...did you do Cave Crawling in Act 2? You can get it after doing Inside Job for Hubert. You go to the Mine and talk to Jansen... He sends you into the cave to deal with a Spider Infestation....

The Queen Spider is as big as a Vartarrel....

Back to Fenris.....Anyone took him to the Night Terrors quest? I must admit I quite enjoy take him in and watch him apologise for betraying you later. Heheh.

The monstrous spiders in this game do look like the one from the return of the king now that yoyu mention it...and yeah, tommorrow I will be doing cave crawlers...and that other quest there...as I'm at the point in now my 4th playthrough(first romancing Fenris) where you deal the "all that remains" quest...

Fenris is quite sweet in the aftermarth of All That Remains...A little awkward if you chose "Just say something" but then he goes sweet.

Really? I can't stand the parsimonious little twit...Sorry, but his "Kill Anders or I'll come back with my army and do it" ultimatum annoys me, especially when he does it after saying that he will re-devote himself to the Maker. I dunno, his character just...dosen't get to me, plus I don't like being told to choose one friend over the other.

I can certainly see from his perspective. When someone as close as a mother figure being kill, that's pretty much all you had in mind. Remember that was what he reacted when he learned his family was kill. He might get around

Plus, his eyes....and voice.... And his banter with the others...they were just so funny! He actually menioned during my Cousland import playthrough he was reading the story about the Warden. I bet he found similarities!

Oh, the voice and eyes are great...but still. The way he goes about it...pushes all my 'Don't DO that!' buttons...And if Fenris can agree to help the Mages then Sebastian can suck it up too!

I dunno, Seb seems a little uncontrolled with his emotions - I don't want to go to the chantry - I love the chantry - Must avenge family! - want back in the chantry - must take back Starkhaven to kill Mage - MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!

Plus Elthina spent most of her time trying to tell him that revenge solves nothing...He has the same listening problem that Merrill has, methinks.

His family sent him to the Chantry probably for the same reason--that he's a very emotional person and acted on impulse all the time. Funny how he managed to not bed with Hawke (heheh).

Fenris didn't really believe in anything to start with, so he stay by Hawke mainly because of his loyalty and love.

I am pretty certain he will get around, once he calm down. Or the Devine might talk him down.

We can only hope...'Twoud be a shame to waste all that cuteness.

Sebastian is completely undisciplined. He's never had to make a decision and either stick with it or face the consequences. Even in the short story about him, Elthina does him a disservice (though I don't necessarily disagree with what she did and I do admire her intentions) because she takes away probably the only real chance he's ever had to be held accountable for his actions. In his dealings after meeting Hawke, the guy is always jumping from one side of the fence to the other and back again because he knows nothing will happen to him either way. He's immature.

Uh, that probably reads like I'm ranting and hating on him, but I don't dislike him. I did in my first game, but after getting to know him more and understanding where his double-mindedness is coming from better, I see potential in him. And I love his talks with Fenris. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with his story down the line.

Every darn time.  Rivalry apology is great. Only Fenris can get away with making it feel like it -really- was Hawke's fault LOL.
