knock out Paragon of Her Kind ASAP...it'll make the rest seems SO MUCH shorter LOL :D

Oh I plan to. I JUST got Zevran(Though Nissa is snogging Alistair), so once I hit Denerim real fast, it's off to Orzammar.

Fem!Cousland checklist:
I'm down to Nature of the Beast, Landsmeet, and Archie. (but, I always do Broken Circle first, to get Wynne.)  As an aside, it's still awesome to watch Alistair knock some idiot who attacked his favorite rogue on his/her butt with a big shield to the face...Much as I enjoy Fenris seeming to pretty determinedly guard Hawke once romanced. I didn't *touch* the tactics, either. D'awwwww! (and I stray back onto topic!)

I believe the key is to not actually sleep with Anders and when he comes tothe mansion at night, you must reject him

Nope, my m!hawke totally slept with him and then ended things after Anders said 'I love you'.

Ouch. I watched that scene on youtube once and I totally wanted to see it for myself with one of my Hawkes but I could never not have my Hawke go for Fen so I might not ever be able to test it out. Oh well.

As much as I enjoyed Orzammar's rich background/quests and stuff, I was just so DONE with how long it was...

I'm claustrophobic. I run through Orzammar as fast as I bloody can. It still takes me around 3 hours.....

And Nissa just got Ali's rose.

mmmmm Ali.....<3

I'm a human girl, never was the elf fanatic type.....but with this one is ALL ABOUT Fenris...I wonder if he's secretly a mage...

Ali's sweet and his romance is touching in it's own way. I've never done a "King's Mistress" run in DAO... That's what I plan for this one..  I had never planned to become a Zev fangirl, but after romancing him all the way through in one run, I fell hard for the elf...

I refuse to be his mistress. my Warden is better than that.

That's why I fake re-spec Morrigan into a Healer... I just use the Store Dupe trick to get like 50 Arcane Tech tomes and change Morri from a controller to a Healer. I dislike Wynne... Though since my Nissa Amell is a SH, I don't need Wynne at all.

Edit: It is 10:50 pm EDT. I just got the First Quest for Bhelen. Let's see how long this takes me.

I did start with Anders, solely because he was in Awakenings... and lucky for him, too, because after romancing Fenris in my 2nd playthrough, I just can't go back or romance anyone else. I love Fenris and Hawke together waaaay too much. Just to spite Anders, I killed him that playthrough. Just to make a point.

tankgirly, I very much dig the fanfic, and you've given me the strength to also be shameless, and shamelessly repost my video too. :innocent:

Dawwww, thank you. :wub::happy:

Yes, everyone must be shameless!! I fully support all shameless reposts, especially because I feel so behind and started creeping on/posting on the Fenris thread just a few days ago... and I just know I missed so much.

Shameless reposts net +100 approval from Steph.

Ooooooh fog warriors... I like where this is heading.

I totally missed this. Silly me.

Nissa will be content with that. She's a mage who's first experience outside the Tower was watching the Darkspawn damn near kill every one she'd met in her new life. So she'll cling to the only other person left from that disaster, and be happy with whatever she gets from it.

11:30, back to Orzammar after a brief break to make something to eat....

Edit: Oh, as a funny note, I named my Mabari Hawke.

@Hekateras - Just finished reading. Maker, that was good! Definitely had to be a confusing and pivotal time for Fenris. I loved how you tapped into his psyche and the relationship with Danarius. Very good, love your writing style!

Shameless reposts? Well, I DO have a prompt fic that never got posted.....Posted ImageAh, here it is, with some little editing.
Roof. (Continuing from Need.)

It was a rare thing for their little band to indulge in frivolous activity, aside from the coin it cost they were usually involved in something or other and needed to be sober or they were laid up as a result of the aforementioned something.
So for their whole group to be in a tavern, drinking, was an unusual thing. The owner didn’t mind, they were quieter than many mercenary groups, paid their tab and didn’t bother the other patrons or waitresses unduly.

Hawke had handed over the pouch of coin, said they deserved a break and a bit of fun and told them all (with an emphasis on all directed at him) to have it. And have it they had. Carver and Merrill were slumped against each other, both having consumed too much alcohol to stay conscious. But they would come to no harm with Sebastian and Anders nearby, even if they were engaged in a morose intoxicated competition of “My Life is Worse than Your Life”. Isabela had done some outrageous lying to get the prince/priest to drink, and even with his wariness concerning the pirate she had won him over, Sebastian had forgotten the prime rule.

