[Hekateras]

Concerning Fenris's appeal, don't forget the mind-boggling facial and body animation. Very often Fenris communicates more through body language than words, and it is just brilliant. With such detailed depiction of a character and brilliant voice-acting.... yeah. ^^

About every PT I've done so far when I've romanced Fenris, I've gotten it.

I never get it! On any of my PT... Even reloaded the final battle quite few times. Screw you Meredith!

About every PT I've done so far when I've romanced Fenris, I've gotten it.

Hmm. If that happened in either completed PT, I missed it. (Granted, only on the second had I romanced Fenris, but I'm guessing she should have grabbed Bethany in my first one.)  I gave up on my first warrior PT - so I didn't see the end on that one.

I didn't see my husband's Meredith fight, so I'm not sure who, if anyone, got grabbed-n-stabbed in his PT.

Same...  Really, she's a character I love to hate.  Unless she's morphed into Anders.  Meredanders has a special place in my heart.

Would've been niice if any of these were options. So the templars come running up at the end and find Meredith as a bloody mess on the ground, instead of an odd statue-thing.

Amen. This is a huge part of Fenris' appeal for me. The VA and animation is just incredible and so well done.

Pssh, don't worry. It's called I know about where in the battle it happens (sometime after the second time you fight the Gate Guardians and Meredith begins to do her monolouging), so I thow everyone else (but Fenris) on to fighting other stuff and let Fenris alone fight Meredith.

Sad, how I love to get my LI skewered for the sake of how cool it is.

Nah, there is not much hate to be honest, just some occasional joke over the "I hate mages" attitude, but there is a lot of jokes on Anders too so...it's fair xD

Didn't pay much attantion to it before but now I get this "Danarius hiting on Hawke wibe" First the "Quite lovely" line and then I just heard Danarius yelling in the battle:"Try to leave the pretty ones alive!" 
Hmm..."the pretty ones"...you mean like Hawke and Fenris?
Well Fenris for obvious reasons I guess but Hawke? You dirty old bastard!
Anyone else getting wiered ideas of what would happened if Hawke & Co. actually lost this one?
It certanly does sound like he could get creative No? Just me?

I just came across some comment about Fenris being repulsive because he killed those Fog Warriors and ignoring how much he regrets and hates himself for it and with no empathy at all for someone brainwashed into obedience- Yeah, I left before I could be tempted to chip in on that. XD

Yeah, I've seen hating in both threads. I love both characters, though.

The Anders' thread, honestly, is filled with more Sebastian hating than Fen hating.  But really, I find the Anders' thread a lot of silly fun.

But Autumnyte is right, there's been some Anders' bashing in here too.  Anders might be full of the crazy, but I do like him.

IMO it isn't about liking, it's about empathy. Gods know if I could actually LIKE any of the characters I adore in real life, but it always depresses me when people just brush off someone's experiences without trying to put themselves in their shoes. There is a very real vibe of "empathy equals justification" going when characters are being judged. Any characters.

It probably wasn't Danarius. That line is something thugs, bandits and slavers in general often shout in battle. Pretty obvious what they mean. I'm surprised it took you that long to notice it.

It's a default 'slaver' soundset, actually. Bunch of other npc yell to leave the pretty ones alive, in DA:Origins too.
That said, Danarius can't die enough times for my liking. I want a ressurect and kill again option. I'd be at it for days . Ironic, considering that if not for Danarius you'd never meet Fenris, but here you go.

The 'pretty ones' line is a typical slaver line. I think it'd be hilarious if it turned out Hawke wasn't one of 'the pretty ones'.
