaps it's a prince thing, I don't know, but it's very annoying. The one and only thing I like about him is that respect he has for Fenris, and acknowledge Fenris' ability and status as a free man

@Anny78,HelenOrz, and 98745666,

It's when you accept the quest "Faith" from Sebastian to meet the good Sister Nightengale. I forgot the dialogue options I picked though, my apologies! Though Seb said something about Tevinter and of course Fenris had to reply, lol. Figures they **** about mages in front of one,one of whom is being romanced by said mage >.>

Yep, it's to Sebastian when you pick up the Leliana quest. Seb says something like "We cannot allow Kirkwall to turn into another Imperium."

Ugh, seriously, there were so many freaking mercy kills in DAII! I don't hate Anders, though, even though he's a crazy terrorist. Maybe it's just because my DAO mage had a soft spot for him...probably because he reminded her of Alistair. At least Alistair didn't change...

In my mind at least, Carver has a lot of respect for Fenris. At least partially because he's such a talented swordsman, but probably also because his number one priority is being his own man, which is Carver's whole issue. He gives so much crap to everyone, but he doesn't even try that shtick with Fenris, he just keeps asking him about himself like he's interested in Fenris as a person. Which of course makes me giddy, since they're my two favorite characters. <3

Yes, he says it to Sebastian in Act III (first time you see Sebastian-- the quest is called "Faith"). I believe you need to use the sarcastic option ("Mage this, templar that. Is there anywhere people aren't discussing this?) and Sebastian will say something after Hawke (and Varric and Merrill if you brought them along) says their piece that goes along the lines of "Kirkwall cannot become another Tevinter".

The pride Fenris says, "I knew I liked you" with is tear worthy.

Carver is also that one kid you know at one point in your life where he's always seeking someone's approval, and in this case, Fenris' approval. As much as he loves Hawke, he feels he's always been overshadowed by Hawke's talent and Bethany's magic...he needed someone who he can look up to, someone who understand what he sees in swords and what not.

I think you're bluffing. :D

Death seems far too easy for what Anders has done. He might be too far gone to gain anything from it, but I like the justice of forcing him to live in the chaos he's created.
