"As you wish." - come on he freaking says it! Lol. I see a ton of references to Fenris these days. Whether I just notice them because of my obsession or because they just were always there and are perfect analogies I dunno. Yet I constantly go "oh gods that is so Fenris... " in way to much these days.

Edit: sorry not feeling well today... bleh I thought I was over this whole "sick" thing, VENHEDIS! ... Here is a nice TOP I haven't seen in a long time though....

If Fenris isn't romanced I don't mind it. That said, in my games, he's taken.

About the Fenris/Isabella romance, Isabella (from what I gather from her banter with Fenris) just wants to tap that (HAWT) lyrium-tattooed behind; she doesn't look like the committed sort. Fenris, on the other hand, seems to be anything but the one night stand type-- he's too passionate to not become emotionally invested in a relationship, and I really don't see Isabella committing. She's just mad about him because he keeps refusing her, and she finds the "chase" challenging. Once she's had him once, maybe twice, she'll soon tire of him and embark on another chasing mission, and I don't think Fenris would appreciate that. At least, that's my hypothesis.

Basically, I definitely don't see them in a long-term relationship. (I'd personally hate to see them in a long term relationship because Fenris is my EXACT kinda guy, and to see him commit to.. well.. a whorish pirate, really, would be quite devastating).

I think that Fenris could be persuaded to just have "booty" calls for a while as he's been on the run a long time and is probably itching for some action (assuming no Hawke romance).  Although I do agree that it wouldn't be anything permanent or long term - just some fun distratctions.  He seems to be looking for someone that understands him, without feeling pity.  Enter HAWKE!

Yes, Cosmo and Arcane_Solona I feel the way you do. Extreme jealousy. I'm so happy I'm not alone. I don't like the way they look so happy together in that picture. Tealsie has caused so much uproar at putting hit up lol. Fenris suits my Hawke so well. I love how he shyly loves her. And gosh that kiss at the end. Izzy and Fenris initially seem more like fling types because I could see Fenris looking for ways to deal with being on the run after he escapes from Danarius and while he is with Danarius, having to cope with the loneliness and pain of those things, occasionally giving in to having a fling or two.  But, there's a difference between Izzy and Fenris in that Izzy would initiate a fling where as Fenris would more like give in to one if the one initiating it was persisting enough.

I see Rei has put up a picture of Carey Elwes. Another movie I like, like Sleepy Hollow. The Princess Bride I think.

Be it Marric or Mariana, Arcane_Solona, Cosmo and anyone else who loves him...Fenris belongs with with Hawke.

Ryzaki Great Idea! you and I seem to agree on lots of things. Why should I want Izzy back? For the money, experience, and Ambrosia for the extra-level potion. Thats it!! I want her gone, but...I can't believe someone else has seen it this way. Thank you :-)

I like the banter in the third-act better when Izzy is out of the picture. Both on the streets and when Hawke visits Fenris at his house when the Danarius confrontation is over.

No, I don't get jealous over that banter because to me, it means my Hawke (or that Hawke) wasn't interested in Fenris  and was in a relationship with someone else.  So as his friend, Hawke wants him to be happy.  Now if that banter were in the game while romancing him....well my friend Izzy wouldn't survive....

Just to clear some things up. About what I said before...I had no idea there were so many bisexual people on this site. When you look at something you tend to look at it from your point of view only. I would never want CGG gone. I love her. I went to an all girls high school and several of my best friends are bisexual. The thing is I just don't see that much of them any more. Our lifestyles are waaaay too different. But here, we can all interact on what we have in common! I take back what I said. The way Fenris was designed there is no threat to me by the opposite sex. I guess with Zevran, I was upset because when I told him his bisexuality diiiiid bother me, he canceled me outright. I was more than just a tad offended by that. I wanted him to fight for me more. Give me another chance.

I think in general if a character I like in a game is bi I get jealous because that's just all the more competition I feel I have to fend off, haha ;-).

I've never played any of the games other than female (which I am!) so I just treat all my LIs as interested in me only (and I've never romanced Zev, always Alistair - it's his voice!).  It never really occurs to me that someone somewhere could be playing a male Hawke to romance MY Fenris!!

I wanted to stay with Alistair. I wanted it so badly I killed Loghain. I was playing a mage, and he treated me so badly after I had committed murder for him, arranged his marriage to the lovely Anora, etc. But he was mean to me after. I mean I had passed all the checks and technically we were still "in love", but he had given me just by how he talked to me every reason to think he could just as easily leave me. And that hurt like no tomorrow. So I was like "scr*w this," and went back and redid. I was so angry at him at first, that I just sent him away. I felt terrible about that later. So i betrothed him to Anora, ended our relationship, chose Zevran since Loghain never did become a love option (it never hurts to have a rogue companion always at your side), spared Loghain, and had Anora and Alistair rule jointly with me out of the picture.

Alistair's voice is killer. So sexy. And those kisses.

