--Lyrium markings
Personally, I have no artistic talent. I probably could find someone who does have the time and patience to try to do the markings, but it'd probably have to be a skintone to get the complete set, and not say, facial paint (which I like for any markings because I wouldn't have to use SimPE to alter the skintone to get those markings). So no Lyrium markings for TS2 Fenris (I'm disappointed, but it's just like not having the armor for him or Marian Hawke either), because, even if I requested someone to do it, probably by the time they finish them, he'll be well out of the Legacy house, or at the elder stage.

Bah! If I had the time and the resources, I'd have it done in two days, tops. :P Someone with more skill then I could also extract his skin in DA2 and fix it into a Sims skin which could then be edited into tattoos. Once again, I curse my lack of Sims 2 on my computer.

-- If I did upload him, it would not to be the exchange. It would either be ModTheSims, or (more likely) Garden of Shadows. Main reason why GoS over MTS because that I've heard of people with legitimately bred Sims who extracted them and uploaded them to MTS, and were then reported for stealing because their Sim looked similar to one someone else made. GoS is a lot better about that-- they understand that Sims can be bred and look like other Sims (Ezio (who was Gen-E heir and completely natural bred) actually looks almost EXACTLY like my guy I created from my BaseGen-- they just have different eye colors, and I did something different with the facial hair)

Amen, sista! The exchange is bull****. :wizard:  I prefer GoS (grunge is the shiz) but I had an...ah...episode, thanks to SimSecret which kinda makes me not ever wanna show my virtual face around there again. MTS, I love it. But I got banned there. Underage crap from way back when. xD

-- Bah, TS3. Ambitions redeemed it somewhat for me. Late Night ruined it again, and since I've had no desire to play TS3 and went back to TS2.

Sims 3 ruined the franchie, in my humble opinion. I own it, and I play it when I can, because thanks to Walmart's ****ty return policy, I can't get my money back. I'm never buying any of the EPs or SPs. I absolutely LOVE the animations, I absolutely LOVE the interactions, but EVERYTHING ELSE is ****E. v_v I can't make my own mods, I can't install mods correctly, and why? Because, without infringing on copyright at all, some people made some MATURE mods for it and EA flipped their lid. Meanwhile, paysites like TSR are open and endorced even though it's against the law AND EA gets no money, I believe, from TSR's sales. Plus it's got REALLY crappy things on there.
Thank the Maker for Pirates. -salutes and passes around the bottle of rum-

I love the pictures; it makes me wanna play soooo bad. :(

I think it's a Legacy house thing-- a large number of them like to dance. Most of them have Music & Dance as their favored hobby, and if it's not that, it's either Science or Fitness. I think one of the C-Gen boys had Sports-- but he, too, might have actually been fitness.

I know-- he's so cute in his little blue jacket! (It's much better then what he had originally after he went from toddler --> child. It was the fugly yellow sweater and pink scarf that I have no idea why it was put in the boy's clothes. At least it's better then the *one* D-Gen boy, who everything he pretty much changed to when he aged up (exception to formal-- and that was usually the formal I liked, which was really weird ) looked extremely female. I guess it was fitting with his name-- I still feel so bad for Fenris because of it)

And actually, if you like in that shot, Child!Fenris is such a flat-ear; wearing boots?! The nerve!

I hate summer. Posted Image

We should start a club. The only thing I like about summer is when I go swimming. I love the water. Otherwise, summer sucks.

*Takes a swig of the bottle of rum and salutes them as well* Paysites for the Sims are illegal-- down with the Paysites!

The only thing that made TS3 playable for me up to Late Night was the Extended Game Core and NRaas-- EGC fixed bugs, fixed some of my FPS and CPU problems I was having with TS3, and let me put my mods in the Documents folder (like TS2), and as well sort the mods into folders. NRaas also fixed some bugs, but it also gave me another thing-- the ability to fix my Sims that I bred in-game.

TS3 was a complete failure to me-- the only thing I loved was the magic gnomes ninja-ing around my house and turning on the TV, or appearing in the fridge, etc., the control of voice, and when we got washing machines and dryers (I'm a freak-- I'd like, die of happiness if we could unload dishwashers too). The Sims reminded me of fleshy pudding-y cartoons (and their kids reminded me of gorillas and as well gave me nightmares on most occasions unless I immediately edited them with NRaas), the animations (to me) seem very kiddy compared to TS2. Open town (I'm sorry) was terrible-- all it did was make me lag, and it wasn't even worth it because unless you had a Ambitions career, you never got to see your Sims work, and I felt robbed when I couldn't see my Sim gal have her baby because I sent her to the hospital. Pool water looked like nasty Jell-O. And it didn't help that with every single expansion and update, the mods were completely broken and would take several days to sometimes a month to get them fixed, compared to TS2 where even if any mods got broken, they were fixable usually within 24-hours.

