Freckles, I want them so, so badly. I was really put out when I finally saw a clear close up of Aveline and she had no feckles

I like to think of 'im as a ruffled and wet "chicken". His hair stiff and uncombed...like a soaked bird in a rain...I dont like his 200$ hairstyle. But I said it already

I personally love his hair. It's the right length and I admit I have a thing for white hair (in the fantasy-moon elf kind of way, not the grey-white hair you got in origins)

Madame Rose, you are a kindred spirit! In real life, I have long hair that's in between wavy and curly. I loved Snow White as a little girl and dressed up as her for Halloween. And I often do sorta the same thing--I like contrasts. The idea of Fenris with a black-haired, pasty, blue- or silver-eyed human just gives me a little thrill. I dug Alistair with my dwarf girl and Zevran with my human. I like interracial couples for this very reason; differences between people who fall for each other just hit the spot for me, so much. I guess it's the fact that my own romance was such a culture clash.

Oh, yay! Another person who agrees that characters in a romantic relationship with contrasting appearances are adorable. 

I didn't pair inter-racially very often with Origins because I had a horrible time making elves look pretty (I only had two that I got through fully with, one of which I've never gotten rid of) and I couldn't get into playing a dwarf-- I don't know why. So I had mainly Couland characters or Amell characters, but I loved the two elves I did do and one of these days I'll get over my issues with dwarves and play one. But I had all the characters contradict whoever I planned to pair them off with.

I agree. To me it also makes sense finding a person with opposite looks attractive. E.g. nearly my entire family including me have brown eyes so I find green or blue eyes super attractive, not that I don't like brown eyes, but I'm used to it. To me blue/green eyes is exotic. So I'm all in on the black hair,blue eyes pale skin to Fen's looks wagon.

I'm happy that it's not just me. Because I have grey eyes and blonde hair so I think that green or brown eyes with brown or black hair is hot. Because my family is either grey, blue or hazel with blonde/dark blonde hair.

I never actually watched that show, though an old co-worker did make plenty of jokes about that once upon a time.

So I imagine it would have been similar.  Except in that case that Gary wasn't trying to kill me, nor disturbingly repeating my name in a variety of ways in a dark vault.

Anyway, brief tangent over.  So, that Fenris guy.  I wonder if his hair is naturally that color or if it changed as a result of his modification by his Tevinter masters.

There is always someone die in DA series, dear.
