Arquen, I don't think you are weird for liking F!Hawke over M!Hawke xD To each her own. Although everything you described about him, the broodiness, the anger, etc. is what turns me off in a man. I can't stand those kinds of guys in real life. That plus his appearance (thin) is what makes it pretty much impossible for me to be "into" him in that way. But regardless, he is my FAVORITE character (of course) and his broodiness becomes all the more adorable when he's being teased by my (HOT N YUMMY) M!Hawke.
ROFL Listen to us, going on like teenagers xD
Hello, you're in the Fenris thread!

We do this daily!

Seriously, though...I don't tend to go for brooders IRL - I've never really been into the dark haunted guy thing. In fact, Hubby is a wonderful (and odd) mix of optimism and cynicism, which is one of the many things I love about him! However, in fantasy, it's tons of fun, and Fenris does happen to fit a mold I find very physically attractive. (I am a very lucky lady - my husband is less muscle and similarly lanky, but yeah...the build similarity (and the eyes if he wears the right color) are there.<3) And that voice...Mmmmm.

Come to think of it, other than Fenris and Nathaniel Howe, I haven't really gone for the broody guys in BW games much. Alistair isn't the type, and the Garrus romance is remarkably low-angst if you aren't going for the love triangle (which I don't). Anders' transformation made me very sad (I assumed I was going to be romancing him until I actually had started the romance in Act II on the 1st PT), and I can't deal with Kaidan, sorry to any Kaidan fans out there. Jacob annoys me for reasons I can't articulate very well, and Thane is interesting character but his story just doesn't resonate with me like those of Fenris, Alistair, or Garrus.
I prefer to play female characters, and I just...can't handle romancing any of the ladies with my females. One of these days, I may have to do an M!Hawke, but I've seen Merrill's and Isy's romances in DA and Liara and Miranda in ME, and my hubby is far more willing to romance the ladies 'for science'.

(I had to laugh - now he's doing a Fem!ShepxLiara - which I can't bring myself to do, darn you, Garrus! - but it is very satisfying to see.)
I think Arquen said she was a game monogamist - I have to agree. I am aware Zev has a good romance from everything I've ever heard, but Dat Alistair...
Back to Fenris - He's really the only LI in DA2 that appeals to me. That might have been different if Varric was romancable (*peers at the devs again*), but I'm not sorry about this fact.
