I'm actually wondering if this isn't a form of compensation for the fact that Fenris didn't exactly have much to say in Legacy (even without the broken dialogue), since obviously, out of all the LIs, it had most relevance for Anders.

Although I do also hope that this doesn't mean they won't fix Fenris' Legacy banters...

"Fancy party" setting makes me think of Kasumi's loyalty mission in ME2. An infiltration scenario could work in an Orlesian setting too.

Okay... WHAT? I always sensed Danarius was gay!!! The way he walked and talked... So Fenris was actually a sex slave??? DAVID!! David, pleeease answer this if you come across it! When you say intimate, do you mean what I think you mean? (a sexual relationship)? Or did Fenris actually consent to such a relationship? (i.e. did he have feelings for Danarius, as impossible as that seems).

If anyone else already knows the answer, please end my agony and tell me! (Poor Fenris... I feel so... appalled).

The characters that spring to mind are:

1. Isabela (Stole the Relic that was in Orlais but originally belonged to the Qunari.)
2. Sebastian (Orlais=Chantry?)
3. Fenris (Maybe he'll help with any potential Qunari problems)
4. Aveline (Okay, I'm stretching it a bit far here, but still. Her father was a chevalier and all... potential side-quest about him like Varric's in Legacy?)

Anders, Merrill and Varric don't really have any relevance there.

First off.. KJLJIEOIAKJLFDJF at MotA. Loving Tallis. Seriously hoping it *is* Fenris since he knows about the Qunari. However, it is more than likely Isabela since she would know more about Orlais. *sigh*

Just hoping they still fix Legacy banters and that we get some more Fenris/ companion dialogue in MotA.

Also, @Arcane_Solona -- we've been through this thing with Danarius before. It is rather vague about the *coughintimatecough* I assume that Danarius is more a giant creeper. Fenris says to a female Hawke that he has never "been" with anyone else. Now, he might have "been" with Danarius (threw up a little) and just not want to bring it up, but I doubt he would say he had never been with anyone at all if that were true. The other option is that he could have had his memories wiped numerous times in Danarius' service and just doesn't remember it. I'm inclined to think it wasn't so much overt sexual abuse as it was innuendo, perversion, and general creeperage on Danarius' part towards Fenris.

As well you have to remember that he could also be indicating that he's never volentarily been with anyone else. You have to remember, "being with" someone is not at all the same as being forced unwillingly.

I also got the impression that Hadrianna was the one more so even then Denarius. Deffinately got the "EAT SOME PIE, SLAVE" kind of vibe from her.

How small is small? I pulled the chapter off tumblr, but I found out w/ chapter 40 that it was twice as long as the original link implies.. and had to go back to chapter 38 to find the whole thing. Not sure if 41's simmilar or not.

Hmmm... I never thought about the part where he says he'd never been with anyone else... that makes sense. But like  heidenreich said, maybe he meant he'd never voluntarily been with anyone, so he wouldn't count being forced to be "intimate" with Danarius as actually "being" with someone....

The thing about that is that he goes "if there was someone else I have no memory of it." I mean, I get that he wouldn't want to bring up Danarius at that moment, and of course he would see it differently in all aspects. However, why would he even venture to say that at all if Danarius had been explicitly sexual with him. You don't just "omit" that kind of thing, and you wouldn't say you have no memory of it... unless you actually... didn't have a memory of it.

Edit to add: I also thought of Hadrianna moreso on the hounding/sexual innuendo thing. "but I know Fenris..."

However, being an apprentice to a magister and fully embracing blood magic. I see her "hounding" as way more severe than most. That being because blood mages can enter people's dreams, control their minds, etc. etc. The whole "hounded my sleep" and "denied my meals" just rings like she was more a sadistic type than anything though.. into control and such. I still don't know if it was specifically sexual abuse though. More like mind-F***ery.

Generally speaking, when someone has suffered sexual abuse as the only form of sexual contact they know, if someone they're interested in asks if they're a virgin, they don't go "Well, no, I was abused for years!" Not only is there just a huge difference between consensual and nonconsensual sex, one that leaves someone who has only had nonconsensual sex entirely justified if they want to tell someone straight out that they're a virgin, but abuse is frankly not an easy thing to deal with, or to admit to someone. Especially if the person being asked has no idea whether the person they're talking to willl react with pity, sympathy, or disgust at them for being abused.

Fenris doesn't outright say he hasn't been with anyone, he says he can't remember anyone before the markings, and that he hasn't allowed anyone close, that he believed he didn't need or want anyone. Even if you believe he's definitely talking physically, and not emtionally, that's a very careful wording that could easily be him edging around his brash honesty because he doesn't want to tell Hawke he's never been touched sexually, but he also doesn't want to tell Hawke that he /has/, as a slave.