I also have a larger list, but for the sake of how off-topic I'm going, I'm leaving it there.

To avoid going off-topic, I won't say much, just that I agree with you almost entirely. I loved the interactions kids and parents had, and the ability to tell people if you saw their SOH cheating, the interacting with ghosts; that, I loved.

But let's get back on-track.
Have a Fenris.

@D-D

Getting back on topic...

So, you play a elf-Hawke (assuming from your awesome!prompt)? I'm so jealous of you PC* users-- I'd love to play as an elf in DA2 simply because the fact the gals are so perfectly short! Are the animations wacky for like kiss scenes?

*Clearly is hoping for an ultimate edition later on and is going to get it for the PC.

I'm not sure. I actually haven't romanced Fenris with my Elf!Hawkes as of late; it's been all Human!Hawke/Anders (it's hard getting back into the Human Hawke groove...), and most of my time was spent squeeing ("Oh my god it's so adorable! SQUEEEEEEEEE~"( Maybe I'll put the mod back in tomrrow and go through it again to see. :)

Daww. I missed like 4 pages. I threw up a little at pride and prejudice talk though. I have an absolute hate for that book. Ugh. Nothing against anyone though I have personal trauma and history with mr. Darcy. *shudder*

Wuthering heights, however... that is one of my fav books. Heathcliff all the way. I suppose you can compare fenris to many characters in literature, but honestly he never reminded me of anyone but himself. His character is well written and I love to just over analyze him muahaha. He is quite unique actually.

I was suddenly inspired.

The Warden
Nirvana Amell: So...I'm related to...an elf?
Faline: It would seem that way. -nervous laugh-
Nirvana: ...How?!
Faline: Well, ah...I'm sure it's not very strong, you look like a typical shem- sorry, human. And I've seen half-elves before. Minus the ears they look very elven.
Nirvana: -raises an eyebrow as Faline continues to ramble; whispers to Fenris- Is she always like this.
Fenris: Yes.
Faline: ...oh. Was I rambling again?
Nirvana: By the Void- How did you hear me?
Faline: -looks cross, but adorably so- I have these. -points her ears-
Nirvana: ...somehow I imagined the Champion being more...
Faline: Impressive?
Fenris: Mature?
Faline: Hey! -flicks Fenris' ear; turns back to Nirvana- Pretty? I hated it when Varric exaggerated me looks...his stories spread like wild-fire, too...
Fenris: Tall?
Faline: Will you stop insulting me?
Fenris: Intellegent?
Faline: Stoooop! You are absolutely, positively the worst boyfriend in the Thedas! Ooh, I hate you, you big meanie! Why are you always... -begins to become incoherent-
Nirvana: ...is she okay?
Fenris: Theatrics. She spent to much time around certain dwarven story-teller...
Nirvana: ...I think she's crying.
Fenris: She's good at that.

-0-
Fenris and Faline are so immature around each other. Well, Faline's immature period. Rivalmanced!Fenris is a bit of an ass, yeah? xD

Also, working on a Fenris/M!Hawke video to The Script's Exit Wounds. I /would/ do a Faline/Fenris one, but...I can't record my game. Which hinders my ability to do Let's Plays, but whatev.

I've never tried the elf mod on da2. I actually prefer hawke as a human even though I do love my elf warden.

Also, fenris being silly and immature... why can't I see this? I wonder if in time sarcastic hawke brings out more of his humorous side. I just never picture him as the teasing type. Then again I embrace his hateful rage side so im weird like that. My hawke says "that hate may be poison but its made you strong. Embrace it, twist it, use it to its utmost advantage. Like your markings."

D: Raeg!Fenris scares me (and Faline. x3) As she would say, "Anger leads to hate, and hate leads to darkness. And frankly, I'm scared of the dark."
(Which eminds me. Rivalmanced!Anders gets briefly control by Justice for a moment in one talk and says Hawke has "given into Sloth." When I heard that, I thought, "And then Faline retorted, 'And you have given into Rage nd Desire, you filthy demon! Now get out of my friend!' Cuz she's all like that."

I easily imagine it; him being straight-faced and all SRS BZNZ and Faline would take hm seriously for moment. Fenris is more then willing to joke around (just look at his banters with Varric.) As long as Silly!Hawke isn't being an outright ass (like s/he can be at times; "Wanna Sandwich" comes to mind...) he seems good with it.

Don't get me wrong.. one of the best things about fenris is his deadpan humor. I just never see him as trying to be funny more like he just is funny. I just don't see him laughing and teasing hawke. Maybe in time but his laughter is so hollow, and I love that, but also wonder if in time he could actually joke around and laugh genuinely.

