Fenris in the black coat makes me shudder. I really, really do not like that look on him. I mean, Dante is hot and all, but like Ineffable Igor said, I like to keep my games separate. Plus, it seems like a crime to cover up such a sexy body with that coat! I love looking at his arms, his wide chest, his lean, muscular legs... *drooolssss*
I think his bare feet are beautiful, I have nothing wrong with looking at them. Its just, I'm a very "realistic" and practical person, so it just doesn't seem practical for someone to just be bare foot all the time, especially someone who travels and runs and fights and adventures as much as Fenris (and Merrill, for that matter) do.
But his toes are the most adorable!
About Zevran falling in love with the Warden and never loving anyone else again, my heart melted when I read that! I had no idea! I never romanced him; Alistair is just impossible to resist, but now I'm actually tempted to romance Zev instead! I love it when the person who falls in love with you is someone who has never fallen in love before and doesn't seem the type to fall in love, only to have you change everything they thought they knew about themselves and before they know it, they find themselves doing what they thought was impossible: falling truly and deeply in love with you. That's what really draws me to Fenris; the knowledge that this falling in love and trusting and friendship business is something he thought he'd never experience, something he shunned, in fact, only to find himself completely in love with Hawke and willing to do anything for him/her, even if that entails fighting to protect mages in the end. Like he says in Act II "I never thought I needed anyone, or wanted anyone... until now" *smoulders with those impossibly sexy eyes of his*
MELT!
Zevvie has been in love before, it's part of his Charming trauma.
Offtopic, just musing out loud.
I was thinking, when I first saw Fen in the game, I was pleased but not blown away. there was no major droolage like I slobbered after Zev. I think thats because I like power. Thats my major attraction in just about everything. Cunning, sly, control. Those things make me pleased. It's why I almost always love antagonists more then protagonists. Protagonists seem to get dragged into problems and then with help drag themselves out. Antagonists control everything, from their actions, to their minions, to the situation.
Zevran had that off the bat, that control of his emotions and the people around him. Fenris didn't at first. He was the protagonist, being hunted, chased and completly not in control of his situation, he was merely keeping his head above water, slowly in the game I grew most of the "omg, must have" vibe from the show of power, his skills as a warrior, his control and calm in battle and his "this is what I think and I am right, leave off." attitude. I love that, loved it is Lucius too before book five. Love characters that can watch others implode with breakdown and tantrums and the go *pat pat* "Alright hunny." Cause they are just so far above letting themselves let go of their self contol like that.
Sooo, I have no idea what I am on about but yah, I love Fenris, not as much as I love Zev, my warden or my Hawkes, cause they are cool, powerful, where as I think Fenris could get there but right now his anger sits right below the surface and he contains it not. By then end of the game I think we will completely have his sh*t together. Be totally badass.
*musing over*
I need to go find more Zev and Fenris art.
Edit: Okay thats it, If I had a comp I would totally change his hair black forever, sorry white haired Fenris but your darker twin is way hot.
