As for Fenris lines... geez.. what lines DON'T I like, LOL
I always choose the sarcastic Hawke option about "you could have offered me a glass..." too.
On my bro!Fenris playthrough I absolutely loved the drunk!Fenris response to sarcastic friend Hawke (instead of the flirt) Hawke says "Or too much wine..." and Fenris goes "this is the last one! I promise!" with an adorable drunky smile.
I love the rivalmance act 3 Hawke for 2 lines the "No need to go overboard with the thanks or anything..." (snarky Hawke) to get the eyeroll and the "about time you admitted that" aggressive line for the response "been waiting, have you?" *smirk*
Of course the diplomatic Hawke response on a rivalry when he walks away. Even if I am aggressive snarky hawke (and I rarely play diplomatic) I love that "As you wish..." Line SO much I can't resist.
OHoHo so many more. Depending on what kind of Hawke I'm playing I have my favorites, but really I love them all so much. His delivery is so well done on any of his lines it makes it hard for me to choose a "favorite" sometimes. Though if you go straight up sarcastic he smiles and laughs a lot more and totally does call you out on it in a rivalry. "Oh yes, joke... that's what your good at!" My Hawke is all *trollface* "u mad?" LOL.

I got no preview of what is actually in these packs. Anyone got pictures? Or know where I could find some? This itempack was very under the radar. I don't even know what to expect out of it other than some brief descriptions in the dlc menu.
The only thing I really use from my other DLC packs are the companion accessories and the Empress' sword, LOL. The armors just don't have the stats that I like, and the staff I use occasionally for Merrill or something, but most of the time I have the mages use the modded staff of parthalan I have.
I didn't much like the mage stuff in the first DLC. The Warrior stuff was nice, but I only have one warrior who actually wears it, LOL. Still doesn't beat out my modded champion gear though. I swear, if I knew how to mod equipment I would totally do it just to wear some of those skins.
But yeah... not really excited or rushing to buy an itempack. I want more story DLC and my damn Legacy Fix! *rabble rabble rabble*

I am okay with the staff nw that I put my own spin on it. You see the dogs are for Hawke and Fenris, the Feraldan dog and the little wolf. So romantic I know, Hawke ties them together and puts them on the staff. Fenris rolls his eyes and wonders at Hawkes maturity.

Did find the stats though, and do want this ring:
Band of Emancipation (Fenris, ring)
+1 to all attributes
+92 health
+824 attack
+12% physical damage
Improves with level up
You weren't kidding Flesh. That ring kicks butt. Also like the fact that Fiona, the Mac Tir (lol totally Loghain's new nickname!) and even Maric are mentioned in the DLC items. Plus is the Bard's Honor a nod to Katriel? Hmmm... I might change my mind about this pack after all.
Though I am now curious/horrified at a mage staff with dogs tied to it.

I dunno, I think the rogue outfit has potential but the warrior and mage look are a little... frumpy? (what's up with the neck line on the mage outfit? Looks unfinished) I'm not sure if I'll get it, though I can imagine Marric Hawke driving everyone up the wall drumming on the metal plates of the mage outfit, and yeah he would give the dogs on the staff nicknames after himself and Fenris, Possibly Marmar and Fenfen.
Marric: Look Fenris, he has a growly face just like you!
Fenris:...
Marric: Yes! That's the one!
I think the costume designer and I just have different tastes XP though I am curious what modders could do with the bases and different material/textures (just no animal prints, good lord I may never recover from seeing Isabela's outfit in leopard print *shudder*)

I do love the rogue one. Definitely agree... who knew the Mac Tir was so ~*~*Faabulllouuusss~*~
Still on the fence, bah. I do wish there were modding tools. Me and everyone else *sigh* I already have the recolor and mod for the rogue armors. I have a weapon skin mod that adds ambient glow to them. I even have the anthracite robes. I think the modders have done a fantastic job with what they have, but I still wish we had a toolset. It could be so much more....
Then again the general consensus seems to be that EA is just a money hungry company and is refusing to allow Bioware to release said toolkit because then they can't make money off of item packs. *shrug*

They are taking an awfully long time to release the toolset this time around. Don't worry EA you can still fleece poor shmucks like me. God ow I have to go and listen to Fen bear snarl at me about how I am evil and mageish. Honestly that scene right after helping himwith Danarius is probably the only time I ever really want to strangle him, he is not good at gratitude, at all.

Oh drat, I am just feeling tense towards lyrium lolli elf cause through my future seeing abilities I see my Hawke this playthrough is gonna be a little bi polar and I was hoping to play him mostly sane and friendmancing Fenris. But eh, rivalmance works too and then I can make him really unhappy by making him run with Merrill and Anders too. I wonder if he is capable of mage overload. Ah well if I wanna remain true to my Hawke this playthough he is promage and I want to take fen with me but still be... its all complicated but friendmancing is going to be too out there.

I wish I could mod, there is this armour set and... *sigh* It hurts to talk about even. Xbox is so mean sometimes. I like the Mage robes okay, now that I have seen the rogue outfit though? I do want. I am hoping the second tier armour also has a look of awesome. If there is second tier, now I have to go check. I find the armour for mage and warrior fit M!hawke kinda like the first rogue item in the first item pack did, and I always felt that armour made my Fem Hawke look fat, so I am concerned that it will frump up my females in this one too. All the companions stuff is pretty cool and now with both sets they all have a ring and necklace. So spoiled.

