Also about the euphemism about the Arishok; we have the arishok, horns and the noun horny which would make the innuendo, but there is no verb for making someone horny so I hit a dead end. >.< Bleh.

 BUG REPORTING!  Right now, the devs are asking for bug information so it can be fixed in the next patch (Varric's conversation not triggering is already on the list, as are the romance flag import bugs).  Since 1.02 I still have not seen Fenris' dog talk.  Is anyone getting it?  If you've tried and have not been able to get it, could you report it here?  They want the bugs confirmed.  If you have been able to get it in game (not with the console), could you let me know and I can try again?

I've played a few quests in act 2 yersterday after the patch (night terrors and bitter pill, mostly to see if Varrick's friendly concern would decide to trigger) and I've not seen any new dog interaction pop up... I'll play some more with later saves still in act 2 and see if it decides to trigger.

Though, since this wasn't on their list of fixes, I doubt it was taken care of. I'll drop my confirmation in the thread once I play some more in act II, just to be sure.

P.S. My god. This thread is like some kind of zen area. Every time I stick my head out to the general discussions I find myself in a damn war zone. So very few people care to maintain any level of civility in the discussions there. It's disheatening.

Thank you! I spent some time going in and out of the house until Dog conversation dried up. I don't think it's in there either. But I did more than my share of yelling about the import bugs and Zevran's dialog bugs yesterday and I'm afraid that I may be seen as a pest Or fanatic. Or, well, most likely, both

I just thought of something, though. All my saves are with characters in romance with Fenris and none of them triggering his dog conversation. I could have sworn, however, that 80 or 100-something pages back someone posted an occurance of Anders romance scene occuring and then walking outside towards front door only to have  Fenris in their house talking to dog.

This was pre 1.02 and possibly pre 1.01 official patch, mind you.

I'll try to track that post down.

Ooooh, I'll clarify in my post that the romance with Fenris is active.  I vaguely remember that as well!

I've already seen the image, but the animated gif takes it another level of amazingness xD

Btw, I've never seen the Fenris-Dog dialogue, romanced or not. It just never happened. And I tend to go home (Gamlen's or Estate) pretty frequently...I used to save always home before I noticed the Isabela's bug in Act3 >.<

Herm. I think I finally saw the Fenris dog talk this latest play through. I was before the 1.02 patch, though. I don't remember if I had triggered Fenris romance by that time or not. Wow, that's not really helpful, is it?

I never triggered the dog scene with Fenris, even in my Anders romance PT, and I tended to go home and talk to dog very often in all acts... So... :/

Turns out, it HAD to be after, because I didn't even visit my new home in Act 2 until after QB and a Bitter Pill.  But I can't find where Fenris showed up to talk to dog.  I know it happened, though because I had heard the sound files and wondered when he said them, then, there he was, waiting to talk to dog on this playthrough and I was all


Edit:  I just ran in and out of my home and got Seb, Aveline, Dog and Isabela, but no Fenris.  <_<  I have NO idea how I got it that one time.

Now I am wondering if I am remembering wrong and it was actually in Act 1.
