Some time in act1 I'm sure they must have gotten into a yelling match once, kind of a "This is what I am, it's not going to change and I'm not going to apologise or feel guilty about it!"

But yeah bringing out magic in front of Fenris while arguing with him is most likely a TERRIBLE idea. But if Marric stops joking around when he's angry he's beyond thinking about the other person's feelings or if they'll misinterpret him.

Sigh,even though I have been through his romance so many times I still miss him when I'm doing a playthrough where he is not Hawke's LI. I'm even thinking about doing ANOTHER playthrough just so I can romance Fenris AGAIN I wish there were more romance scenes with Fen, I just cant get enough of him.Its Alistair all over again but even more fangirl foolishness.

Can I just say this is the exact same reason I love rivalmancing Fenris as a mage. And, that is just exactly how it played out with my own Mage!

So has it been confirmed that the LI dialogue is glitched, I got nothing from Fenris, I'm doing another playthrough with a post-save in hope that it pops up?

Huh.  Maybe I'll try to make my way through Legacy when they fix the romance glitches, because...  I really, really, really hate the combat.  I mean, really.  I downloaded it yesterday, and I still haven't finished.  Some added Fenris mush would make it worthwhile.  Maybe.

im so happy they looking into the situation did 2 different playtrough on two different character that was romancing fenris 1 friendmance they other rivalemance, on the first playtrough i brought my sister/varic and fenris on the second isabela/merril and fenris, and still nothing trigger i was like,,, am i doing something wrong,,, lol i guess not ! XD

Lizzbee, you boggle my mind. Is there anything at all you like about the game outside of Fenris? The combat isn't different then any other part of the game, except stuff doesn't explode and the waves are more consistent and less "jump-off-roof"..ee.

That was exactly the kind of thing that I was expecting, romance or not, and didn't get. 

I got that dialogue when I took Fenris, Aveline and Anders with me.
After the end battle you find an amulet and Anders is all 'So he really was a Tevinter magister!' and Fenris says a few things about the fact that the magisters would take on the Maker himself if it would grant them more power (or something like that).

Well then... I see you guys have gotten full on into Legacy chat. LOL... glad I avoided the forums until my playthrough.

Also, boooo on the romance bugs! Booo I say! I have like 5 romanced Fen playthroughs so I'm going to try a few combos but I figure I'll just save my canon for when they have told us one way or the other about the romance bug.

I found Fenris more sociable and charming in this one. Him and Varric seem to be getting along well. Him and Isabela too, LOL. He makes a lot more jokes, and even though he is still his usual Fenris self he almost is *dare I say* NICE to Anders. Well... as nice as "he's going to kill us all! Crazy Abomination!" can get. Lmao.

Great DLC... and YAY I can finally go back to the forums now!

I did with just Hawke and Fenris. Save right before The Last Straw with Hawke and Fenris made up. (rivalrymance) Romance was still ignored completely.

And this is why I would contemplate switching to PC. There's at least this potential option. We consolers are out of luck in that regard, so here's hoping they do fix/patch it.

ETA: I'm enjoying it greatly so far - even if the romance is bugged (and hoping they fix it) - if they do more DLC like this, I can reasonably say I'd buy it. Nice!

When I played my Fenris romanced Hawke, it was post game end, he barely spoke at all.  That's why I was wondering.  He was much quieter than the other companions. I might have to re-start my abandoned Hawke:?  I don't even remember if that Hawke was male or female:O it's been so long.  Oh well, I have yet to use Anders in the DLC so he's first up.

Hawke: We've got a gang of blood mages terrorizing the docks.

Malcolm: (stands up and grabs staff)  Maker's Breath, more of them? And to think that this used to be a nice neighborhood.

Varric: The Champion and her father saving Kirkwall from blood mages? I could write about that.

Fenris: Or you could come and fight instead of spending the whole night drinking.

Varric: (walking out with the party) I don't spend the whole night drinking elf, I also tell tales and beat you at cards.

I did it from Act 1.  It's a bit tougher here.  I started this right before Shepherding Wolves (near the end) and got a couple of extra levels.  Also, instead of Varric telling Garvis, "She's no virgin."; Varric says, "I wouldn't recommend it.  Blood's full of diseases and stuff." (paraphrase)  You can also get rivalry and friendship points.  I'll finish this play through and then run another and start from Act 2 to see how this goes.
