Ryz: Legacy actually cemented my dislike for Templar Carver.
Also, Anna didn't start out self-loathing. Bethany's death began a long slow slide into self hatred.

*Considers getting an Aniya/Fenris commission from one of our wonderful artists here. Is anyone who does them willing to work from an "XBox screenshot" of her?(
Certainly.I may have missed this before I joined the thread, but I'm struggling with one particular (but fairly pivotal) chapter of my fic. I keep starting it and deleting the file because I don't like it. If, when I get it to FF, I provide a link, would those of you who are so inclined be willing to 'alpha read' it? (And if this is a horrible breach of FenThread ettiquite, LMK
).

Yikes a mage Sia?
My anti-mage freedom mage isn't self hating...but he is very hypocritical. I like him. He's fun. Magister in the making.

Haha, the fellow in my avatar is a rather hypocritical mage!Hawke (who of course romanced Fenris), but he's also really nice - he just firmly believes that the Circle system is necessary. For other mages. He doesn't need it, of course, because he knows he can resist the temptation to abuse his power or bargain with demons, but other mages? They need the support system of other mages, and the external observation and control the Templars provide. He does think that the system could use some improvement, to reduce the risk of abuse, but he doesn't know how to do it. He just doesn't think abolishing it completely would be the right thing.
So yes, he's a little prideful and hypocritical, since he thinks he (and his father, and Bethany) are the exceptions to a general rule of "mages should eb in the Circle." XD But he's got a good heart, and he's death on blood magic (he barely tolerates Merrill, and mostly because he's trying to shake sense into her) and generally supports the Circle system, so Fenris adores him.He does side with the mages in Act III, but mainly because he can see that Meredith is a complete lunatic, and, as I've said, he's nice. He can't stomach atrocities, no matter who they're committed by He did kill Anders, because he knew he couldn't trust Anders not to do something horrific again, but then he went and tried to save as many mages as he could, since he really couldn't blame them for Anders - he's more likely to blame himself, for not stopping Anders - despite a bad feeling in his gut telling him that this wouldn't lead anywhere good.
And of course, Fenris stayed beside him . . . <3

More like Danarius was a giant creeper.
Agreed.
Coupled with the weird, feminine gait and the cold killer voice - how could you not agree with this?
Hawke: F-Fenris?
Fenris: Yes?
Hawke: Why when Danarius walked down the stairs did I feel less like a woman?
Fenris: He did that to everyone.

Oh god I need brain bleach.....
Besides if that were true Danarius would have had a boner in his death scene. Watching Fen kill all those people.

And I'll just leave this Fenris-Glare from Legacy, I think it's from when he tells Anders that he doesn't know much about Magisters
As for the points, I would suggest checking out the Wiki article on Friendship/Rivalry(Or on Fenris himself) to figure out how to get maximum points for that first conversation after Bait and Switch. That's what I use.Fleshdress wrote...
Omg, I miss all the fun. Crazy trolls/ slightly delusionalrabidfans always come out to play when I am on a six hour roadtrip. My luck sucks.
My fave Hawke is my "magister" Hawke. He told Fen he was seeking nothing but that was a lie, he wants lots and lots of power, and a tatooed elf waiting for him at home... in bed. Which Fen is totes okay with, without bloodmagic thankyou cause my Hawke thinks only weak mages umph their power with blood. Nice is not a word I would use to describe him, insane maybe.
Meezy Alexy: Thank you ever so, I am actually running out of MHawke/Fen fics, and since they're my otp it makes for a rather sad shipper.
What point in act one do you think Fen should be recruited, I usually nab him right after Aveline but I wanted to wait this time, I am a M!ageHawke, and who should I bring with me on his quest to get the most dialogue. Wil I get more friendship points by using the flirt option, the diplomatic or sarcastic. Heeelllppp me. Please.

For my Amell who grew up in the Circle, it's easy to see her being pro-Circle and not hating templars, but it's really hard to reconcile playing a Mage Hawke who sides with the Templars for most of DA2. I can *sort* of see pulling a 180 and deciding to side with Meredith only after the Chantry explosion, but my one totally pro-templar game is with a rogue, who has Bethany's acceptance of life in the Gallows to make it a little less weird for me to understand.
I wish we could have seen even a little bit more of everyday life for Circle mages in Kirkwall.

That story is the absolutely the cutest, squishiest thing ever. I'm always sporting a huge grin whenever I read it and so much second hand embarassment. Hawke is simply adorkable in that fic and I can relate hard core. His thoughts were my thoughts back when I was single. So universally relatable. And Fenris is so well done. Actually all of it's well done. Love it!ReiSilver wrote...
uh, look here's Coffee, Black [Eventualy becomes NSFW but takes a while to get there] a modern AU about Fen, a Photographer and Garrett, a barista who paints in his spare time. I don't normally go for AU stories but this is so perfect and sweet, there are parallels drawn between game canon and the AU, Fen has white ink tattoos and is remarkably in character despite the different setting, Garrett is adorbly awkward and Isabela, Andy and Merrill take in on themselves to be his wingmen to try and get them together. I did fanartbut I fail because I forgot Fen's glasses.
