Cullen: (looking up) Yes? W-Warden Amell, how can I help you?

Amell: (sighs) Cullen, you know there's a name that goes along with the title. Speaking of which, look at you! You're a Knight-Captain in the Free Marches!

Cullen: (blushing) It's a welcome change of scenery.

Amell: Well its good to know that your safe from demons and abominations here in Kirkwall.

Cullen: (awkward chuckle) Yes, no demons here in Kirkwall, just peace and quiet here.

Amell: Care to join me for dinner later?

Cullen: I would love to.

Amell: Well then, I'll see you later.

Fenris: A mage and a templar. What will they think of next.

Hawke: I don't know, perhaps an apostate-turned-champion and a magic-loathing elf.

Catching up to the latest on the thread - I *love* that Fenris/Anders pic regarding Merrill. I think Merrill is one of the reasons I can conceivably max Fenris friendship by the end of Act 1 *and* stay generally true to the kind of character I like to play.

Doc makes me think - I actually am considering playing through DAO/A as Amell and romancing Zev, just for kicks. (I've never done either one before - should be fun!)

And Tankgirly, get out of my head! (I was considering writing an interacte vignette involving my canon Warden to go along with Aniya's fic - now I *have* to finish it. Thanks for the incentive! ) Since I don't have exams for a while now, I may actually get this one written!

In response to that awesome pic in Tank's link, I love the fact that Gideon Emery has voiced two of my favorite video game characters. Man's got talent.

Also while on the subject of Fenris/Balthier I give you this sorry edit attempt:

Holy geez those are great I laughed so hard. I love the past lives it makes me smile to hear gideon emery anywhere. Yet for some reason its hard for my brain not to go to fenris, lol.

Oh and doc, brilliant as always . I loved my mage warden making cullen blush and be all awkward. Awesome times.

Oh man my Dalish Warden and Fenris in one area? It would be a snarky-male-elf-brood-off of epic proportions! But all I got at the moment was my Mahariels reaction to Fanris' dialogue at the Dalish camp;

Fenris: Traipsing through mud all day, how do the Dalish stand it?

Mahariel: *snorts* I never picked you for a such a delicate flower.

Fenris: and a Dalish would know all about flowers, and frolicking

Mahariel: Well we can't be deadly warriors and stern guardians of the old ways all the time.

My warden is an elven mage loyal to the end to alistair. Her and fenris in the same area she would no doubt try to convince him how the circle is a prison. She would have a lot in common with him and probably want to earn his respect and loyalty. I see them butting heads a LoT especially about magic but my warden also embraced her warden fate and was ready to die except she feared what would happen to everyone else if she did. She is tough but a real golden heart would do anything for others kind.

Just wanted to add my name to the Fenris lurve thread
It's the voice, has to be! In RL I'd hate moody/broody guys unless.....they had THAT voice .

I was an Alistair fangirl but there is no going back now, he's dumped!  Fenris all the way!

First playthrough I romanced Anders but meh, it just didnt feel right, 2nd playthrough Fenris rivalmance....Hawt stuff!
5th playthrough now, been Fenris all the way, friendmance or rival, doesn't matter, although I tend to prefer friendmance especially with my Hawke magey. I keep starting off a new pt with the intention of other romances, however, 1st flirt option in Bait and Switch and thats me, sold on Fenris again.

Ah well, at least I'm not alone lurking in here!

Yay! Another convert.. or coerced FenFan. Honestly, the voice is melody in itself, but even if Fenris didn't have that voice I think I would still fall for him every time. Since my first play through I was sold at his entrance scene. The way he just fist phases that guard. I was like, You.Are.Awesome. I must know more of you! Never looked back, lmao.

I too am an Alistair fangirl. I love him, but I do love hardened Alistair a tad more than normal Alistair. My Warden and him have gone through so much together that they are inseparable (in my head), and be one of those epic romances that never die.

Fenris is another story. I see myself in him. I keep trying to pull myself away from romancing him, but I can't. I have spent more time than I should over-analyzing his character, listening to his dialogues, browsing through screenshots, replaying cutscenes. My boyfriend said to our friends the other day.. "I am almost jealous of this character in Dragon Age 2 named Fenris. She is obsessed with him." -- I was like "because he is one of the most fantastic characters ever created!" He says "Yeah, and that's why you have his pic on your phone, another pic on your desktop. Why your constantly on those forums.. yeah.. because of his character, right." To which I replied "YES. because he is that awesome. Don't be jealous."

@Arquen, lol about the screenshots, I'm exactly the same, hubby glances over from his pc and just tuts at my ever-changing desktop pics, always Fenris in various poses and pouts, lately most of them in lovely huggy clinches with my fem!Hawke. To appease the disaproving looks I've stuck a token Janders screenie on >.>, "see honey, I'm totally character neutral and sooo not attracted unhealthily to that husky, broody, glowing pixelated elf, cough, cough".
