I think every kid, like every adult, is interested in different things. He has no idea what a Jedi is yet, which makes me sad, but I bought his younger brother a Star Wars ABC book for Christmas, so I hope that'll help.

Anyone found any sort of copy of that article not in German? Probably not, but though I'd ask.

The yahoo bablefish thingy has a "translate webpage" option. It's drastically not perfect, but I can basically make out 98% of what is being written, so maybe if anyone is really interested go and check that out?

I have the magazine and they didn`t say that he is a mage. Its wrong translated, because they were talking about merrill from the dalish origins.

Is Merrill going to be in it? I know the keeper in Dalish Origin is going to , given the fact Flemeth asked Hawk to deliever something to her...

I wonder if this 'package' is Fenris.

Maybe he can do magic althout he is not a mage...he has lyrium in his veins...

Thank you for the clarification. That is the only problem I have with getting info from other languages is that there is the possibility for mistranslations.

The article says:

Als Begleiter sind bisher der Elfen-Magier Fenris und Zwergen-Schurke

Which when put through a free internet translator says:

As a companion Varric are so far the Elf and Dwarf Rogue Mage Fenris the
male side and the Nahkämpferinnen Isabela and in women known to Aveline

This could easilly mess people up. "Elfen-Magier Fenris" ---> "Fenris is an elven mage."
(I'm pretty sure there is an error in the review in this case)

Fenris:(deadpan)  Well, one year my old master and some of his "friends" decided that it would be fun to use their magic to make the birds roosting on the roof explode. They went off like fireworks, only with more feathers.

Varric: You're kidding.

Fenris: Do I look like the kidding type?

Varric: Not really. (notices Fenris is smirking) Heh, your not too bad elf. So have you seen our fearless leader?

Fenris: Last I saw he was with Isabela, two sovereigns says they wake up with no recollection of what happened tonight.

Varric: (smiles) Your quite the optimist elf.

Fenris: Being optimistic doesn't exactly fit in with my lot in life.

Varric: (pats Fenris on the back) Well perhaps the new year will be kinder to you. (sees Hawke and Isabela go dancing past) It looks like it won't be so kind to him in the morning, that's for sure.

Fenris: I would have thought you to be the type who prefered to be taken by drink at these sort of things.

Varric: (shocked) My dear Fenris, to someone like me, drink is all about quallity, not quantity besides in my line of work drink is made all the finer with a good tale. Have I told you the one about the highwayman and the Paragon?

(Varric begins to tell his tale as Fenris picks up a mug of ale)
