Hmmm, I want to add some Carver squee. I LOVE Carver. I love how he defends Mage!Hawke to Fenris. And Gray Warden Carver does me so proudHe's got principles and he loves his brother/sister -- but he needs to get out from under their shadow!

My first playthrough my Andersmanced Hawke was so shocked and stunned the best she could manage was "get out of my sight." So she let him live but only because she didn't have time to think. She was just SHOCKED. But I went back and had her kill him. I felt like that was better....not for her...but... My poor first run Hawke. Man...she had it rough.
there should be an option...where before you tell him to leave, you should stab him somewhere. it would be his arm, it could be his thigh, anywhere non-vital. The guy's the healer anyways, he's gonna fix himself. There's going be a scar or whatever, and that's ever better. I would want my Hawke to tell him "I bet it hurts huh? Well, the families of those in the Chantry you just killed will be in much more pain than this. I'm not going to kill you, because I want you to remember this moment, and death is just an easy way out for you. I'm not going to give you what you want, I want you to forever think back to this, where you realized the only person that believed in you no long does. Now...get OUT of MY sight"
YEAH!
To the pain, then?
Death seems far too easy for what Anders has done. He might be too far gone to gain anything from it, but I like the justice of forcing him to live in the chaos he's created.

Does anyone have links to decent Fenris wallpapers? I tried googling but came up empty-handed. Well, there is the promo shot, but with a bunch of screens floating around, someone should have gotten creative by now.

I've seen a video somewhere on yt with Fenris swaped in Isabela's place in the romance scean with MHawke.
That was pretty cool as well. I'd be more like Fhawke jumping at Fenris in my mind thou...*swooons*
Guess it was arranged by a similar trick.
And of course I can't find that video anymore for demonstrations purpose, damn it! Why do I never find things when I need them
It's touching that he is surprised his father named him for a swordsman and he realizes that he's maybe someone his father would be proud of after all. I think Carver's problem is that he always assumed dad liked mage Hawke more. Malcolm probably had to spend a lot of time training mage Hawke so they had a natural closeness and Carver felt left out of that. I do like that he respects Fenris, even if it isn't returned- heh. Although Fenris will say "I'm sorry about your brother, he seemed like a fine young man" if Carver dies in the Deep Roads.Helen0rz wrote...
Carver is also that one kid you know at one point in your life where he's always seeking someone's approval, and in this case, Fenris' approval. As much as he loves Hawke, he feels he's always been overshadowed by Hawke's talent and Bethany's magic...he needed someone who he can look up to, someone who understand what he sees in swords and what not.

I think Fenris doesn't have time to warm up to Carver as he does with the others. He's not as open a person in Act I. I'd like to think once they had time to chat after the final battle they'd be cool with each other.Addai67 wrote...

I'm not sure where this MEG FB group is at, but thanks for the DA link. I already looked there, but found the selection a little lacking. I'm sure more will pop up as people finish the game.
I'm a little picky when it comes to art and fanfiction. Almost anal.

The bolded part would be like.... perfect for my rogue. Absolutely perfect. Not so much for the mage, but the rogue would totally do that.
