This thread has gotten EXTRA AWESOME since page 100! *still catching up* Well, right up until that sparkling manjuice stuff. But then we got awesome again! And I have to say, there are people making so many cracks that made me laugh out loud that I simply couldn't name them all. The length of my post would break the forum. But know that I see them, and I'm sure a lot of us do!

Words and phrases that I wish were banned from this forum:
Derp
Herp
Derpicorn
Herpicorn
Dragon Effect
Butt monkey
With the exception of buttmonkey, as that is a fine word when used in the intended way, I
completely agree. Though I love my fellow forumites, these words are just used too much, and they don't really make any sense. They perplex me. What is this beast, the derpicorn? How on earth did it occur? I fear it!
Except Dragon Effect, which makes sense but sounds incredibly retarded, like someone making the joke about the chicken crossing the road to get to the other side as if it were original. It wasn't a difficult answer to get, the only reason people ask why it crossed the road is because they expect a more intelligent answer than the obvious lame joke. With Dragon Effect, we don't even have to ask, so it's actually worse. *sigh*

Touching Fenris isn't a good idea. He doesn't react well.

Evening, Ser Gaider! *tips hat*
I had a feeling Hawke would probably either get punched or get threatened with getting her hands cut off.
Well,
first he would flinch-- because his markings are quite painful, and
doubly so when they're touched. His first instinct might be to punch
someone who touched him, though he'd probably hold back if he realized
it was Hawke.
Then he would brood.
I actually squeed when I read those posts.

As Sir Occam said, "Implications... intriguing."
It completely makes sense for him, what with his history... awesome. Thank you so much for sharing this with us! It definitely whets the appetite. I can't wait to get to know him in-game.

I want to talk about the clothing
problem. Why would Fenris wear any clothes if it brings him excruciating
pain to be touched by anything? [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/wondering.png[/smilie]
I heartily approve of this logic!

Dante from Devil May Cry has this
same issue(white hair black eyebrows)... though there's other ways we
could tell if his hair color is true...*hint hint* [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/devil.png[/smilie]
I am so glad that these kinds of ideas occur to people besides me. Although admittedly, I usually have those thoughts about redheads! *returns the devilish smiley*

Hmm... now I feel like trying to do a survey to find out whether forum fangirls have dirtier minds than the average woman. *grins*

@Wynne, lots of catch up, yes?
I
thought no one like Tom's voice, nor interested in Prince Nuada and was
down for a little while. Thank you. It certainly cheer me up a bit, in
the midst of all the RL Christmas stress.
*lol* And how! I swear, this thread is like a speeding freight train!
Tom is awesome, both as an actor (of both screen and voice) and as a hot guy. Nuada... man, I know he had his problems, and I don't even normally did a chest that broad, I like the scrawnier guys, but Nuada's whole appearance is a one-way ticket to leerland for me. I was like
those chicks in the old Coke commercial only worse. My pupils were about as dilated as they could get.
I felt really sad for both him and his sister. They got so twisted, but they never had the chance to know anything else; only Nuala had a chance to come in contact with others and realize how messed up they were, how unable to grow as individuals. If they'd lived, I think she would've been so happy with Abe, and Nuada could've found somebody as well. They could've healed. It was a tragedy. That movie really surprised me.
*hug* Man, I know about Christmas stress... hang in there. It'll be over soon!

I thought Prince Nuada was incredibly sexy.
I was mad that his stupid sister kills herself and him. She could have
just disabled him.
*lmao* OMG, now that I think of it, you're right! Man... I guess she didn't have any hope that he could change? But she could've tried, you're right.
Oh, well. In the fanfiction of my head he is not dead. She and Abe are happily ever after, just like me and her brother.

Hear, hear! Vampire Diaries is fantastic. (although I'm only really a fan of the tv show, not the books)
I wouldn't mind Fenris' personality to have a tiny bit of Damon thrown in there, personally. Maybe Damon's sense of humor?
I loved the original three, then four books, but I read them when I was like 16-18, so I'm sure that made a difference.

And I dislike the most recent ones; don't have the same charm, IMO. But I really think L. J. Smith's best work was the Forbidden Game series... loved the Shadow Men and the way that the games kept coming to life. The end of the trilogy was so spooky... I swear, it's good.
But yes, the show is WAY better. At first I hated what they changed, but I've come to love it. Damon is fascinating with that sense of humor... so dark and biting, and usually psychotic! I love Damon because he really is a picture of what happens if you switch off your feelings and let your predatory instincts take over. He is so damaged underneath, but people are scared of him for a reason. I like that they made the "bad boy" actually SCARY for once, you know?

I find it amusing how many people would be against a bi Fenris based on nothing.
I think it's based on body type, actually. And prettiness. He is, if in a very manly way, very pretty. But I don't think he will remind anyone of Zevran. It's just, if he's a bi LI, then some guys will be disappointed because they didn't get their big hulking sexy human guy. Some gay dudes just really prefer the big muscular bear type, or even the short chest-hair sporting dude. I'm okay either way, but for the sake of variety of body type rather than just personality...
Welp, I'm on page 129 now, not long to go. Right? Right? *wipes sweat from brow*
