What you said about Fenris is so true! I blame YouTube tooo! I never wanted to see or hear certain things. Thank goodness I haven't seen the scene you described. You are so right about that. I must never see it. I saw a rivalry case where he said something heartbreaking enough for me. When he was being handed over to Danarius. It was wierd, he looked like a mage and was carrying a staff on his back it looked like. You probably know the one I'm talking about. It was bad enough for me to see thaaaat one. I'm not going to go to YouTube anymore.

Also you can totally change your login if you wish. You have to have your original serial codes though to re-register your games to the new account.
1.) create a new account.
Then on your mcilhany account go to:
My games --> Register games --> remove registration on your games
Then log into your new account and you can re-register your games under the new name. Voila! I did this with my copies of DA:O and Awakenings because they were registered under my boyfriend's account and he doesn't use forums.
*chnstroke* I should do this for my DA2 and re-register it to my actual account... but then, would anyone recongise me if I was running around a Rosechyld instead of Heidenreich?
OO that means I could do that for my ME2 as well.

I was not about to post as my boyfriend's Warden -- I am Arquen pretty much wherever I go so that has become an attachment for me somewhat.
Also, I must share THIS
Completely reminded me of my first PT, and I about died laughing at "Witchcraft!" -- I was lmao. Oh my poor naive virgin mage first time DA2 playthrough. Such memories....

Your evil-grinning Fenris is the opposite of your sweet Fenris painting, Arquen. And I did revise what I said before: Fenris loooooves you
I gotta go for a bit, I'll be back later to read Heiden/Rosechyldes rivalry guide. Looking forward to it.

I -wish- I could write that well, seriously. I utterly blame DA2 and the people who love it for my sudden utter love for slash. Never let it be said that computer games don't teach you to love new things. Utterly. I feel like I need a cow, now. It's my word of the day.
I AM GOING TO WRITE, because I promised Berelinde, and I have to finish my Orzimmar chapter(s) and and.. Kirkwall high is suposed to be worked on and I NEED MUSIC and..

Philosophy is my thing. I absolutely adore it, and any character that adheres to my philosophical musing side is something I treasure. I was a Fengirl from the moment he first punched his fist through that captain in his opening scene, LMAO. Then I just over-analyze things to the point of insanity as well so this fandom is a good fit for me. Likewise the problem of Free Will and Freedom always intrigued me. I find DA2 and especially Fenris and Anders pique this interest. Honestly, the characters just "fit" for me. I love them.
The smirk in my avatar. I love it! One of the best Fenspressions (this is totally a word now) I ever saw. As I've said before the animator for Fenris' facial animations is my hero. I love the smirks, the smiles, the raised eyebrows, the angry face... all of it. Yet some of his faces make me just laugh at the sheer genius of them.
I should be writing something as well. I think drawing has drained some of my creativeness though. I can't seem to be happy with anything I'm writing. Hence I'm browsing Tumblr, doing some cleaning, rocking out to Fenris Playlist, and well.. stalking on the forums.

I know you're referring to the philosophical backdrop for Fenris' character, but the combination of these two sentences just made me laugh.
Not sure what philosophical school involves punching through people

“Great, she gets to tell you about us...” Carver muttered from his corner next to the one who'd called himself Fenris. She slid her eyes in his general direction, fully intent on giving her brother the bird via her eyes, but found herself pausing on the smirked lips of the handsome, green eyed bad-boy. She wondered silently if he owned a leather jacket. Bad boys usually did.
Also? Totally some tasty Zevran, for elf-loving-science.
No. We've a job to do, he tried to convince himself, to calm his urges. I am supposed to be angry at my dear La-la, not imaging her naked beneath me...
“Zevran!” he heard her hiss his name, and came back to the here-and-now a moment to late. He heard the tell-tail “Click!” of a sprung trap, and had naught but time to flinch as the explosion came. The pain that should have come after it did not. Was he dead? He must have been, because instead of screaming in the agony that should have come with the explosive trap, he felt nothing but light-headed. It took him several breaths before he realized that there was a weight pressed against his chest.
The after-ring in his ears slowly began to fade away, replaced with the sound of heavy breathing. He held his own breath, now that he knew that he still had breath to hold. The sound came from the weight against his chest, and after a moment, he moved his hands to see exactly, if what, was on top of him.
“Death feels quite a bit like a beautiful woman. I am, pleasantly surprised,” he whispered into the darkness.
He felt the weight begin to lift from him, and her voice came in a whispered answer full of emotion, “Zevran..”
He wove his arms around her middle, drawing her close to him, “My dear, it seems as if once again you have saved my life. You really aught to be careful, lest it become habit.”
I've been very Asyla Tabris-ee today

