I wish there is a mod that replace him with Alenko in game, just for the sake of not seeing him.

Agreed. And that he doesn't cheat on Hawke. And it's evident he and Hawke are in a relationship even if Hawke is not present (if he shows up in DA3 and Hawke isn't protaganist).

Although, if Fenris literally gets turned into a toad, we might just have to kiss him to change him back.

*was writing femShep/Garrus luvin' long before the cool kids were doing it* I adore that turian. It was love at first headshot.

Jacob had only one good thing about his romance. He asks Shepard how she's holding up emotionally, and there are some decent replies in the mix. It's one of those "post Mama Hawke's death" moments that are missing in most romances because it's always our PC asking about the LI's issues, not the other way around. Other than that, the poor guy simply stands no chance against the likes of Garrus and Thane. Neither does Kaidan, frankly.

I can't tell if I like Garrus or Fenris more. Good thing I don't have to choose.

I spend lots of time romancing him in Origin and when he turned up, he didn't even mentioned my Warden.

My main problem with Jacob was that any conversation you started with him with F!Shep made me feel as if my Shep was going to be brought up on sexual harassment charges.... and his freakish man hips.

I just hope they don't throw the Hawke/Fenris relationship under the bus for the sake of one meaningless cameo. ::sigh::

@tankgirly: Fair enough. Ashley was actually one of my favorites so for that alone I wished the VS had been in ME2. I'm glad the VS is returning.

@Aeryn-Sun: Good one. Garrus totally scoped and dropped me too.

I think Shepard in general is missing a sense of vulnerability. S/He is just too much the perfect hero, always knows the right thing to say, doesn't get mad, just gets even, doesn't talk about his/her problems to anyone, at any time, for any reason... I admire Shepard, but I connect more with Hawke.

Not in 1.02 apparently. Reloaded that save to check and no dice.

Thing with Kaiden, for me personally, he lacks the edge of either Garrus or Thane. There's just not enough 'oomph' in his character. He's too... nice, too 'regs', and I didn't like the fact that you have to save him twice. (beacon + Virmire). I guess I just like some darkness in my fantasy romances

I think for me I want to have my cake and eat it too. I don't like an LI that's too 'safe' like Kaidan or Jacob, but at the same time I don't want one that's too dark or angsty like Anders.

What I like about Garrus and Fenris both is that they have their own drama, but they aren't defined by that drama. It doesn't seem like they let whatever issues they have interfere with a relationship, and in spite of the angst there are moments where they actually pass for normal, average guys. Being a badass is just their day job.

Well, I didn't have many bugs to start with. The only ones I had was "the slow" bug with Isabela's buff, Aveline's armor upgrade and Varric's concern about my romance with Fen...

I solved Isabela's problem before patch with savegame editor.
It looks like Avelin's armor works now as well, but still no Varric talk
Was fiddling with different saves on both friend and rival and no sign of it so far.
I have no idea what exactly triggers the quest either so I think I'll just start a new PT.

Im also tempted to replay my Landsmeet save so I can have Alistair coming back as a GW. I've seen this cameo on yt and it's my favorite of all three (in my current save he is a king married to my warden)
The problem is, once I played DA2 everything feels like slow motion in Origins. I can't stand it!

Yeah...I still have the Bracilian Forest left - and the combat is making me grit my teeth. Is it sad that I've decided I'll go as far as the beginning of DA:A so I can see King Alistair's cameo (I don't want to YouTube it ) and then back to DA2 for me. If I don't just throw the game in for a little bit of fun between now and the XBox patch...

...I'm trying to do an F!Amell run in DA:O.... I forgot how...bad...mages in DA:O were until you get thm Spell Might and Tempest/Blizzard....

I think what they fixed is the ending epilog where Varric has been saying the names of  everyone Hawke slept with all at the same time, instead of just the name of the person he/she was in a romance with at the end.  When I had 'girly time' with Isabela before romancing Anders, the subtitles said 'Isabela' although I am pretty sure Varric said Isabela and Anders at the same time.

I couldn't make her finally get together with Garrus only to be using him to cheat on somebody else. I feel like he'd have a problem with that, especially since her LI would have been one of his former crewmates (what with turian team unity ideals and stuff)...

That said, now that they're both going to be in ME3 I'm totally cheating on Kaidan with Garrus just to see if there are any extra dialogues. When it comes to Garrus and Fenris lines, I will leave no stone unturned. Even if it means picking the painful options.

EDIT: I never saw any 'hair curling'. When is this? o_o

well, I never bothered doing  a second pt until now LOL!!! I'm doing a cheating on Kaiden pt. Seriously, it's not cheating, technically he told you he moved on...or so he says (or he had to go on with his life without Shep). With how he acted on Horizon...yeah...I don't think of it as cheating and Garrus is awesome. I am curious though...because if you romance Liara she acknowledge that it's been years and it's ok, but I don't think Kaiden is gonna take it well LOL!
