From a glance, Fenris looks like another Zevran which means he's gonna get real familiar with the bench.
I benched Zevran a lot when I played a rogue, so I didn't need him... But it's been all but confirmed that Fenris is a warrior.Heretical wrote...

Which means I'll probably be using him for my tank every time.

Well, I figured warrior because the sword he carries looks WAY too big for a rogue, not to mention the living weapon stuff. And most of us here at the forums seem pretty convinced, so my "all but confirmed" really means I think there's a 95% chance that he's a warrior.tankgirly wrote...

Huh? When was this confirmed? I must have missed something.
Anyway, I will take Fenris no matter where I will be in game. Just like Anders and Zevran.

David had stated he's nothing like Zevran

All you people mentioned, and the living weapon reference makes me think of a witcher - not literaly but a concept, you know, a swift killing machine with bred-in reflexes so to speak.
It would be a really interesting character if the humanity so many seeks in him was actually not there

I think 'nothing' can't be taken literal in that case. He probably meant that he wasn't thinking of Zevran when he created Fenris. But still, he is an elf, he is sort of a slave (much like Zevran 'belonged' to the Crows) and if he's also a LI for both gender then he does have alot in common with Zevran. His personality as such can still be competely different though.

I got the impression that he meant Zevran was more of a playboy who went with the flow, while Fenris is more stoic and broody. Who hurts when you touch his lyrium markings. He probably doesn't know a thing about love and or affection, because if you can't be touched due to pain, you're hardly going to allow someone to get close to you. Plus he's on the run and can't trust anyone.

I am not sure if I should like the 'memory loss' thing. I mean, what is a person without memory? Can't be deep or can it? Well I am sure though he will regain it step by step through the game.

A slave. Of which Fenris is an ex-slave.
Mind you the game takes place over the course of ten years. He will regain if not be granted new ones.
