EDIT: Hmmm... the problem is, I've never seen a picture of Gideon with a significant other, so I don't even know what his type is. BUT, you are definitely easy on the eyes  Which brings me to this question: Is Gideon a dad? Or is he even married? I know these are personal questions and that I shouldn't be asking them, but you can't blame a girl for being curious. *hides in case this instrusive question warrants throwing cookies at me*

Not that I particularly mind... we do have our degenerate into fangirl moments when it comes to the Fenris.

@ Fleshy -- I LMAO -- I *am* writing the Marric/Fenris one so no worries. It just.. isn't finished yet. I'm not going to give up on it, LOL. I'm committed now. However, I am going back to work tomorrow, and won't be around much until Tuesday. So no promises *when* it will be done.

As for Fenris shirt.. hmmm... I think going with a smirk is an excellent choice! Perhaps...

I love that "Lyrium burned" tagline -- but "Lyrium Ghost" is a great tagline too.

And speaking of the pose -- he totally does it for Hawke in act 2, both convos, but especially in the 2nd one (QB) where he starts up the "few pleasures greater.." and he sits like.. this...


It is a "just for Hawke" kind of pose, and I love it. Also, his post Hadrianna pose.. you know he isn't sitting that way just for the funsies.. oh that is SO his "Hawke will be here any minute.. be cool.." pose.

Anyways off to go do some things.. gahhh... RL keeps dragging me away lately.

@Arquen- You are so right! The way he's sitting after A Bitter Pill! He really does have a special way of sitting just for Hawke. Awww! Its so cute! I can almost hear the internal dialogue going on in his mind when Hawke's in or about to come into the room, telling himself to look "cool" and aloof yet sexy and flirtatious. Yummy!

I am needing some advice Re: Fenris - and I figured this place to be the best source of the correct information - I have read guides/wikis/walkthroughs and not found my answer.

I just finished the Act3 - Alone quest - friendship is 3/4 blue - Danarius is dead - Sister too (left it to him to choose) - the quest has completed. Wrist band is red (Im guessing this means romance has not been closed off...yes?)

I went straight to his mansion but it does not trigger the - Aveline/Varis/Fenris discussion which leads to makeup....

Is this a bug or I have missed something early on...

Im prolly going to re-start anyway - I think I missed alot of flirting early on because I did not read instructions (bad me:pinched: ) and didnt even notice the different icons in the dialogue wheel ...

But advice would be much appreciated...

Thanks for reading Fleshy and Arcane and anyone else who dares to brave my scribblings.... I don't actually see Fenris as that dominant and rough. I don't see him as a pushover either. Sorry, my stories tend to be very explicit. I make myself blush.

To be honest, I find it difficult to narrow down exactly what he would be like as a lover and partner. I think he'd buy Hawke flowers and jewelry. I know he wouldn't for Izzy, but that's a totally different relationship. I definitely see a romantic side to him. He's intense.

I'll go back to my dusty corner now. Sorry for rambling.

@tryynity -- that is his QB quest -- it should trigger whether or not you have romanced him. However, if your friendship/rivalry is not high enough it might not be triggering yet.

Since I don't know what you did in Act 2 I can't say if he will rekindle the romance or not. If you didn't sleep with anyone else after him and if you pursued the relationship and let him leave and his "romance dialogue" triggers when you click on him then you should be okay for the Act 3 make-up.

Also, a while ago there was someone complaining about this and turned out it was some mod that was making the quest not show up in the log and not trigger *shrug* not sure what mod it was though.

The only other thing I can say is to simply do a main plotline quest -- Not The Last Straw though. Sometimes that kind of jump-starts the QB quests for the companions.

@tryynity If the QB quest doesn't trigger, it's usually because the friendship/rivalry isn't high enough. If you haven't already you could give him the blade of mercy and that should bring it up a bit. If it is a bug, and if you're on PC, you could always trigger it using Fenris' debug command runscript zz_fen_debug. I know I've had to do it for Merril in the past when her QB would trigger before her actual quest in act 3.

What Arquen said. His act 3 romance closure is his Questioning Beliefs. It should be for 100% friendship or rivalry. Don't quote me on that. I'll check. I'm pretty positive though.

If your still shy on points you can do main quests until you get to the point where you're in the warehouse to investigate stuff for Orsino. After your conversation with Keran, before you leave, look around. Fenris' final gift is there. So long as you give it to him straight away (aka BEFORE The Last Straw) it should help.

Thank you - it may be that we are not high enough friendship yet. I have only given him a book so far, I thought I did Questioning Beliefs - but maybe that was other companions - IDK its so damn confusing LOL

Im not using MODS other than for DAO - Ive re-rolled a new character this time because I think I missed alot of flirt opportunities and yes I am on PC

I read where ppl say go and visit him heaps - I do but he says some random boring thing - no convos except quest ones.

Its ok Ill muddle through and pay more attention this time thru.

I read one walkthru that says you kill Danarius (ALONE quest I think it was) and then you go back to mansion as long as the red scarf is on his wrist romance is fine.

So all I can think is our friendship is not high enough or I missed some other pre-curser becasue of low friendshp

As far as a good place to start for FenBanners etc., I think the first page of the thread has a post that links to a bunch of art and some sig bars. I know there are more on DeviantArt too, but unless the author gives permission, I'd drop them a quick note first. That said, I know U2QueenBee (Sorry, if you're reading this I forget your name on here!) has given permission for her awesome Fengirl/Fenboy banners.

I, too, am very much enjoying the "closer" feel this thread has to it lately. I've actually gone to (and arranged) meet-ups for our EQ/WoW guild(s) at variou times, and I do love putting faces with names. I suspect we might scare people if we all got together, but in a good way, I hope.

Amusing Hubby Playthru moment - he's doing Alone (and didn't remember doing it on his other PT). He hovers over the "Take him" and gets, from me...

"Don't...you...f*****g dare!" *peer*

By that point, he's giving me the 'duh' look as he's figured out that the 'attack' option actually was the 'Time to Die" selection. (He ended up taking the option I always do..."Fenris belongs to no one!" )

I don't think Hubby was trolling me at that millisecond, but he does tend to troll me from time to time, so...  

He also laughed pretty hard at the "Are we sure he belonged to an Assassin's guild?" comment at the end of the Zev cameo. 

Watching him do a fresh PT is never-ending amusement.

Had this amazing Fenris-related dream last night, and it inspired me to write my very first DA-related fanfic! Its the first time I'm writing something where the characters are not completely my creation, so it'll be interesting to see how I'll fare, but fingers crossed you guys will like it!

Although... its probably not the wisest decision on my part, seeing as I'm in final exam mode. But I'll start on it anyhow.