It probably doesn't speak well of me that I love that scene for rivalmance. Fenris is disatisfied and frustrated but Hawke has been around him so long they just accept that he's upset and not angry at them specifically. And again Fenris admits he is misdirecting his anger at Hawke.
...plus his growly tevinter is hot, my Hawke is all 'Oooo, do that again, whisper it in my ear~'

Lol, that last bit made me giggle, I could totally see sarcastic romanced Hawke saying that. Wrong scene though, I love the scene in act III in rival or friendmance. I was complaining about Act one where you just meet him and he is sniping. And Merrill is all sad face and even though I think she isn't very wise I still kinda want to cuddle her.

I'm doing a friendmance this time around, but I'm deviating a little with micro management. I picked Fenris up first thing (after Aveline) and when we got to his cutscene I totally trolled him.
The whole "you didn't seem to thrilled with me a second ago..." Ohoho... I didn't have another mage in my part because I love the "you are not Danarius, whether you are anything like him remains to be seen."
Besides how can you want to rage on him Fleshy... he says "I imagine I appear ungrateful. If so, I apologize, for nothing could be further from the truth." <-- seriously how can you be mad after that? Plus the embarrassed chuckle after "what a waste of a perfectly handsome elf."
not to mention this face alone is worth it...

Lol, I love the flirt in this part. I use it whether I plan on romancing him or not cause the chuckle is just too sweet. The apoogizing part make me roll my eyes and say I have a plus 15 rivalry coming up here that tells me you don't just appear ungrateful. I mostly just get a little irritated right off the bat, less after the adorableness and then a bit again because I tend to talk about Danarius and he tends to get a bit snappy all over again. In the subtitles he is supposed to say sorry but they cut that from the actual dialogue.
The problem is, I am trying really hard to stay in character as far Hawke being lust smitten right off the bat and taking Fenris everywhere with him, so though I have the miromanaging down pat I want to avoid it. I don't want to get stuck in the land of the neutral either though and I might because he likes and dislikes things all willynilly and because I am sarcasic/diplomatic instead of sarcastic/ agressive this go around he tends to adore me in convos and hate me on the field. Hoping the gifts give me the umph I need to firmly place him in the friendzone.
I have decided my fave no glowy kiss scene and dialogue with Fen is his, "They are trying to regain a Magisters lost property, namely myself." *Eye roll* Oh good sweet and fluffy lord that makes me grin like a mad thing it's so cute. All Hawkes glomp poor Fen from that moment on. He is the undisputed master of the eyeroll.
Checked the armour second tier and it looks just like first tier except better stats. Lazy.

That's the mage armor from the dlc for whoever's interested. I'll admit, the only thing I like about these sets is that the rogue set gives me more codex about the Mac Tirs, Maric and his love life and the rogue armor looks cool. Also you could give a ring to Fenris to wear and that's hilarious to me

The look carries over from one level set (early level) to the later level set. The mage set is.. eh I like the item pack one early set for mages BEST. That being said, the rogue set is fairly awesome looking.
The levels for the pieces are in between the other sets, so you -do- get to use the other peices if you have both sets. I just wish the Legacy set had better itemization on it so I could -use- it, because I love the warden look ;p
I haven't put on the warrior set yet, but dont worry, I will! Then I'll ss them.
Here's a shot of the Mage robes. I.. don't think I had any other peices on at that point yet. Its an early-game shot of an angel I made and then for some reason I didn't bother playing. It kind of suites early game, makes you look like a refugee! But, I'm not keen on the look for later acts. The staff is neet, with its double stone puppies tied into a big wooden crook. I gave it to Merrill ;p

I change my Hawke's clothes whenever I feel like it most days. For stats I definitely go to my champs gear, but there are so many good skins in game that I switch them out every once in a while.
As for my screenshot capability. It is part shutter cam screenshot paparazzi and part Fraps for anything I might want to cap. That particular screenshot came from a fraps. I was watching (yes I watch obsessively my vids to an unhealthy degree) the vid for my latest PT and I happen to pause on that face. I laughed myself silly. It is the *best* "oh crap" face ever. It is mid-chuckle right before he goes *ahem*
Gahh I might get the stupid pack... now I'm waffling more than Seb! <_<
Btw Heiden I love your Fenris inclusion in the pics. Especially that one where he is all "oh, new armor. nice. Let me get a closer look." When Fenris is invading my personal space I don't mind. Most of the time it is creeper Anders trying to sniff my hair or something.
by the way... just for you all and because we were on the eye-roll.... Oh god what have I done...

2h warriors need more good battle axes. I do so love a good axe. My DAO character was a DW rogue who started with longsword / dagger. Seeing how she was a noble, she went to dual longsword once she had the talent. In Awakenings, however, she got in touch with her inner barbarian and rolled with dual axes, which was the best IMO.
DA2 warriors need more battle axes. DA2 rogues need to be able to rock waraxes.

The rogue weapons in this pack are Axes, actually. I like them much better then the meat cleavers from the previous set ;p The sword/board is an axe as well. Its a shame they went with the mace for the two-hander though. I don't really like the way maces lay against the characters backs. Fenris looks out-right rediculous with a mace. Personally Its Fenris for great-swords because they look like him.
Long, lean and deadly

On topic, new item pack ring for Fen kicks butt. Off topic... What is up with that Staff! It's worse then the staff with the mop head on it! Bahahaha. Oh Bioware, you just love to see what I'll spend my money on, but the jokes on you, it's not my money! For serious though, you need to sit down and have a talk with your art team.
All the new weapons look strange. I'm not in hurry to pick it up. I have some nice item mods from Dragon Age nexus. They include items for the NPCs. New armors would be nice, and they don't have the shelves on the front.
But looking at the screenshots they look good. Having more armor is nice. Heck the game takes place over about 10 years, Hawke needs to change his/her look once in a while.
