ejoslin, that hot sexual tension, so powerful. We may have to have you (if we ever get the tool set) to put an addition flip. **wink, wink**

If we get a toolset, and it's feasible, there WILL be extended kisses :D  And a few more (I can think of a few places where they would be approrpriate, and a couple other where I just would want one anyway ;))

Edit: ToP.  I only have one screenie... I need to come up with more!  But here it is.

wait - what did I miss, Anders name isn't Anders?
When, where and how did that happen?

Ive seen it a couple of times on these forums now. Anders isn't his real name, its just a nick-name given to him when he joined the circle. He's from The Anderfells. So they called him Anders.

I think I would need to see something in-game to this effect before I form any real opinion.  But, if he's been 'Anders' since he was an adolecent, then I think he's perfectly justified in continuing to use that name.  Just because one's parents give one a name doesn't mean a body has to USE it.  As someone (David Gaider, in relation to Isabela?) said, what is a 'real' name?  In my opinion, it's whatever a person is willing to answer to.

AND, do you have the same reaction to Fenris calling himself Fenris rather than Leto?  It was the name his family used, after all.

haha.

Hmm. Where -would- you put additional kisses, ejoslin?

I'm thinking at least post Arishok duel deserves something tender(though maybe not quite a kiss since it's too soon after the walking away)

Rheia, actually I can see Hawke slamming into Fenris at his place and saying something like How could you get me into that showdown!!!  Then a heated kiss by Fenris for he is so impressed of how she won,

It would really depend on how feasible it is.  I'd like a sweet kiss after the "have you never" conversation.  I'd like a kiss on repeat after they're committed and in the mansion (a hot one).  I'd like a fast one when out and about.  Maybe a hug if they're not committed (I don't CARE that he dumped her, I still would like a hug when out and about).

I would have to see how feasible it actually would be.  If it's similar to DAO, it would be pretty easy.  A hug after the Arishok would not be as easy I don't think because I would imagine that the positioning of the actors has to do with party order, though I would definitely look at that cutscene.

Only if Isa doesn't return though...I love her to pieces, but it's worth having her leave at least once to have Fenris speak up for the duel... I'm curious how many people DON'T do the duel, since there is an option to refuse it? I just think it's too irresistable an opportunity to heroics to skip... (even if actual implementation involves kiting the damn horny bastard for half an hour while gulping potions)

I really would of really liked a hug when he try to console Hawke with the death on mama. I just want to run to him since I felt totally alone now. Everyone was gone (yes, stupid, I forgot to take Anders to the deep roads so Carver died)

What happens if you don't duel? And what does Fenris say if you duel without Isabela being there?

Heh, if you don't duel?  Like give Isabela back?  I did that my last playthrough since I was playing a warrior and didn't want to go through that fight.  Issy called Hawke a b*tch as she was taken away.  I had mixed feelings that **spoiler** Isabela ends up escaping and stealing the relic again.  I was happy she escaped, but I was sorry that it made absolutely no difference.  I have a feeling that this will be a major point in DA3.  ** end spoiler**

Fenris convinces the Arishok to duel Hawke -- you don't have to accept, but he argues the Qun very well.

Fenris bring the point to duel with Hawke and the Arishok said he does not fight with females. Then Fenris quote That the Arishok said that she is , oh I forget the exact name/words, worthy by the title he gave her.

lol that is how it was for my archer, Isabella ran out on me, and Fenris speaks up and gets me into a duel, and I spent the better part of 30-45 mins running away from him using booms, potions and Dog to kill him XD - Boy my mage had a lot easier time killing him, and she was trying to protect Isabella lol

The Arishok duel was awful. I already went through it twice, once as a mage and once as a 2H warrior... third time around's gonna be as a DH rogue, hope it's easier that way.

Hey Sue, how could you kill him? XD I swear, rival maxed, and he helped me defend the mages (my Hawke promised him a lot of unholy rewards for that XD). In fact, it reminds me of a conversation between Fen and Anders, where Fen said that basically, all mages were doomed, but Hawke was different (must say though that I did not dare choose the blood mage specialization, out of respect for Fenris).

Honey, it won't. Unless you're on a lower difficulty (I had bumped it up to Hard by then-- but it you're on Nightmare, I applaud you) and I ended up having to lower it back all the way down to Casual like it was my first PT all over again. But then the rogue I'm talking about (which was my male one) didn't have a decent constitution. My Kaalyss Hawke chose the option to not duel the Arishok and slaughtered all the Qunari in the throne room with the party.

I didn't bother to duel him.

My Hawke respected the Arishok as a worthy adversary/ rival, but didn't believe in the Qun or its concepts of honor and saw no reason to duel (especially as a mage) someone who was over twice her size and a warrior to boot. The Arishok had already told Hawke that he was not going to/ could not back down, so Hawke expected that he would still fight, regardless of it was a duel or not. My friends and I made short work of him and his friends.

My Hawke, the ultimate pragmatist. ;)

I understand that if you decline the duel that Fenris will give you rivalry points, but as I have always been maxxed with him by that point, I have never suffered a hit.

I've read in a few different threads how people wish Fenris' attitude towards mages would soften over the years, especially if Hawke is a mage. But then I think about what you actually see with mages in Kirkwell. Yes, mage!Hawke is awesome, and Fenris will acknowledge that. But just about every mage you encounter seems to turn to blood magic and turn into a demon. Even your mage companions do nothing to contradict what he believes about mages.

If anything, the years he spends in Kirkwell would do nothing but reinforce that most mages are extremely dangerous.

I never thought I'd think this, but the Ferelden circle actually had the right of it. Most knight commanders are probably not like Gregoir, however.