As for rage, I love his rage. I get all giddy when he kills hadrianna. I love his outbursts. I love having him there to kill keldor, torture gascard. During his scene after hadrianna when he goes off my hawke just stands there and ****s her eyebrow, listens to his rant/anger then goes "you done?" Honestly, fenris never is angry at hawke and my hawke likes to be the one he rages to. It allows her to see more of who he is under that stoicness, and she isn't scared she knows how hard it is to wear a mask and keep all that emotion under wraps. It makes her love him even more, lol.

Maker yes.

Baby-sitting

Fenris: How did you get us wrapped up in this again?
Faline: Aveline and Donnic wanted a night out...
Fenris: And as usual, you volunteered yourself for an impossible task.
Faline: Hey, it's not that bad! It's just two kids. How evil could they be compared to all those years with Carver...

A few hours later...
Fenris: What was it you said?
Faline: Shut up.
Fenris: 'It's not so bad. It's only two kids.' Isn't that what you said?
Faline: Shut up.
Fenris: And now you've burnt Aveline's house down.
Faline: We're all alive, aren't we?
Kid 1: MY DOLLY IS STILL IN THERE!
Faline: ...Fenris, we are never having children.
Fenris: Agreed.

The Blade of Mercy

Fenris: (cleaning his sword) I never asked how you found this.

Hawke: At that warehouse where the conspiritors were meeting. I'm surprised that they actually store things in those warehouses, I always thought they were for secret meetings.

Fenris: (chuckles) I'm surprised that a Blade of Mercy found its way out of Tevinter. I wonder how it got here?

Hawke: Perhaps someone ordered it and it just so happened to end up in that particular warehouse.

Fenris: I'll guess we'll never know what happened.

Meanwhile at the Gallows

Meredith: Has there been any word on my order?

Cullen: Unfortunately Knight-Commander, the exporter reports that your new sword was lost.

Meredith: Lost? What am I supposed to do? (Gestures at The Idol sitting on her desk)  Make a sword out of my paperweight?

Hrmm, there was a tattoo mod out there for TS2 that wasn't a skintone...similar to a facial paint. I'd probably do something similar.

*sigh* I know. I'm trying to keep hope alive, but the fact is that TS3 is pretty much a failure to me. There are some things I like about it (e.g. events and forming your own band), but there are too many that I absolutely hate. I think EA has effectively killed off all the good Maxis games.

She's still awesome though. I know that she's an unstable, mad lady that hates mages, but I still like her for some reason. Maybe because she's more consistent than Orsino? Or maybe it's her voice? I do like Orsino more than Meredith (the voice acting pulls me in I think), but I like Meredith's character. She didn't become knight-commander by chance, she's a strong woman. I liked Orsino to the point where he became a Harvester. I was just like "DUDE WE WERE WINNING WTF WHY ARE YOU ATTACKING _ME_?" It was just rather inconsistent and put me off. I also liked his voice acting (especially when he was flirting a little with my Hawke) which just made it all the harder.

I admit, if Meredith told me "Hey! You! Join our side! Now!" at that point, I would've done it if only because I have such a deep respect for her. I'm also a little scared of her too.

Yeah...I had an oh s..t moment the first time I saw that scene. :o

She's barking at the moon by Act 3 (Anders said it best, I think), and for that reason, I don't like siding with the Templars because of her, but I like to think at least Cullen would be a better Knight Commander when all is said and done.

*wanders off into head!canon land to figure out just how, specifically, canon!Hawke would come to that decision...*

The only thing about Orsino is that his voice actor is also Captain Qwark.

Anyway:

Babysitting

The Hanged Man

Varric: Elf I need you to do me a favor.

Fenris: The last time you asked me for a favor Aveline nearly threw me in jail.

Varric: Look, trying to own the Hanged Man is one thing, what I'm asking is a different thing entirely.

Fenris: What is it?

Varric: The rest of the Tethras clan is in town to handle Bartrand's departure from the Merchant's Guild, what I need you to do is to watch my nephew.

Fenris: Couldn't you ask someone else to do this?

Varric: Hawke already helped me with Bartrand, I'm not going to ask her.

Fenris: What about Merrill or Isabela?

Varric: Daisy can barely keep track of what she's saying let alone watch the kid. Rivaini's nice and all but I'd rather not scar the kid for life. And before you ask Aveline would probably knock my teeth out before I could ask her.

Fenris: (dejected)  Fine.

Varric: Thanks elf, I owe you one.

Two hours later

Nephew: Do you know any stories?

Fenris: No.

Nephew: Uncle Varric tells the best stories. One time...

Fenris: Be silent.

Nephew: Do you want to play a game?

Fenris: I doubt that I know of any children's games.

Nephew: I know how to play Diamondback.

Fenris: Very well. Let's play.

A few hours later

Hawke: Care for a drink Fen?

Fenris: I can't.

Hawke: Why's that?

Fenris: I lost all of my coin to Varric's nephew in a card game.
