I sorry. I not mean to leave gutter district for so long. Cocoon got broken.  It was a very sad day.

Really: I've been busy with that thing they call "real life" (HATEHATEHATEHATEHATEHATE. I have all sorts of little things now, like, OCIM (Oh Crap, It's Monday), OSIWIF (Oh Shoot, It's Wednesday. I Forgot.), TGIF (Thank GOD It's Friday), WCISOS (Why Can't I Sleep On Saturdays?) etc).

I've been writing (nothing Fenris related. Painful, if the writing wasn't so entertaining), working, eating every now and then, and sleeping. I've finally gotten a consistent schedule and now I have a lull in it (which is a kinda good thing because now I have time to chill on the forums and maybe some time to kick back in Skyrim when it comes out. Kinda bad because my schedule is a little screwed up again, but I can remedy that with heavy doses of Fenris and the Fen-Thread). 

*Puts plate of non-fattening virtual blue-frosted cookies on Tank's head* I'm glad to be back though!

It's actually my background for my laptop now (my main computer is the Necromancer one from GW2 that has the class name and the Asura on it-- I'm considering flipping it to Skyrim until next Friday, but I have my font and my bars for my windows/start menu/bottom bar with the date/time/programs running all set for the Necromancer background and I'm too lazy to change it. Bleh...)

THank guys last night for the info on being able to not do the flirt after the bitter pill but still initiate the romance.

I had to play through all the oprtions there, (since I never had)....and it's always so heartbreaking seeing Fenris' reaction when he was hoping for some soft of connection, but that you're not going to give it to him (even if he's the one seemingly passing on it in the first place)

I had to replay that part where he's getting ready to run away after sex and you tell him "Fenris, I wasn't looking for anything more" and he just looks so damn dejected.....I showed it to my husband too and he was like "ouch!"

Almost worse than the look and voice when you give him back to Denarius (fastest reload in history).

Ditching Anders after the sex scene is funny, he sounds like a teenager.....Fenris sounds...*heartbreak*

But I reloaded......and am looking forward to the Friendmanced and dumped Anders ****ing at Fenris.

Not sure about Kaffar, but the best place to start with the translation is a latin equivalent.

BW needs to give us a Tevene dictionary <_< Or at least a way to translate this stuff, LOL.

DG said he kind of made the curses up, and used what stuck, but I'm sure there is some kind of Tevene "formula" that they use so it all sounds the same and makes sense.

A little off-topic (okay, maybe really off-topic) but I feel that I must share this with you all:

I had the greatest dream last night. Everyone in this thread met up! Like, we all had this get-together, and it was sooo weird because I don't even know what you all really look like, so my brain just made you all up according to how it apparently imagines you all to look like! Gah, it was so brilliant!!! We all hugged and laughed and talked and talked (about Fenris, of course) and there were cookies being passed around everywhere!

It was such a strange yet really lovely dream. Made me realise just how awesome it would be if we all really did somehow manage to meet up. Put some faces to names and all that.

@MRC- The cookies (in the dream) were all yours, of course!

The whole "do you know how much they pay me to pose like this" cracked me up. I love how Fenris sits. Ever noticed in Act 3 when he is talking to Varric or Isabela and then Hawke comes in and he readjusts to that side-hand-on-knee pose. It cracks me up... Oh Fenris.. I imagine him going "be cool.. just be cool..." in his head when Hawke comes up and sits down.

No matter what, I love the wall slam, though. Even the friendmance wall slam, which I replayed and YES my rivalmage and my aggromage and everyone has the little smile. Though it is more a smirk on my aggro and a sweet smile on my diplo. Very slight differences and I missed it on my glowy kiss scenes *smacks self* -- Guess I wasn't really focusing on Hawke *eyebrow waggle*

I've noticed that readjustment. I like your idea that he is trying to look confident and cool. When I see it, I think that pose is just for Hawke.

The wall slam is excellent. The kiss when he comes back is nice too and it gives me a feeling of innocence, but that wall slam let's you know that you're in for it.

Hawke is just a catalyst. The rest is pure Fenris. He's like sex for the eyeball.

I'm trying to get a screenshot of his mouth when he does that insanely hot sexy kiss at the end.

I have a shirt, but its got words instead of his face (I like to keep things mysterious and puzzling, so when people read "I have a thing for tortured and broody elves" across my torso, they'll be forever wondering what on earth am I going on about). But yeah, definitely a smirky face.

It may be just me, but everyone feels much more close in this thread recently, or maybe it was just me getting comfortable. *shrug*

I have such a bad headache and I am trying to make the boyfriend supper and be sweet and romantic and instead I want to pop a couple pills, play on here with you guys, get further in a Fem mage playthrough while resisting te urge to eomanc Fenris again!

Also I would use the eye roll expression since thats my everyday go to expression.

For the shirt?




Black shirt. Put the words beneath the picture instead. Put "FENRIS" on the back in a cool font, with "Dragon Age II" beneath it in a smaller size (and perhaps a font that matches closer to the actual font).

For a hoodie, also make it black and put the symbol for "Lyrium Ghost" on the back. Vertical on one sleeve, put a Fenris quote on it (perhaps one of the romanced ones from the last romance scene in the courtyard, and a alternate that is humorous for those who don't want romanced!Fenris lines on their sweater). Can also have an alternate shirt (preferably long sleeved) based off this, with the "Lyrium Ghost" symbol on the front instead, and a small "Dragon Age II" on the back, near the neckline.

I like the second best (hoodie and long sleeved shirt)-- primarily because I'm a simple gal, and unless cookies are involved, there isn't any point in going crazy in how I dress.

Also, I thought of something cool.

Pair off the hoodie and long sleeve slightly via putting the quote on alternating arms. Left on the hoodie, right on the long sleeve. Or the other way around.

Quote would have to change though...

@aldien- Just read your fanfic, and can I say that you really have a knack for writing! From a purely 'writing' point of view, its just so well written. Some of the fanfics I've read make me cringe with all the grammatical mistakes and whatnot (especially use of appropriate punctuation) and yours is beyond reproach!

Now, to the content of the story: I'm not ashamed to say that I am a prude and your story made me blush, gasp and giggle. Which translates to: I loved it!

EDIT: Your story got me thinking, aldien. I've always thought of Fenris as a passionate and gentle lover, but after reading your fic, he could be seen as the "I like it rough" type. But I think I'll stick to my initial thought; my Hawkes don't like it rough:P