I like how both Zevran and Nathaniel look in Origin's and Awakenings much better than in DA2. Funny because I feel the exact opposite about Anders. I will admit tho, when you confront Nuncio with Zevran in the Third act, the way Zevran crinkles up his nose and says "Yes, well. Lets see how that works out for you", his expression, just puts me into fits of laughter every time. And I do also like how he comes to help you win the game at the end of Act 3.

I think the best kiss of DAO was a mod, I forget by whom, for Cullen and the mage.  It was well done.  Whoever did that, did one heck of job...too bad I can't remember who it was.  Anyways he she deserves kudos!

Zevran's face did throw me off.  It just didn't look like him. But his personality was the same so I muddled through it.:happy:  Fenris shot down his proposition very quickly.  I laughed at it.  It was cute.

I think I saw that Cullen mod. yeah, it was good, I forgot who did it too. Left me craving for more. Thank you for noticing that about Zevran too. Because my Wardens were both in a romance with Zevran at the end of Origins, don't receive the Zevran flirting dialog (altho he does still run off with Isabella, harrrrumph. But I accept that it's just a bug). Since I was mad at Zevran, I went to my blonde Derel's playthru and severed ties at the very end with Zevran and it broke my heart to do it. Emanuelle my rogue for DA2 is on that path right now, but, I don't know if I'll ever finish it because I love being a mage so much. That way tho, i was hoping to get the dialog. I should get it because they did give you the option to break up with Zevran at the end of Orrrrigans, but not at the end of Awakenings. So to avoid having to go thru an entire next playthru with either of my Derels (this one and the blonde one), I sacrifice the Amaranthine Conspirators quest, and probably the Nathaniel quest too come to think of it, to get the Zevran flirting with Hawke dialog.  And I haven't finished even Origins yet for Aidan, or Ariadne, my Templar/Reaver Warden. I for the love of me can't make up my mind about Zevran. I wish he neeeeveeer gives his Warden the chance to break up with him. Then, it'd be a no-brainer. But Zev gives the Warden waaaay to many chances to take him up on it. And then if you're like..."ok, Zevran it's over," he still teases you. Or doesn't fight enough for you. There's just something that just doesn't quite go over so well in his romance. I'm frustrated by him.

But Tealsie is right, Zevran is not overtly the needy type. I just implied as much because I was feeling hot-headed at the time. Buttt... I like what Tealsie said about Fenris being the needy type. Makes me love him allll the more. Thanks Teals. :-). Our disagreement was more of a misunderstanding methinks, at this point.

hahaahaha. What Omearaee said about Zevran's face here in DA2 is it, in a nutshell. Now I can't stop laughing. That's exactly my feelings. Sometimes someone else can put into words exactly what you're thinking. So cute when that happens :-).

That Cullen/mage mod was awesome. Most of the mods for DA:O that I've seen were great. Some of them should have been the actual scenes!

As for DA2 mods, love the modded outfit for Fenris - hot AND sexy! Wish it was his "home" outfit...

ohhh yes, I think so too, Cosmo. Fenris's in-game outfit could use some artistic touches, it seems a little plain as it is so the favors add color to his outfit, and I try to equip him with colorful swords to compliment his outfit. The Blade of Mercy is so great, and after you give it to him it is sooo cute how he'll just be automatically wearing it after the cutscene. But in the cutscene, when he's holding it and these cracks form and it glows like there is lava inside... the sword itself is kind of plain looking but it's a great sword and it would be cool if we could make it look like it does in the cutscene, when he's actually using it in the game. I wish I was better at making mods myself; I've been trying to teach myself how. I get frustrated with some of these toolsets, but I'm at least going to try to render the selection of swords Fenris can use during the game. Would make for a good project. Might take some time tho. There was a Loghain romance mod that someone made that I liked and also a cutscene where Fenris is carrying Hawke into the bedroom which turns out to be Isabella's romance scene. It's a very sexy scene.

Really?  No mods?  I play on the 360 so it could just be a jealousy thing, but that long black coat mod I thought would have been great to have him wearing in his mansion during the conversations.  NEVER touch that pointy armor!

When you say after you give the Blade of Mercy to Fenris, do you mean giving it to him as a gift in the cutscene, or just equipping him with it afterwards? Because in my first playthrough, he was SO offended at me for giving it to him, I got +20 rivalry points or something! He despised me in that playthrough, though (wasn't romanced and I was veryyyy pro mage), so maybe that's why... Does he actually accept it if his friendship is maxed out?

EDIT: Just read on the Dragon Age Wiki that he accepts it if he's friends with Hawke. But it also says the sword is of much better quality if you keep it. So, would it be better to keep the sword and then equip him with it, seeing as it'd be much stronger?

I can tell school started - I have 2-3 pages to read when I check this thread now. (That's not a complaint! ) I just wish I could participate more. 

Since I went OT, have another aimo Fenris. I *love* the little details in her stuff!
