That art is very smexy. But my literal-minded-ness can't help but point out that it is also inaccurate. Fenris wouldn't use a wine glass. He only drinks Denarius's expensive wines right from the bottle.

I need help.

I beg to differ. If fenris had a wine glass im sure he would use it. I doubt any fine crystalware was left in the mansion. A few wine bottles meh but not the crystal! So, yeah I totally see fenris with a wine glass.

Also, blade of mercy is so a 45"

I like to think Hawke could give Fenris some wine glasses as a gift.
Of coarse since if you rival someone their gift scenes become more... err, heated, delicate glass may be one of those 'seemed like a good idea at the time' gifts...

Fenris: Am I your charity project now?
Marric: What? I got you wine glasses, you like wine
Fenris: If I needed glasses I would get them on my own, I don't need your gifts of pity
Marric: My gifts of...? I'm just trying to be nice you git! You know what? Fine. Don't take the glasses, or add them to your broken glass collection.
Fenris: Fine!
Marric: FINE!

Of coarse once Hawke storms out I imagine Fenris would keep them anyway and not let Hawke know till years later.

LOL, I love rivalry gifts. The book is my favorite only because I freakin' crack up.. in my head it goes like this...

Fenris: Is that what this is? Let's teach the poor slave to read!?

Hawke: It's my new outreach program.. you know.. the center for slaves who can't read good? So your welcome.

Fenris: Yes, thank you for reminding me of something I can never do.

Hawke: Well, you haven't been a slave for years. Besides, I have Varric working on getting me a building right now.. except the building he showed me was like.. a CENTER FOR ANTS!

Fenris: Am I not learning your ways quickly enough? Bah, ignore me you are not responsible for my deficiencies, I do appreciate your gift. I've always wanted to learn more of Shartan, perhaps this is my chance.

Hawke: Excellent, my center for slaves who can't read good has it's first customer! Now I just have to get Varric to find me a place... I mean, how could I teach slaves how to read if they couldn't even fit inside the building..! I told him to find me a building at least 10 times that size!

I crack up laughing at that scene because I can't NOT see/hear that conversation in my head.. the whole "Is that what this is..?" line just makes me instinctively go "why yes! it is my new Hawke reading rainbow!" My sarcastic side can't help but react to rival gifts.

I imagine Fenris just throws his dirty dishes out the window rather then clean them.
Wine glasses would not be spared.

I see him just leaving them somewhere in the kitchen, uncleaned... the smell between them and the rotting corpses elsewhere in the mansion must be impressive. Posted Image

...why do we not get the option to to somehow distract him away from the mansion and then clean the place top to bottom?  ... but then, he'd probably consider that a "charity for the poor ex-slave" too. Posted Image

Errand

Faline: Fenris! -tries not to falter from the smell-
Fenris: Yes?
Faline: Will you do an...ah..an errand! For me. Please?
Fenris: What kind of errand?
Faline: I need some...elfroot. For...potions. Yeah. They're...uh...on the Wounded Coast!
Fenris: ...alright.
Faline: And, uh...take Varric and...and...someone else.
Fenris: Faline, you're acting strangely.
Faline: Wh-what? Me? Strange? Acting? No, no!
Fenris: ...whatever you say. -walks off-
Faline: Oh thank the Maker. -pulls out disinfectant, rags, gloves, and a feather duster-

A few hours later
Varric: Why on earth would Hawke want us to go to the Wounded Coast for elfroot?
Fenris: Don't ask me. I just work here.
Varric: She does remember that it's full of bandits, yes?
Anders: You should probably get those plants to Faline before something happens to them.
Fenris: -sighs; walks towards his mansion-

Faline: -sets down the broom and collapses in a chair, panting- Finally done!
Fenris: -shocked- ...Faline? What did you do?
Faline: I...uh...I cleaned...?
Fenris: ...
Faline: ...and I started lunch in the kitchen. I figured you'd be hungry after...y'know, getting me that deathroot.
Fenris: You said elfroot.
Faline: O-oh, I did? That's, uh...what I meant!
Fenris: This was all just some ploy to get me out of the house so you could clean and do more charity for the poor ex-slave, wasn't it?
Faline: Weeeell...you've got it partly right, I mean I did pay Varric to go with you and keep his mouth shut and this mansion was disgusting and it smelled soooo bad and dear Maker did you ever remove those corpses from six years ago and that kitchen was a mess, I don't understand how you could eat, and there was broken glass everywhere and the walls were stained with wine and it was grating my nerves so I had to do something about it but I knew you wouldn't let me so I had to trick you. -takes a deep breath-
Fenris: ...
Faline: But I didn't do it as charity. I did it for you. Because...well...uhm, you could get sick from mold and stuff and it was everywhere, so.... You...Idon'twantyoutogetsickallright?!
Fenris: Right. So I can continue protecting you when you do something reckless in battle.
Faline: ...Maker, if you haven't figured out I do these things because I care about you in all this time, I give up.

Blade of Mercy Redux:

Fenris: (tosses The Eye of of the Storm to Hawke) For you.

Hawke: (examining the staff) This looks familiar.

Fenris: It was Danarius' most prized possession. He fasioned it out of  the spear of one of the Arishoks we encountered during the Seheron campaign.

Hawke: You want me to wield your former master's staff?

Fenris: It is but a weapon, the one who wields it controls it's intent. Besides I never properly thanked you for my sword.

Hawke: An ironic gift for an ironic gift?

Fenris: I'd like to think that having the weapon that was by his side for years in the hands of the woman who helped kill him is a most excellent insult.

Hawke: I'd have to agree.

Danke! :D

I just actually wrapped up Fenris's birthday party, and made some more .gifs from the day before and the party (and these ones are good quality), as well got a couple of screens.

