Their expressions are fantastic. I like the background too. Gives a really good "motion" feel. As if Fenris just rushed in and grabbed him mid-battle.

Finally finished my Fenris Portrait... dear maker... I didn't realize how nervous I would be posting it, LOL. I really put my all into it. Hope it is worthy of our favorite elf.

No need to be nervous, Arquen. You nailed it. Well done!

ETA: I find my canon in a bit of flux right now depending on the DLC and its results. The warrior Snarky Hawke is getting restarted for sure (no loss there - she's still fairly early in act I so I may just need to reload a recent save).  I think I will do the DLC in Act 3 with Aniya just to see what it implies/shows there and decide if I need to adjust the canon PT by restarting it. 

And my husband will be back to doubting my sanity. I at least explained, truthfully, that I am using fanfic as a writing exercise (it's the first thing I've really felt comfortable sharing/writing consistently, and he's been encouraging me to just write something, if it interests me so much, for practice's sake). At least he seems to 'get' my tendency for additional play-throughs now. (It was that part that he completely didn't 'get'.)

I went back to my canon as well to see if there were changes I would want but without knowing the dlc im not sure what to change.

Ill keep a backup pt just in case, but I will probably play the dlc more than once. As for writing I find fanfic and roleplays to be excellent writing exercises. In fact I have yet to finish my fenfic story that im working on. I find fanfic just for fun but it also gives you room to develop style and voice. Like art, the more you practice the better you get. Plus who doesn't love good fenfic??

Yeah...hubby is doing some short story work of his own (taking his own advice), so that part, he completely gets. That and we have been RPing together for years. Ah, nerd love!

It is. That just tugs at the heartstrings. Of course, I also deeply admired what she did with Alistair, particularly the deleted scene bit she did in collaboration with David Gaider. (not that I didn't love the funny stuff - I did - but I almost cried when I read that one. In the middle of a coffee shop. And I am not a spring chicken.)

On a lighter note, the chest off is hysterical. If you haven't viewed it I recommend it. (Honestly it's times like this that I miss the DA:A Anders.)

If you use mods you can see it in-game as well. The author tried to keep it as close to what DG mentioned.

Ahh, I miss my old roleplays I used to do. It was so much fun stepping into the voice of a character and acting/writing them. I haven't done that in years. Hell, I haven't written/drawn/done fanfic in years and here I am doing all 3. I must thank Bioware (I almost typed Fenris, lmao). Now that I think about it though. I should thank Fenris too for being such an excellent character to inspire me so.

Holy crap I've degenerated to fangirl spew. Kill me now >.<. Oh who am I kidding I've always been obsessive from LOTR to certain anime to book series to actors (both male and female).

I loved that comic bit by Aimo. Alistair being my absolute favorite, and Morrigan a second fav that scene would have been epic in game. Such a shame they cut it.

Makes me wonder how much they had to cut from DA2 at times. Then again I would go crazy imagining such things.

 Quick question - I know we have some Zevran fans here, and the old Zev thread doesn't look that active anymore, so I'll ask here too.

Does anyone know if the romances have been patched so that Zevran acknowledges them? It's not a deal killer for my Amell playthrough, but it would be fun for head canon purposes for the Hawke mage I intend to pair with that import. (Romancing Fenris of course - haven't decided if as friend or rival yet.)

I..don't know. I honestly don't have a DA:O save for DA2 that is a Zev romance. The ones I have currently are an F!Amell who is King's Mistress, a M! Cousland who left with Morrigan, and a M!Brosca who is bedding Leliana(who hasn't finished the game yet). I do have a F!Mahariel started that will be a Zev-mance, but that requires playing DA:O...
