Maybe someone here can help me :crying: and yes, it is Fenris related.

Was going to Sundermountain
when the loading screen saying the slavers caught up with him popped
up. When it finished loading...I'm in freaking Sundermountain. I've
tried going back plenty of times but it isn't working.

I have no save that's closest to before I went to Sundermountain. the "closest" would be when I'm about to confront Lady Harimann and Allure but I did a bunch of crap
afterwards and I REALLY don't wanna go through all that again. Tried using zz_dae_debug and plot jump, and followers plot....it keeps
sending me back to where I choose either followers plot or the crisis/critical plot. And Fenris' zz_fen_debug doesn't work either -_-

You should be in the mountain. If you had done the Hadrianna fight you would know what the ambush scene should be. I am confused, what happened?

Sorry, probably didn't phrase that right. I meant I was in world map, clicked on Sundermountain, and instead of a regular loading screen I got the ambush loading screen. But instead of going to the cutscene, I am instead in Sundermountain. No ambush, no Hadrianna, nothing....but I found out when I accidentally clicked on Fenris, he said if we were ever going after her! O_O but I don't have the quest, I don't have the map icon for it, nothing! D:

Go back to any previous save prior to heading outside of Kirkwall. Make sure you remove all your mods (if you have any) and then replace them one at a time, each time heading back out to sundermount. The moment the scene breaks you'll know which mod is breaking you.

If you don't have any mods/not on a computer.. just go back to an earlier save.

And once again, I've missed a lot. Urgh.

Funny how some of you here have never played using a Female Hawke, despite you being female yourselves! I have never played with a male Hawke (or any male character in Origins) because DA is one of the few RPGs that actually allows you to play as a female. And seeing a female beat up the Arishok in single combat, kick some carta and dragon ass AND beat the crap out of abominations and blood mages (and bronze statues and crazed Knight Commanders) reeallllyyy gives me a sense of empowerment. Its like "HELL YEAH, I'm a GIRL, AND I can KICK your ass!" (yes, yes, I'm a feminist).

For some reason(which I don't know), I'm selective with my characters' genders... by whoever made the game. Posted Image
With Bioware games, I play mostly females. With Bethesda games, I play as mostly males. And I'm female. Posted Image doesn't make sense to me...

I think the only reason I play Female Hawke is to date Fenris. Yeah I can do that with males too but I just don't see Fenris as into men. If I ever do a male though, Merrill is gonna sit on my naughty lap~

...I think I might have an elf fetish.

Hello Fenris thread .... at work so nothing spectacular to add.

To chime in on that chest discussion... even if it was written information he would have found someone to read it. Either willing or not... I don't think it would have been in Tevene since most information is stored and shared in the common tongue. Only the highest of educated magister write in ancient Tevene and I doubt everyone in Tevinter writes in regular Tevene for simple record keeping and such.

As for his contact I always assumed it was Anso or another such type he hired to help him gather info. Im sure he knew about the mansion before, and whatever he found on the guard... coin, trinket, some thing Danarius would give ppl working for him... identified that Danarius was here and that the mansion was where he would be staying. Im sure he had been watching that mansion for a while, but wanted to know for sure if Danarius was there. Obviously it was all an elaborate trap, but Fenris pretty much figured that.

I always play fems usually. I do have male chars but I play a lot of BAMF fems because I like them. I usually play at least one fem modeled after myself and the rest are for funsies so I don't mind RPing with a male. I just like the fems better... and fem hawke is so awesomely voiced and acted. I love her.

I tend to lean toward het relationships. Never been a slash fan *shrug*. Not like I mind them or anything. Honestly I actually like the femhawke fenris dynamic because it feels like a more equal/symbiotic relationship. For some reason with male hawke it feels more like a dom /sub than fem. Dunno.. just personal preferences I guess. Different strokes and all.

I actually don't have an elf fetish. In fact, I think Fenris is the only elf I have loved so much in this context. I love Tolkien elves and one of my fav chars is Arwen. Yet, Aragorn was my all around fav male char. If I could even choose a favorite that is.

Alistair was my fav in Da:o and while I loved Zev I didn't romance him. Alistair and Morrigan were my LI and favs, lol. Zev was my bro in arms. Daa doesn't really count.. velanna lol.

So...uhhhh Fenris is, to date, the only elf I love this way. Uniqueness FTW.

I feel the same! I dunno why... maybe its because male Hawke is just so manly and buff and.. well, to be honest, he just doesn't look (or act) gay. I can totally see Anders being gay, but not male Hawke (at least not the ones I've seen so far). Fem Hawke and Fenris seem to be very suitable for one another (that is not to say that Fenris is feminine-- faaaar from it). The relationship just seems right that way. I really don't see Fenris being into men, but that's just my opinion, which really counts for nothing. (but really, can you see Alistair being into men? I certainly cant. That's how I see Fenris).

Still not enough? OK - Let's kill the mother, and no, you CANT save her!

Need Act 3 angst! Living sibling or lover or best friend kidnapped!

It's like someone at Bioware has this vendetta against the Hawke family.

I'm still surprised that Dog is alive at the end of the game.

What am I, the patron saint of M!Hawke/Fenris on this thread?
I've been lurking. Got some ideas I may be able to get on paper soon after I finish some other things...
But yes, other people should post M!Hawke/Fenris because HHHNNGG

Oh emm gee... fine :P.

