So not in the Hawke's mansion, at the study where all the statues were erected?

I didn't even know there were stones there, I was too busy rushing around to pay attention on them. I mean, I did notice the cheese and such.......

Maker, Fenris! The only person he doesn't troll is Bethany, and yet.. totally a little trolling. Or was that some kind of fail-tacular flirting? OMG FENRIS -- the woman on the go? A Grey Warden counts as a woman on the go I guess... *facepalm* I heard the resounding laughter of my Origins Warden and I fell out of my chair laughing. Best moment ever. Then Bethany's response -- exactly what I was thinking. LMAO... had to share.

Me.. ME!.. LOL.. at the scene after Hadrianna you choose the straight up diplomatic option at the "don't go." wheel. I can't remember what exactly the option says, but it is the green leaf one. I did it on a rival and a friendmance playthrough. As long as you don't choose any other option, and you send him away with the diplomatic one he will say "As you wish..." as he walks off. You won't get the glowy kiss, but he will come back for non-glowy kiss later.

Lol, crap thats what i thought. O must not have the right personality cause I shoose the diplo option with my diplo Hawke and he says. "You can't do this alone". Fenris says  "you may be right", Or, "I may see that"... or something. can't remember.

I took him into the Legacy playthrough with me, before his romance scene and he still got all snarly about the carta not attacking me again, I suppose that wasn't romanced related after all.

Hmm... interesting... I went back and got a screenshot for you of the option wheel... I had aggro Hawke both times, and it isn't a green leaf option but one of those "arrow wheel" options...

Must be the diplomatic personality then. Too bad I used my agro Fem!Hawke on Isabela, I really just want to see that scene, the way you guys talked about it.
 
blast me deleting all my playthroughs, all my Hawkes had diff personalities, all were saved for that romance scene and all were with Fenris. Now I have none, and I have been playing so long to get through act two that my game overheated or something and everything looked like icing. *sigh*
 
I'll see if I have a save before I did my Isabela romance. Thanks!

LMAO -- oh character swappage-- what fun. I think my favorite is switching out Anders for Fenris on his Hawke's balcony kiss.

So much fun with that.

I did the glowy kiss on my diplo and my other diplo is a male archer/Isabela romance.

Gahh I'm so sorry Fleshy-- Let me reload real quick.. see if it works on my diplo fenmance...

That screenie was from my rivalmage/aggro Hawke. Still.. I don't know if it changes. I would think diplo would have the same wheel? Grr but I don't play diplo that often. It is so out of character for me, LOL. I was kicking myself this PT of MotA with my diplo Hawke -- I kept wanting to do the snarky or the aggro option -- it was hard for me to RP a diplo, LOL.

Same wheel for the most part, diff interpretations plus it says Don't go intead of Is that it? Not a prob. I assumed before hand. If anyone comes across a video on youtube with the Agressive version of the diplo comment that would be super. Bed now. Nighty night.

Hmm...Concerning the dialogue discussion, could it be a console/PC difference? Because that wouldn't be the first time I've seen different phrasings between the two. I just reloaded that scene with my Friendmanced snarky F!Hawke to check, and in her case, the top option on that wheel is "It's not a burden". She says "we're friends, Fenris". He walks off with a "I'm not sure I know what that is", but then comes back for the "command me to go" dialogue, as normal. I don't think it's based on personality, because it's certainly not snarky, and because my diplo Hawke got the exact same option in that scene. Note that he'll also come back if you pick the middle option and ask if he's planning to do anything about Hadriana's info.

Incidentally, I'm not entirely sure where the glowy kiss comes from in the romance scene, especially with a Friendmance (then again, I don't know the differences with a Rivalmance, because I've never tried one). It's totally hot (well, aside from the clipping problem, but that's also there for the non-glowy kiss), but I don't quite understand why Fenris would go "RAAR" at that point. He's come to apologize to Hawke, and he seems a good deal calmer. I know he's still pissed off at Hadriana, but why flare up against Hawke? Is he still that sore that she/he is trying to help? Or is it simply an instinctive reaction to being grabbed by the arm?

Also, lol @ Hawke having seizures from the glowing tattoos

I think it's just an instinctive reaction to being suddenly grabbed on the arm like that.

Also, I just had a mental image of Danarius ordering Fenris to glow on and off repeatedly to defeat a photosensitive epileptic rival magister. I shouldn't laugh, considering my sister's an epileptic, but...

1.) Yes, it is the diplo.. sorry ... it goes like THIS if your diplo:



-- the first option changes, and diplo Hawke says "we're friends, Fenris" -- I'm not sure if it changes on rivalry since I don't have a rival diplo, LOL. I would assume it does. or says something different.

2.) Diplo Hawke gets the adorable little smile/smirk on the glowy kiss. Only diplo Hawke gets it. I was all "d'awww," but curse it all did not have my Fraps running, LOL. Will have to screencap it another time.

3.) HERE... ! I just uploaded my rivalmage with the line.. it goes through the whole Hadrianna scene and I'm too lazy to edit it to just that part. Just skip to the end, LOL. So, yeah... my 2nd YouTube video ever in my Life -- I'm so newb, LOL.

Both of those are also true for a snarky Hawke. The smirk too.

Not sure. I checked the scene with my snarky mage so I could see the dialogue options. I picked both flirts ("I was worried about you" and then "Don't go"). Got the same dialogue wheel as your pic and then a smirk when Hawke gets pushed against the wall.

Hmmmm... somehow, I don't see Bioware going through the pains of making only a diplo Hawke smirk and not the snary/aggro Hawke. Considering the several graphical glitches in the game, it just seems like going the extra mile, which Bioware doesn't necessarily do with minor graphical alterations. I mean, that first kiss with Fenris is planted on his chin. On his chin, people! Urgh!

Well I know for 100% sure that my aggro does not get the smile, LOL. I looked for it on her, and did not see it at all.

The snarky warrior I could have missed it... but I just don't think so.

It is very possible that different animations play for different things. There are subtle animations that only play when certain responses are chosen -- like Fenris's eye-roll in Act 3 or some of Hawke's smiles/smirks. My aggro has this wicked smirk when she beats that Ferelden for the bone pit quest. So, yeah I *OMG* disagree with you Solona (yay?) -- I think it could be an animation based on things.

The chin thing though, LOL.. totally agree.