I put him with a Family aspiration (on primary) and Pleasure aspiration (on secondary).

Day before:
Marian & Fenris -- Hug
Marian & Fenris -- Pillow Fight
Marian & Fenris -- "Kiss Kiss Darling"
Fire, Marian, Feanor, & Fenris -- Waterballon Fight; Team Fenris & Marian FTW (Took out Fire and then went directly for Feanor)

Morning of B-Day:
Fenris -- "OM, NOM, NOM! Pancakes!"

B-Day Party:
Marian & Fenris-- "classic Dance": In higher quality, with more twirls and people smustling in the backround! :D
Fenris-- Aging Up (A.K.A. OMG, what happened to your hair?!)
Marian & Fenris-- Dancing together (Not as cute as it used to be! :crying: Must age Marian up!)

So now I'm off to the Hawkes to get Marian up to a teenager.

Alright, I'm back now from Marian's B-day party, and come with more screens and gifs!

The evening before:
Fenris & Marian -- "Spinning Around" (Right by the solar panels-- you guys are geniuses)
Marian & Altair the Kitty -- Kitty gets love.

Next night-- The Party:
Fenris & Marian -- Last hug Fenris has to give to "short" Marian
Marian -- Aging Up
Fenris -- He looks so excited by that bag of chips... which he just took from the Hawke fridge. [1] [2]
Fenris & Marian -- Dancing together (These kids have moves!)
Merle, Ezio, Fenris, & Marian -- The Legacy House parents are terrible influences-- too bad the teens aren't paying attention.
Fenris & Marian -- Malcolm came home and turned Marian into a witch. Fenris seems not to notice.

Bonus:
Ezio, Fenris & Marian -- Ezio looks oddly excited... Perhaps he's pleased that Fenris has friends that are his age again? ;)

Oh, I'm working on it. I'm just in the process of deciding if I want to do mass family vacation (which is I send the Legacy House, direct relatives, and close family friends to the Legacy House's massive house out on the tropical area, and let them all get their relationships up so the family knows each other, and family friends stay family friends. The Hawkes qualify as family friends) or just simply send them out on dates.

Yup.

Guests don't hog my TV-- they dance until they pass out. Or pee themselves. Or get hungry.

A vacation would be awesome, but dates would be just plain adorable.  I LOVE sending my sims on dates.
Can you imagine them holding hands over a table? Fenris giving a toast? FOOD FIGHTS?! -dies-

Immediately what came to mind: Hawke drags Fenris along to another boring noble party... and then this happens:
...I actually tried sketching out what I thought would happen, but my quick sketches are horrid... the video is much better. Posted Image

Ooo, too late. I already shipped them off for vacation. Well, Leandra, Malcolm, and Marian, and Ezio, Merle, and Fenris. Primarily because Ezio set up the vacation, and has all of the Hawkes as his friends... but Carver. So the real kiddies stayed home.

Also, a second reason is I did something bad-- I deconstructed the vacation house. Mainly because it hasn't been used since C-Gen (D-Gen was no fun whatsoever exception to Danyla constantly beating the snot out of Danarius, and allowed no fun with their kids, exception to when Ezio and Etain constantly snuck out), and when the heiress of C-Gen (who owned the vacation house) died, instead of passing the house to the D-Gen heir, she gave it to one of the other two kids (who were off-lot by then). So I had her go sell off the vacation house, and went over to clean out newspapers and re-do one of the bedrooms ('cause I got a nice new shiny bedroom set that I love to pieces) before I had Ezio buy it again for the Legacy.

The set up of the massive house was pretty much four houses, one house for Legacy House, and one each for all the other people that come. I liked it when I built it, and I love it for college, but otherwise, I didn't like it anymore. So I tore it down and spent the last few hours rebuilding the place from ground up. I like it much better now. :D

So right now, everyone there is sort of the testers for the *new* vacation house. I wonder if I can send Sims out on dates while they're on vacation... must try, but right now I'm taking a break because one section of the house wouldn't set up right and I was about to put my fist through the screen until I figured out what was wrong and felt extraordinarily stupid.  I sent them over to the vacation area already though, so when I'm not so feeling "Let's find a random Sim to trap in the pool", I'll pick it up.

=Edit=

I had a spell-fail.

I put "felling" instead of "feeling". *Beats head into desk*

I know how you feel about building. I once did a Legacy with the Capulets from Veronaville (SHAKESPEARE FTW!) and I spent days - days - making their ginormous four-story mansion. Then when I was done, I tore it all down and rebuilt it. Twice. I still have that neighborhood saved on my flashdrive...I remember, I attached I big greenhouse to it with rusty spiral stair cases. And an indoor pool. An entire room made for hobbies. -sigh- Good times...

I eagerly await the pictures. Vacations are always such fun. >3

Hello Fenris-Thread!

I was wondering your opinion on Fenris/Isabella. If neither of them romance Hawke, they will talk about their hook-ups in banter. More then once. (Learned this when my F!Hawke romanced Anders exclusively)

I looked up the dialog:

* Isabela: That night...I can't stop thinking about it.
* Fenris: Well, then I'll see you later.
* Isabela: That was direct.
* Fenris: I thought I'd get straight to the point. Were you expecting flowers or something?
* Isabela: Don't be absurd.
* Fenris: Then I'll see you tonight.

What does the Fenris Thread think of this? I know Isabella eyeballs Fenris as soon as she meets him, but I wonder how this gels with his "Will not romance Hawke unless sure Hawke doesn't want anyone else" attitude. It seems like a double-standard. Hawke doesn't get to ask him if there's anyone else HE wants...
