I am still fuming that they apparently cut shirtless Fenris out of the game due to sheer laziness.  The art team was told to make him a shirtless model, but they didn't do it because they didn't think it was worth just one scene.

It's OK, Fruit. We'll *sniffle* make it somehow without Shirtless Fenris gracing our eyes.

(Although, like I said the other day. Probably for the best. The Fengirls and Fenboys would flood the world with nosebleeds probably if we had ever seen it.)

I was out all day and just caught up on the thread, so apologies if I'm bringing up a dead subject.

Re: the whole "why do you like Fenris" thing.

Maybe several of us got drawn in at first by his physical appeal (side note, how about bi men and women, or just a player who wants to see how the Fenris romance plays out?  it doesn't have to be all straight women and gay men) HOWEVER, given a little time to see his character's depth, he appeals even more.  If all Fenris was, was some emo pretty fangirl bait, I would have gotten over him in a few days.

I think the real depth of Fenris's character is best explored if you romance him.  There is a lot of depth and emotion to his subtlety and how he changes over the course of the game.  Being his BFF is great too, but again I think he shows some things in the romance you might not otherwise see.

I don't hang out in other threads; do people go in there and ask Anders/Merrill/Isabela/Sebastian/Aveline/etc fans to justify why they like that character?  Is it because this thread is so sizeable that people need to get us to prove Fenris is worthy of 1500+ pages of discussion?  That irritates me.  Merrill can be emo pretty fanboy bait, but I don't feel a need to ask why people like her when I don't like her.

I wish there had been at least one scene where Fenris got so drunk he started slurring.  That would have been adorable, especially with Gideon Emery's voice.

Yeah, they have said the same thing to every thing people have complained was missing.

Like they only made like 5 dungeon maps because they would have to cut out so many of the wonderful quests otherwise.  Like returning some dwarf's missing bottle of brandy and someone's lost pantaloons.

How about this, maybe they could have spent more than 18 months developing the game?  Then we could have both shirtless Fenris and a quest for lost pantaloons!