‘Never trust Isabela, never.’

Aveline was at the bar, nursing a tankard of ale and conversing with Donnic. Varric and Isabela were intoxicated enough to perform some sort of bawdy song about a Templar and a Mage to the delight of the crowd, the Dwarf and the Pirate weren’t half bad. But Fenris still preferred Hawke’s voice.

He looked for her, last he had seen she had been at the bar with Aveline and Donnic, who was profusely apologising for the ‘courting’ incident. But she was not there now. He tramped down a thrill of alarm. Hawke was fine, everything was fine, he just had to find her. It had not gotten any easier, dealing with the way he felt for her. Hiding it made it worse, but he did not want to frighten her off by being too forward.

He slid out of his chair and made his way over to Aveline at the bar, it was most likely she knew where Hawke had gone. He waited politely for a pause in her conversation with her husband.

“Would you happen to know where Hawke has gone?” He asked.

“Oh, our fearless leader said it was getting a bit too lively in here for her; there’s a nice rooftop garden here, just go up those stairs.” Aveline explained, only slightly affected by the ale.

Ah, that sounded like Hawke. She was prone to slipping off to be on her own.

He thanked Aveline, nodded to Donnic and climbed the stairs leading to the little rooftop garden. A half-moon gave plenty of light but a few lanterns had also been lit, attracting moths to flutter around the glow. A few scented candles of the kind used to chase away biting insects flickered around a divan, which Hawke lounged on; simply staring off into the night.
The moonlight was kind to her pale complexion, giving it a sort of glow. It shone over her dark hair and illuminated her sweet features. She looked so peaceful, her yellow-brown eyes were contemplative and he almost hated to disturb her.
He went to walk away, he had found her and she was fine.

“Fenris?” Came the quiet call, she must have heard his footsteps. He turned back.

“I had wondered where you had gone.” He explained at her curious look, she smiled in response.

“I felt the need for a little quiet; it’s quite lovely up here.”

“Well, now that I know I shall leave you.” He nodded to her, a little sad. It might have been nice to sit with her in the cool of the night...

“There is plenty of room” Hawke called back, and Fenris stopped. “If you want to stay...”

“I do.” He smiled and she made room for him on the seat.

They did not speak, nor did they need to. It seemed a shame to ruin the quiet of the night, the call of crickets and frogs the only noise besides the humming of muted revelry in the bar below. The stars above were mirrored by the lights of Kirkwall below. It was nice to simply sit and be.

And then Hawke started giggling, Fenris turned to her; curious as to the source of her amusement.

“I’m sorry, but you...you have a moth in your hair!” She laughed “Here, let me...”

She pulled herself up on the divan so that she was leaning over him and he felt her fingers brush gently through a lock of his hair, her hand came back and she showed him the little brown moth before it fluttered away. Hawke turned to watch it and Fenris became aware of just how close they were.

Hawke turned back to look at him, and it stole his breath to realise that her lips almost touched his, just a little closer...
She closed the distance, pressing her lips to his and he did not waste a moment to question it, kissing back and revelling in the soft warmth of her kiss; it seemed that an age passed before it ended.

“I...I have wanted...to do that...for a long time” Hawke admitted shyly. Fenris gently traced her lips with his fingers.

“So have I.”

Stop it, you're making me want to stop being lazy and write!

;p

I'll do it tomarrow, when I'm not half asleep digging for posts of awesomeness and blurry-eye-reading other peoples fantastics fenfics ;p

I've yet to finish a second playthrough with Anders as a romance. I can't do it. I even have a rivalmance with Fenris-run to Friendsmance with Anders playthrough sitting half way through act 2.. and I can't bring myself to finish it.

I <3 you Anders, I really do... but Fenris stole my heart. Alas, my sworn duty to never love Elf characters has officially fallen from the wayside. Where's Alistair with no shirt when you need him?

In almost 1500 pages I'm sure every piece of Fenris art that can be scrounged up has gotten scrounged up, and I love it. It means I don't have to paw through the internet myself for it! I'm still very partial to this one from a little while back. Wish they'd put that on a poster.

Edit - Also, does Fenris ever say the "They know what I am" line, and if so, when does he say it? I've completed DAII three times and never heard it.
