Either this piece of WIN didn't get posted on this thread, or I completely missed it (which is a distinct possibility). I'm sure some of us have seen it since The Poobah tweeted about it, or it's on tumblr or something, but here it is again for anyone who may have missed it.

OHMYGOD WHAT THE ...?!?! What is this? I have never seen this before...! What is it?

It's a WIP from DahliaLynn. She sent it to David Gaider to get his feedback but I don't think she was expecting that he would tweet about it, as it is not yet complete. Dahlia does great work in the toolset, it will be even more awesome when she's done!

I'm so sorry, guys I meant for this to be a surprise and was relieved it didn't get posted on this thread. I've rendered it private for now, as I prefer to show it when it is complete...Sorry for the confusion

Away from the thread for a day and I miss 2 pages worth of discussion!

Okay let me see... 1) If Gideon Emery ever spoke to me, I think I would inadvertently squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee when I actually hear his voice spoken to me LIVE.

2) I talk to my characters ALL the time. "God dammit Anders, HEAL!!" and "DIE ALREADY!" are my most popular. Oh, that and "STUPID IDIOT!".

3) I too have a crazy, obsessive habit of continuously clicking on Fenris until he says "I am yours". The day just feels wrong if I go through it without hearing that at least twice.

I'm with you Arcane!!  It was only 1 day!

I would be that crazy fangirl as well - I would definitely make him say "I am yours" just so I could record it and listen to it over and over and over...this is why my hubby is glad we're safely tucked away in Canada.

I'm so glad to read I'm not the only one that obsessively clicks on Fenris!!!  My hubby just comes in and rolls his eyes...when I'm on the forums he just comes over, pats my back and tells me to not be surprised for the upcoming intervention...he's the one that originally got me into gaming!  He has no one to blame but himself...

I too have loved Bioware since KOTOR.  But I am a huge Halo fan, and just finished up GoW3 - sad to see that series end, but hopeful that they'll still do some gears stories, just new characters.

And please don't judge, but I have Fenris as my wallpaper on my BlackBerry.  People ask me all the time who it is!!  I of course can't believe they don't know!!Posted Image

He's my wallpaper on my iPhone AND my laptop! He's been there for nearly 3 months now, if not more. And people keep asking me who that is too, and I just smirk and say "just a special somebody".;)

Refer to her post on the top of this page. She set it as private because it's WIP.

But from what I've seen so far, it's really good.

So I just started my 5th playthrough, and its the second time I chose a Mage Hawke, and I really thought I'd be pro-mage and rivalmance Fenris for the first time, but I find it so incredibly hard to not just say whatever pleases him and be all pro-Cirlce. Urgh! And I hate that because it makes my mage seem all hypocritical like "Oh, the Circle is necessary BUT keep ME out of it", which is really annoying because I HATE hypocrites. But I just can't stand getting rivalry points from Fenris, I just can't! I'm not one for rivalmances. Sigh. I'm a mess. I think I'll just carry on being hypocritical and enjoy watching Anders become maddened by it.

Can't wait Dahlia!  And I just have to say your mods and toolset work is the reason that I, as a seasoned Xbox 360 player, downloaded Dragon Age:Origins for the PC!!!  Love it all!

Very excited!

@Arcane Here, take it from the gal whom typically plays a Friendmance!Mage!Hawekette. There is an easy way to play a mage who sends other mages to the Circle: RP it in your head as if your Hawke would have rather gone to the Circle then have been an apostate-- that they themselves felt they and/or Bethany would've been far better off there then not (which is a litttle easier when bringing Bethany into it because she goes squish, and if she had been apart of the Circle, she wouldn't have been killed by the Ogre. Albeit, she wouldn't proably have done good when bat-**** crazy Uldred took over the Ferelden Circle, but it's something. Also, the Hawke family probably would have had to move a lot to cover up the three apostates and so, exception to Lothering, Hawke probably didn't have a stable home, and could think that if they had been in the Circle, they could've had something close to that and wouldn't have had to run and cover up who they really were every day).

Also, sorry for the double-post and no art, I'm using my reader to post again and now it won't let me hit the edit button (FFFUUUUUU--!) But I didn't miss you Tash or Arquen. *Gives Tash her own plate of cookies and hugs too* All I'm going to say is that I've been working on something that takes up exorberant ammounts of my time. :)

MRC! Good to see you! Is your all-consuming project work or 'play'?

My MotA PT is stalled temporarily; I'm trapped in the puzzle room . I also had the glitched Fog Warrior amulet piece problem (it was right on the treasure box before the Vault, but no matter what I did, I couldn't pick the *grumble* thing up). I'm trying to not look the location of all the *grumble* pieces up so I can do it on my own, but I stayed up WAY too late last night poking around the puzzles.

Best line before I called it a night: Varric and Fenris running through the dungeons - Fenris is anxious about finding Hawke, but the guys are el-lost-o.  I loved Varric's line after they realize they're going on circles.

"We stay here, play Diamondback, and wait for Hawke to show up?"
I missed the next part of the Hawke/Tallis convo because I was laughing so hard. :wizard:

That's actually exactly how I appeased myself to carry on being a pro-Circle mage! Lol! I decided to RP that EXACT scenario in my head!

I love this thread- so many like-minded people! <3

@Arcane
The scenario I put on my pro-Templar mage was that they were tired of the fear, uncertainty and isolation being an apostate brings, so saw sending people to the Circle as a kinder path than always wondering when someone was going to turn on them, or if the next knock on the door would be the templars coming to take them away.

Mind they did switch sides later in the game after finding out more about what the Circle was actually like.

Honestly I always tend to send Grace to the Circle. She ends up there anyways, and knowing that they end up there no matter what... I just don't even bother letting them go anymore.. freakin' Grace.

I tend to make pro-mage choices and meta game a bit with Fenris - maxing him or leaving him if I do pro magey things. I like taking him on Feynriel, and automatically killing the slaver... "time to die little man." Is just great.

MRC... you didn't miss us? Well fine then! Lmao. I know how much no edit buttons suck.. i post from my phone way too much, lol.

Oh.. about MOTA .. the chest is not bugged. You have to have Hawke and Tallis stand on both of the panels in front of each chest. That "unlocks" both of the chests to be lootable plus gives you xp. Just loot one chest like normal and for the other chest make sur you have someone on both switches in front if the chests. It isnt bugged... its a little trick.

The flip puzzle kills me, but the others are easy. The paintings tell you what each fire puzzle is, and the rune one is simplistic.. yellow and blue - green. Blue and red - purple.. tada.. lol.

Nothing like that freakin legacy puzzle... Maker that one killed me.

Favorite rescue so far? Hmmmm... loved Aveline and Fenris and Anders and Fenris. Bethany and Fenris kills me.. that "oooo, you've learned a few new words." Gets me every time. OH Fenris.. your trolling deadan snark makes me love you so much.

@Arquen I love the Bethany/Fenris rescue scene too. Maker, is it hilarious when Fenris says that "Ooo!" of his! I love how they emphasised his funnier, wittier side in MoTA. Its always been there, but its much more frequent and pronounced in the DLC.
