Funny that Emille comes up.
Most of my Hawkes wouldn't ask anyone to do something she isn't willing to do herself if she's expected to lead (particularly canon Hawke). Hence...no one else has to touch Emille with a 10-foot pole either. *evil grin* It won't even come up.
I wish I had a better "Screenshot" of Aniya than my avatar, but that's canon Hawke. Darn XBox.
As far as Fenris's preferences - let's just put it this way. I have a friend who is gay (actually several, but I am thinking of this specific one) and we inevitably wind up mooning over the same DA characters. (And yes, he's teased me over a very smexy photo of my hubby on vacation.

) . So, whatever the writers are doing, or specifically whatever Gaider is doing (since our shared interests are all Gaider characters) - he's doin' it right. Of course, said friend has been out of luck in Mass Effect thus far, but I think he may be a Garrus fan as well.
I think I really like the idea of elves perhaps tending towards being bi or even pan. (Honestly, Pansexual isn't something I'd ever heard of, but it sounds like an
incredibly cool way of living/loving, and honestly even a noble one. Personally, I am not that noble - I am definitely too biased to be anything but hetero. It makes a certain amount of sense, though, especially given the former immortality and possibly because at least some elves try to reproduce solely with elves because of the whole "half elves are humans" thing.
I do find it very, very interesting that the Word of Gaider is that Fenris was written with a male!Hawke in mind, especially given how many female fans he has. This is a good thing; I really like the idea of a hero-sexual character in general, and this is a great example of how well that can work.
@Arquen - I'm sorry to hear of your family emergency. I'll shoot you a PM - and good thoughts/prayers/whatever you prefer are headed your way.
Bah, stupid coffeeshop that blocks DA. *grumble* Can someone please pick up my slack and post some moar Fenris?
