I finished my third PT of DA2 today! I have now officially tried all 3 classes (rogue, mage and warrior, with my mage romancing Anders for the experience and the other two Fenris ♥).
I have to say, two tanks with two handed weapons cream through most of the enemies pretty quickly (that would be my warrior Hawke and Fenris), plus watching them getting synchronized in battle was ridiculously cute (for me, anyway). :P
Who cares about page numbers anyway; can't we all get along or agree to disagree and sit by a campfire and roast marshmallows? While virtually ogling our pixel crushes, that is... >>

D'aww, you're making me miss playing a 2h warrior! That was definitely my favorite PT. Don't worry, finding the synched fighting cute is nothing - I had little mini competitions in my head between Hawke and Fenris, and every time he'd beat me to a group of enemies I'd shake my fist at the screen and think "oooo, you kser!" *hides in shame*

And I don't care about page numbers either. They are more than welcome to all the Anders they can stomach. More Fenris for me. <3

Edit: For great justice ~

Edit the second: And...I don't know what happened up there, but it won't let me fix it. Meh.

This is why I always take Carver and Fenris with my mage!Hawkes in the final battle. She can sit back, heal, and watch her boys work. B)

Someone mention Fenris with sunglasses?

Now I'm going away and back to playing with Fenris and my mage and not coming back until I see fit. Cya!

Yeah.  Cool Beans.
So I just finished fourth playthrough the other day.  Yeah...I know, I know, I need help (), but my rogue, Magdalene chose to side with the Templars this time.  I saw someone talking about their Hawke being Viscount and it got me thinking.  What would life be like for Hawke and Fenris (if Hawke is Viscount).  I don't know if that has been talked about before...but yeah.

< Up to seven playthroughs already, don't worry. I don't think you're the one that needs help here. ^_^

I think my fav class is Rogue...never thought I would say that since I'm ALWAYS the warrior girl in ANY game but rogue....rogue really came through this round. I love how fast it is, well, I use dual hands so it is fast :) Plus the Champion Armor for it is awesome looking, and I dont have to bring a separate rogue for opening chests.

ALSO...being warrior!Hawke means I see less of Fenris. No wait, I take that back, I did it anyways just because

Rogue!!!!! :wub::wub::wub::wub::wub:

I loved playing assassin/duelling rogue!  I haven't played Warrior  Hawke yet.  I did two mages and two rogues.  I'm waiting until after the patch before I start a new playthrough, plus get ahead for the juggernaut that is the middle of April and semester's end.

But I'm looking forward to playing a two hander! ^_^

My Warrior!Hawke has short, white hair like Fenris. Yup, did that on purpose LOL! I imagine them one day just chit-chatting and both noticed they had the same hair color...but their eyebrows were not white LOL!!

I'm waiting for the patch too...and maybe this time I can REALLY side with the Templars...because I can't but guess who I'm gonna romance? <3<3<3<3

Exactly.
For my warrior, I took Fenris, Varric/Isabela and Bethany/Anders. Always a rogue, always a healer and always a warrior. However, I have been known to take Anders out of my party just to take Aveline, girl just never dies on me.
Mage, so far I'm taking Varric, Fenris and Aveline everywhere. It's...fun.
Rogue, always Fenris and Aveline with Bethany...then she leaves so I take Anders. But I replace him with Merrill, because atleast she's funny and adorable, where as I can't stand him (I'm just not a fan, no offense to those who are)
But, there's always a pattern for me, Fenris comes almost everywhere, Aveline too, Bethany until I get to the Deep Roads. (I like her, she will never die.)
Plus, seeing my warrior and Fenris fight with the two handed swords....so awesome. Don't even need the others...well they have their uses (opening chests, healing, banter etc)
However, rogue will remain my favorite, because I could always role with a mage and two warriors. That was fun.
But, mage is fun, so far. I still am debating on being a blood mage, my character fits it so well, but with romancing Fenris.....maybe spirit healer? Idk yet.

Rogue was my first and favorite, but I liked charging into battle with Fenris with my 2h warrior; he would start at an enemy and I would go there and finish it off, thinking how it would go ( either "Thanks Hawke" or Fenris: "You stole my kill! Again!" Hawke: "You know you love me for it ♥").
I am a little crazy like that. XD

I doubt life as Viscount would be all that different from life as the Champion. Spend the day cleaning up everybody else's messes, rinse, repeat. Just with more paperwork (although that's what Bran is for!).

I'm wondering if the Divine had something to do with Hawke's fortunes changing. I bet she ended up ordering a march on Kirkwall or whatever it was Leliana was implying regardless of whether Hawke is Viscount or not (meaning the 'to restore order' line). That's the only reason I can think of for Hawke leaving either way. Unless Hawke just got bored of taking care of Kirkwall's problems. I know I'd be.

I don't know how it'd affect the relationship with Fenris. Aside from him getting lots of funny looks at boring diplomatic get-togethers. Although as Viscount Hawke could get him the deed to his mansion, which would be nice. Not that they'd be living in the city for long enough for it to matter.

Yeah, I didn't even think about the fact that the Divine would play a part in that.  I'm wondering if there is still some resentment toward Hawke also being a native Ferelden also.  I could see the nobility initially loving him/her but slowly coming to despise Hawke if s/he enacted a few policies that they didn't like.

I think it would be kind of funny to see Fenris at those fancy parties.  His stoic nature would play well though.  He's be smiling politely on the outside though I do like hearing some of his more philosophical observations.  I think my favorite of his is when you're in Lowtown and he says (not the exact phrase) "You can always find the true character of any country by looking at the treatment of the poor."

I don't think this would happen, but it'd be interesting to see him debate some Kirkwall nobie about domestic policy:D.  That would be sooo awesome!

I'd hope after all Hawke did for Kirkwall they'd be over the Ferelden thing. It seemed like a lot of the nobles were already wanting him/her to become Viscount even before the big battle at the Gallows, and I can't imagine taking out the evil, insane Knight Commander and ridding the town of all those blood mages would hurt Hawke's chances.

I think Fenris would do well at a diplomatic party as long as he didn't offend with his bluntness. Politicians aren't used to his brand of total honesty. :P

He's incredibly intelligent and can hold his own in philosophical and idealogical debates. But all it takes is some boorish ambassador saying something horrible like, "You're fairly smart for an elf." ...And I can't imagine that ending well at all.

@steph01423: That really does look like The Smolder. xD

Is it bad that I don't necessary have a strategy? I just take whoever I wanna take. Well, I do make sure I have one of each class, but aside from that...I think I mostly just take Varric, Aveline and Fenris

LOL!  Awesome!  Seriously, Dragon Age is like crack in video game form.  It's killing me with the waiting.  I tried playing another game that I have on the docket but I see that case with Hawke on it and my fingers start twitching.  :P