The red-haired elf untangled herself from the sandy-colored one, giggling. Angel would probably have rolled her eyes, but she knew exactly that feeling. The feeling of being with someone you loved with out question. Besides, they'd been apart for quite a while now, and she couldn't exactly blame the little fire-haired elf for assaulting Zevran Araiani in such a manor. Heck, even she thought he was hot, and she had Fenris.
After the untangle-ment was completed, Zevran stood tall, well as tall as an elf really can anyway, with his arm slung possessively around the smaller elf's hips. "This, my dear Champion, is the love of my life. My Warden."
The fiery-headed elf dipped in what would have been a curtsey had she been in a dress. She wasn't, she was clad in Wardens armor, the rogue's version made of leathers rather then the heavy plate her brother often wore. "Asyla Tabris. It's nice to finally meet you. Zev told me of how you two met. Did he really hit on you?"
Angel was impressed, the lithe little green eyed elf in front of her had a deep, breathy voice. She'd expected a higher tone, more like Merrill and other female elves she'd met over the years out of the Kirkwall Alienage. She bade herself answer the question, so with her easy smile and a light chuckle, she responded, "He did indeed. No worries though, my big, strong Fenris put him right in his place.. didn't you, love?"
Behind her the gravely voice of her lover rumbled through her shoulders as the answer came, "I didn't have to argue very hard though. It is quite apparent that your Assassin has eyes only for you, Lady Tabris."
The lithe little elven Warden blushed. That's right, she blushed, and turned the most adorable shade of pink. With a man like Zevran at your beck and call, how could anyone blush? If the site baffled her, it only amused Zevran, who chuckled and pulled his Warden only closer.
"Oh, please don't call me that. I am never, ever going to forgive Alistair for giving me that title. I'm no lady, just an Alienage Elf who had some bad things happen, and ended up the luckiest woman ever."
"Credit where it is due, love-of-my-life. You are a glorious woman and well-skilled scoundrel, who saved all of Ferelden with charm and looks, and an extremely handsome Assasin." Zevran responded, his lips curled in a grin so wicked it made Angel's heart flutter.
She felt an arm on her own hips, and tipped her head over her shoulder at Fenris. Those emerald eyes of his looked down at her, and for half-a-heartbeat the whole world disappeared.
"So, besides ridiculously handsome elven lovers, I see we've got saving the world in common. Which I would love to hear all about, since I've been trapped in Whiassup for the last three years. Your brother told me some of the story, but I don't think he's really the best to tell the story, considering he told me Isabela and he were having a secret love affair behind your nose.. and while I wouldn't be suprised at that from what I know of her.. He doesn't seem the type."
Fenris laughed, then, shaking against Angel's back. A good, hardy laugh. A laugh that meant, Carver? YEA RIGHT.
"Have to love my little brother. Come on into the sitting room and I'll have Orana bring us some tea.. or, maybe wiskey."
It was going to be a fun evening.

I actually haven't written anything about DA:O. For some reason I had more inspiration to write Hawke and the DA2 cast than my Warden. Strange. I don't even think I could do Alistair or Zevran any real Justice. Perhaps I could do Morrigan's voice. Your Zevran is fantastic, though.
If you ever need a pre-reader/editor/proofer my door is always open.
It seems everyone is writing a fic except me *shifty eyes* I just can't seem to make the one I'm working on feel the way I want it to. It's a small, silly thing. Nothing so epic as these stories you guys do. I tend to abandon fics if they get "too long." Preferring one-shot stories instead.
Back to Fenris: I love his glares as well. One of the things that gives Fenris such presence is the way he is just able to *glare* with such an intense expression and gaze. I do love that about him.

I'd say it's mediocre at best. FFX-2 is probably worse, but not by a lot.
Now, FFXII, on the other hand, is totally worth it. And yes, this is a totally subjective statement

I have 2 one-shot stories linked in my sig. One fluff, one kind of dark. Nothing fancy.
I recommend some prompts on dragon_age_kink meme as well, but that place is very hit or miss especially if you are NOT into smut or are.. you know.. underage for some of the adult content there *smirk*

Heiden's fics are in her "clarity rose" sig -- FF.net is a good place to find some good fics. Also Archive of our Own and Word Press. All good places to start.

Thank you! I was checking out Archive of our Own just today...and now I will check out the sigs.
I'm always impressed how articulate some people are, hence the reason I enjoy the fic! Plus it's interesting to see how others fill in gaps in storylines.
