 I'm totally late on the Hawke-posting thing but here is Julian Hawke, in one of his best BAMF moments of the game. He's just killed the Arishok in single combat (which largely involved casting, running around like crazy, quaffing a healing potion, and casting again) and he does this thing where he twirls his staff before holstering it six inches off his back:



I also love the moment right after this, when Meredith runs in only to find that it's over, and everyone's cheering for the apostate. She looks like she's about to burst a blood vessel on the spot.

It is really funny especially if you are looking at them from the side.  No one in Thedas uses scabbards.  A small but funny thing.  I guess it's not worth the game resources to fix it.

As for them not fixing Fenris' dialogue...I'm not surprised or that mad about it.  It just isn't worth making a patch to fix one character's dialogue.  It's too bad they won't release the toolset and let the modders fix it.  Oh well.  I just hope Fenris is okay in the new DLC.
Is he a feature in it...due to his Qunari connections, like Aveline and Orlais?

Screenies were posted earlier showing Fen in the new DLC, I really hope there are no banter flubs.. I've been putting off having my main Hawke go through Legacy because I was waiting to hear the good word about the banter being fixed. If they never fix it.. well maybe main!Hawke will never do that mission, that makes me sad. The Anders/Hawke and Anders/Companion LI dialogue all worked... urgh... WHY BIOWARE - please fix Fenris... don't make me cry.

Puzzle in the new DLC = awesome! but I admit to cheating with the wikis if I get really stuck

We could get more pages but half the time things are brought up people say 'not this again'... (just teasing!!!)

oh and I got the cutest fenris rearview mirror dangler in the mail yesterday! I paid a commish to have it done by queenofthecrows over on DA - have you guys seen these? so cute! and he glows in the dark. I had mine made with solid green eyes and dark brown eyebrows.

That has to be one of the most adorable things I've seen ever.  you lucky person, you.
Too bad I don't have a car atm. Or money to spend on things to pretty-up a car. I'd commission one of those in a heartbeat.  possibly with a book, instead. But then there wouldn't be pretty glowies.

More Info on Mark of the Assassin: According to the special on BioWare Pulse:

Aveline will have special content because of her Orlesian heritage.

The gaudy looking crossbowman in the trailer? His armor is made of wyvern scales.

Wyverns are hunted for sport by Orlesians. We’ll have the opportunity to participate, and the bigger the beast Hawke brings down, the more respect he’ll earn.

There will be an opportunity to chat and socialize with Orlesian party-goers, which will expand our knowledge of The Game.

Harlequins are similar to bards. They’re elite assassins who dress as jesters and tumblers, but when they reveal themselves, they’re deadly.

Orlesians are obsessed with masks.

There will be plenty of optional puzzles this time around. (That sound you hear? That’s me cheering.)

There’s a small amount of special content for the siblings.

The DLC does not take place in Orlais, but it features are first look at Orlesian architecture.

After reading this I totally got excited for a Wyvern hunt, LMAO. Come, Fenris -- We will find the biggest, best, and most powerful Wyvern to impress these gaudy, snobbish, nobles! I think I can hear the famous Fenris eye-roll.

Also, not sure I'm so excited by puzzles. That one in Legacy took me YEARS to do. I am so not good with in-game puzzles, LOL.

I don't want to get too exicted about this DLC lest I get disappointed once its out, but I must say, everything sounds really interesting and new! Maybe I should allow myself to get a bit excited:P

And LOL about the Fenris eyeroll! I soooo LOVE it when he does that!

I am totally bummed about the Legacy thing. I almost don't want to take my canon mage through. It feels... wrong. Like something is just missing there when he doesn't speak about the romance. Makes me sad. Though as I said... not surprised. It still sucks though.

The new Dlc had Fenris and Izzy in party, but im curious about Aveline's stuff. Plus the most intriguing thing was learning more about The game as a whole at the party. Excellent! Just truly hoping Fenris isn't bugged to hell this time. Or anyone else for that matter.

Working all weekend... again...

I had this idea for a Fenris pic in my head and when I tried to look up reference screenshots I ended up getting lost to my screenshot folder for an hour

Now I'm too tired and I have to go to work again tonight. Bleh.

Was seriously thinking about the Fog Warriors today. The more I imagine them, the more they seem like rebels. Native Par Vollens rebelling against the Qunari and the Tevinter Imperium. I imagine them not so much as native american type people though, but more like a collaboration of outlaws or something. While I used to think them more like the natives... I can't help but think they must be more like guerrillas. Then again if they are then perhaps they wouldn't take in strangers. I just wonder how it all came to be that an injured Fenris would be found by these fog warriors and accepted by them. Obviously they are fighters of some type. Fog warrior in itself suggest guerrilla of somesort. Ahh... my brain churns at possibilities that I will never know definite answers to.

Just imagine slave!Fenris being among those people. What an incredibly scary and overwhelming thing to wake up to. I imagine his first question would be "why?"

I mean we know the whole "people who are Anders fans support terrorism and bloodshed of innocents,"I but has anyone gotten that "people who are Fenris fans support the wholesale slaughter of the Templars?"

I actually haven't come across that accusation yet. Although, I have been called an "emo lover" because apparently, Fenris is "emo" according to some people *Fenris eyeroll*

Lol... I remember when broody and angst actually had a distinct definition apart from "emo." I actually find Fenris quite stoic more than emo. His rage comes out in small bursts, he recovers his emotional turmoil quickly and most of the time he wears a very stoic mask. Except for Hawke and his dialogues his "social" face and the one he wears when in your party and responding in a group is quite unemotional. In fact the only two times he does do an emotional response/ face in front of the group is after Hadrianna.. (he excuses himself), alone (he makes puppy eyes and touches Hawke's face ONLY if romanced), and the gallows kiss (again ONLY if romanced).

He is broody and does have angst. That does not mean he is "emo" ... people will say what they want though. Just ask them to give examples then throw this at them. Along with the true definition of angst: that being the inherit, internal struggle with the self and ones responsibility and role to the self that exists in every human and arguably sentient being. Not overly emotional, not excessive moodiness, nor any of the other muddled definitions this age of urban dictionary and ignorance had wrought. *steps off soapbox*
