F: You are too willing to involve yourself in the affairs of others, Hawke.
F: Each time you put yourself at risk. One day you will not be so lucky.
H: You have a better idea?
F: Guard what you have. Keep your head low.
H: Like a dragon! Guarding my treasure horde!
F: That's not what I meant.
H: Shall I eat passersby? Perhaps I can demand virgin sacrifices.
F: Even dragons are eventually slain, Hawke.
My Hawke is diplomatic/sweet, so the conversation played out slightly differently. When Fenris made that ridiculous suggestion of keeping his head low, Hawke said, in a gentle voice, "And how has that worked out for you, Fenris?" Fenris was silent for a moment, then just went: ".... Hmph."
I was totally d'awwwing.
I actually heard that really differently on my diplo Hawke - after the head low line:
Hawke: "That sounds like a way to go through life without ever knowing anyone."
Fenris: "I . .. suppose so." in this really down voice.
Hawke: "And how has that worked out for you, Fenris?"
Fenris: [grunt]
But I didn't hear the tone on the "And how has that worked out for you . . ." line as gentle, I heard it as mocking, quite honestly. I was amazed that my diplo Hawke would prod Fenris like that. Difference in tone interpretation, I guess, but that's how it sounded to me.
My face was

and I was like "How mean, Hawke!" Not that Fenris might not have deserved it a bit, since it was Act II post-night together, but still.
Speaking of which, I don't know if anyone's mentioned this or not, but if you do MoTA during Act II after sleeping with Fenris, when you click on him, he says "It is always good to be at your side." Awwwww. Plus, he still does his possessive lines at Tallis when you flirt with her. Good way for an RPed Hawke to realize Fenris really does care, he's just having troubles dealing with it, maybe? XD
EDIT: . . . where did that stray word come from . . . ? Heh.
