Oh yeah, on that note, have a sketch. I call it, "Fenris and his Kitty"

I almost titled it something a little less safe for work, but reconsidered.

Hee. Thanks.

And Aryn - I guess we can blame you for that one. I've just been drawing things as people here give me inspiration to do so.

Maybe I should just link my photobucket in my nonexistant sig or something.

Someone suggested to Mr. Emery that if he gets tired of acting, he could take up a profession as a sex phone operator.

Ahem.

Ooh, an awesome sketch, Azakias :) Curious, have you ever thought about collab with other artists for unfinished works? It'd be a shame to abandon this one :) Though I have to admit, sometimes rougher sketches look great on their own!

This seems like a really squee-kitteh day!  The little chibi Anders and cat also melted me.  I love how Fenris doesn't seem to know quite what to do with his, er, cat.

Hey guys - I have been lurking for like......ever.

But anyway, I say hello and I also came across a Fenris tribute Vid on YT. Not sure if any of you have seen it but it is bone chillingly amazing. This was pieced together brilliantly - so if you havent seen it yet - its a must!

Rheia: Can't say I have ever done any collaborations with others recently. I have done a few in the past. Its refreshing - its harder to get fatigued when you're working on something you havent been wrestling with since its inception. Were you wanting to give 'Fenris and his...Kitty" a go?

Lizzbee: Yup, that's the idea I got from Aryn's fic. Though I was afraid my drawing had him looking more annoyed than uncertain.

For the record, I would totally listen to Mr. Emery read a calculus textbook. Happily.

Edit: DemonSaya, we should enter both our variants of this to the MEG challange.

A medical report. One of those crazy legal documents that go on forever and make no sense. An extremely boring book.

...  And I bet he could make them all sound incredibly nice and like a field of melted butter...

Noo, nono, I can't write or draw worth anything, unfortunately. :) Was going to nominate Demonsaya :P
And actually recently people were looking up audiobooks narrated by Mr. Emery. Worth looking into, hey :P

Just finished DA2 a few days ago. Fenris's romance is so difficult but rewardingly heartwarming... Squeee! ^^ He was very well-written and his tics of personality (mage hatred, subjugation hatred, seeing the world through a slave/master lens, etc.) were very plausible and realistic....

A little thing, though. Did anyone else feel the Alone quest was a bit... underwhelming? I mean, here I am, looking forward to that final confrontation with Danarius practically from the moment I meet Fenris and learn what his deal is, and the guy - the scheming, diabolical Tevinter magister - just lures him into a tavern in the middle of the day. No intricately laid trap (doesn't the guy even know paralysation glyphs?) or sleep gas, no blood magic, no revelation of Fen's very mysterious lyrium markings with properties not fully known as a way for the magister to control him in a pinch... I dunno. The scene was very poignant for the options and conflicts it offered, but I expected the quest of such an important milestone in Fen's companion arc to be a bit more complex than that. In particular since Danarius was previously a force to be feared, a shadow hanging over Fenris, and such a clumsy setup didn't seem to match the hype...

I understand the whole "the game was rushed" problem, just wondering if anyone else felt the same way.

As would I.  I was totally creeping on his page the other day and there was a random link to some of the audiobooks he's done (on amazon.com, I think).  They had samples, so I listened to some of it.  I totally didn't know what he was reading since I wasn't paying attention to the story, just that sexy voice.  *drools*

I'm gonna ask you 6 hours from now to see what the book is about, because I have a feeling you won't have the answer to that question LOL!

I just listened to a clip of his narration. The man NEEDS to narrate some Sherlock Holmes stories, with a quickness.
