XD  I melt every time I look at it, so hey.  But yeah, at one of the viewpoints in Legacy, Fenris had a comment for me, and after the little scene ended, he was standing right beside my Hawke.  And I realized that when he turned to check over his shoulder, as he does, his arm went around Hawke's . . . 

So naturally I had to screencap it.  Too cute.  

I also got one where it looks like they're holding hands, here:

I wonder if it only triggers if you play during act 3 (ince I played at the end of act 2, after the flounce but before the airshock disaster goes down)? And if so, that would mean Hawke and Fenris haven't spoken in 3 years... o_o

It really sucks when you are a Zev fangirl, and then the cameo is all glitchy and not there and he has no dlc, so you think okay guys, here if your chance with another super sexy bi elf boy, and it's all fail. The DLC was awesome and I suppose they needed to give us something to complain about but c'mon, give the M!elf lovers a break, throw us a bone.

Personally, I suspect that it isn't a glitch. I think, because of the way the Fenris romance arc plays out, it would have been difficult to write lines that make sense at every point along the continuum of Fenris/Hawke's relationship. Take, for example, when you meet Zevran and Fenris pulls the jealousy card. If that triggers during the three-year break, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Likewise, some of the party banters about your romance.

So, I suppose I can understand why it was left out, even though it's disappointing.

My current peeve is that they couldn't include any Fenris romance stuff, but they managed to get in a Fenris/Isabela banter. Nothing against that pairing, but it kind of drove home the lack of Fenris/Hawke stuff even more.

They seemed to have no problem recognizing different relationship states for other characters though. If you romanced Sebastian and you're using an endgame save, there's a reference to the wedding. And of course, all of the other relationship conditions are recognized--dead/Warden/other sibling, for instance. And at other points in the game, Fenris' dialogue changes based on whether you've moved on and if so, with who.

In particular, it seemed strange that Anders should be the one to talk with me after the "Malcolm's Will" quest. I just had this huge reveal about my father--including that he was hoping I wasn't a mage, oops!--and I don't even get the awkward attempt at sympathy I got from my boyfriend after "All That Remains"? 

If there had been more reactive dialogue from Fenris in general, I might have felt better, but Fenris seemed oddly unresponsive in places I would have expected a reaction from him, especially toward the end. Corypheus looks at my party and says, "you're human". Yeah, except for the short, stocky guy with the chest beard and the shortish, heavily-armed guy with the pointy ears. Even if I wasn't playing a mage Hawke, shouldnt Corypheus have assumed Fenris was my slave? And then when Corypheus says he's a Tevinter Magister and we should all kneel to him, Fenris has absolutely no reaction? Even more than the lack of romance-specific dialogue, that just felt off to me.

Friendmanced LI endgame Sebastian had the wedding acknowledged, apparently it was beautiful (damn Bioware doing it offscreen arggggg!), very nicely in my opinion. Rivalmanced Seb flirted with Bethany instead...there is a rumour of a kiss after this flirtation between F!Hawke and Seb, but I have not got it to trigger for either of my rivalmanced Sebs. So I think the kiss thing was a troll.

Friend Fenris was in the party and I got a fair amount of information out of him concerning Tevinter magisters and the origin myth of the Black City as he cynically believes it to be told in Tevinter Chantry.

I was just going to do a run through with my friendmanced Fenris and see what happens, but you may have just put me off that...

Hrm. Well, I'm both disappointed that there's romance dialog that isn't triggering AGAIN (I'm a Zev romancer too) and pleased that it at least exists. So long as it gets fixed. I had heard beforehand that there was going to be romance related banter and was particularly excited for that aspect, only to not have anything remotely related pop on a playthrough and a half so far apart from Varric's "I've got to warn you, she's no virgin". I was starting to be afraid that that's all there was in acknowledgement of your romance. 'Cause that line's worth a chuckle, but hardly personal.

Sadly, that's not a romance dialogue.  It can be obtained with a non-romanced Fenris.  And really, I'm just as glad - it's a terrible enough thing for Anders to say without him comparing Danarius and Hawke as lovers.  XD

Actually this isn't broken, I got it on my last PT where I friendmanced Anders and rivaled Fenris without sleeping with him.

See, that's curious. I got this dialog today, but distinctly different. It went (to the best of my memory) like this:

Fenris: Ran away from the Circle, ran away from the Wardens... it sounds like a habit.
Anders: And YOU ran away from Danarius.
Anders: Maybe we're more alike than you think.
Varric: I've always thought so.

Didn't get that "Running away from your family, straight to Danarius. Running away from Danarius, straight to Hawke." line at all. It makes me wonder what triggered the different version. I was in the middle of Act 2 and had romanced Fen. Perhaps that's just an Act 3 line that triggers after you find out about Varania and the "boon" deal?

Just as an FYI, you can gain friendship and rivalry points in the DLC. I got friendship points from both Anders and Fenris for siding with Liaris the first time. I got friendship points from both Anders and Fenris and rivalry points from Varric for siding with him the second time. Then the final conversation with Anders, if you say, "the chantry might be right about other things." you get 5 rivalry points from Anders. Don't know about the second option. Oh, not sure how many on the first Liaris, but is was 5 across the board on the second.

Edit:  Forgot, you get 10 friendship points from both Anders and Fenris for defiling Dumat's altar.

It's most likely because at that point, Anders doesn't know Fenris' sister is a mage, so he doesn't have the notion in his head that Fenris hates mages because he's jealous of his mage sister whom Fenris couldn't even remember.  The difference is probably triggered by Alone, not because of Hawke's romance state, but simply because after Alone, Anders has another thing to hold against Fenris, no matter how ridiculous it happens to be.

He can't comment on Fenris 'running away from his family' (because setting them free from slavery is totally running away) when he doesn't know the first thing about Fenris' past, pretty much.  All he can comment on is Fenris' escape from slavery.

I didn't get this in any of my runs!  Fen/Anders/Varric x3 plus some other combinations. I am disappoint. I am outrage. I am...sigh

I played the DLC with Fenris romanced and I didn't notice any romance lines. In fact, Fenris was pretty quiet. The only banter with Fenris, was with Varric about cards, other than that not much. I thought he might say something at the end when we meet Corypheus. I was surprised when he didn't. I wanted to turn around and say "Say something, Fenris come on I know you want to.":devil: It was disappointing when he didn't.  :unsure:But overall I'm glad I got the DLC.

Thank you posting the link. I really liked Legacy and thought it was strange there was no comment from Fenris/companions considering the amount of dialogue that it had been recorded but tossed it off to Fenris... well being Fenris. Looking foward to know if it is bugged or not .