But yeah.. you kinda do the M!Hawke/Fenris thing the most on here, and besides.. I misses your stuff. Though I still totally stalk you on Tumblr. I know where you've been hiding!

So here here.. some M!Hawke/Fenris for you all. Cuz for some reason I became the patron saint of picspam all of a sudden...:pinched:

My first (and only) Hawke is male because I don't like the female VA. On the other hand, my canon Warden is a female Tabris with a very short temper.

I'm not entirely sure what would consitute looking or acting gay in the game world. My Hawke is very, very gay, but that doesn't mean he's effeminate, which I assume is what you mean.

And I can see Alistair being into men quite easily. I see Alistair as being into the first person who actually shows him affection. I'd have to look up the exact quote, but Word of God is essentially that: Alistair's sort of het by default, but that doesn't mean it's outside the realm of possibility for him to ever be attracted to a guy.

As for Fenris, I see him as someone who's into being able to choose his partner(s). Aside from that, he doesn't strike me as someone who's that hung up on gender. I will say that my M!Hawke/Fenris is very much a dom/sub thing because my Hawke? Is a big bottom, and is more than happy to let Fenris lead.

At this point anyone, regardless of looks/effeminate behaviors, habits, personality can be gay. I can see Alistair being gay, and I agree about Fenris being the kind of person who chooses a partner based on personality and cohesiveness moreso than gender.

The whole flamboyant gay thing is offensive to a lot of gay people and I think having male hawke be and act how he does is a nice testament that he can be gay or straight or bi or tri or whatever in your game. He doesn't have to be sassy gay hawke to *be* sassy gay hawke, and that is refreshing I think.

That being said what I prefer in the female/fenris dynamic is the way it feels equal. Instead of "a man who speaks his mind" it is "a beautiful woman." It seems less reverence and more mutual respect. *shrug* as was said it is hard to explain, but it lies in interpretation and interactions when im watching a fem and fenris vs a male and fenris.

For the fic I'm currently writing (Look for giant walls of text in my posts from the last few days).

It. Just. Wont. Go!!!!!

Actually, it's not the fight scene itself - It's the "Oh, we're going to have a battle" bit. I have Anders and Isabela coming in first and breaking everyone out, then Hawke and Aveline show up Grr Argh Fighting and then some angst......

Argh! Why is there no "Screaming in Rage" smiley? Gyagh!!!!!!

OK, OK - I'm calm.

Try to listen to some aggressive music. Read a fiction or a scene from a book with a good fight scene. Watch a piece of a movie with a good rescue scene. It might help jumpstart something. I like writing battle scenes.. the dancing of blades, the gore-spattering crunches and stabs, the crackle and exploding of dangerous magic. Chaos, blood under a controlled stillness of a cohesive fighting group. Merrill or Anders would be rescuing.. Hawke would be fighting and yelling orders. Fenris would be fisting the hell out of people until he got his sword. Varric would be going trigger happy with bianca. Isabela is well, in and out like a ghost jabbing daggers in ribs and throats and dogging on Varric about his private reunion with bianca. Seb is... meh.. tossing a few arrows but probably the one to help Mira the most.

Sorry... trying to help. I know how itgetting is getting to a point in a story that just blocks you.

So I decided to romance Anders in my next playthrough, until a certain moment in my latest playthrough...
I decided to 'click' on Fenris because... I could. And for the first time (in 6 playthroughs!) he said 'I am yours.'. There is no way I can romance Anders now that I have heard that. xD

Bwahahahahahah!!!!!

Ah, I swear David Gaider somehow programmed telepathy into Fenris - The moment you think about going after someone else.....

I swear the 'click on quote' from Fenris that makes me melt the most is the one in the Chantry.

"They will not want someone like me here, we should leave." (Or words to that effect)

It makes me want to hug him.

@Arquen - Thanks for the suggestions! I found some music and I'm going again....The irony is that the song is called 'Escape'.

I definitely don't think that all gay people have to be flamboyant and effiminate. One of my best friends is gay, and you would never be able to tell! He's one of the manliest men I've ever met.

Like I said in my previous post, its just my opinion that Fenris and a male Hawke don't quite go hand in hand. Its they way I perceive things, nothing more. Then again, the best and most romantic fanfics I've read were the male Hawke and Fenris ones, so there you go!

Whenever I play, I always click on Fenris numerous times until he tells me "I am yours". I do it every single time. I just cant help it. I melt and melt and melt and melt and I just don't stop melting! Sigh:wub:. The first time I heard it, I literally SQUEEEEEEEEE'D sooooo loud, my brother nearly had a heart attack:P

Depends on how many foe you are facing. I usually found it difficult to write a whole group against just one enemy. You tend to run out of things to do after a while. Especially darkspawn. I can't really give each of them names. Ended up I had to say 'oh, the genlock near the chantry.....and the other near the steps....and there was this one right behind XXXX,.....'

Hideous task, I know.

Thanks!
LOL - Love AC! (It's all the flipping around like a monkey and stabbing unsuspecting baddies - Like a murderous monkey on meth!)

And 'Iron' - the first time I heard it I'm like ''Must find this song! Must find it!'' I was like a musical Gollum.
