It works out cheaper than from Amazon for print books as they ship to Australia for free.

I swear I didn't mean to leave for so damn long, there was Skyrim, and then Christmas, more Skyrim, and then New Years, and then...More...Skyrim

I got Gamer-napped by Bethesda...And all I had to do to get my Fenris fix was find an Imperial camp...

And now there's a book out by the Grand Poohbah...That is difficult to aquire in Aus, as always

I forgive you Tashy, and was wondering about you. 3 months, haha.. I've done this with some fics and after 3 months I honestly tend to give up and figure everyone has forgotten by now. People rant and rave about "unfinished" and "abandoned" fics, and so I try to keep mine bite size because you know.. life and stuff.

I still regret having never put in those extra chapters to my Marric X Fenris fic. I didn't forget, just got really busy with life, and now I'm just zapped of creative energy and motivation. I have a whole bunch of little unfinished things sitting on my hard-drive, but I doubt they will ever see the light of day or completion, *sigh*.

That aside out of the way, *I* forgive you, and I know a lot of people disappeared for Skyrim. I played it, and I liked it, but it did not take me away from Dragon Age or Fenris. Now I'm playing SWTOR, and still... still I live here and post here, though actual real life things are keeping me from the thread these days and all games in general actually.

Hi guys! I'm in desperate need of help. I can't find a complete transcript of Fenris' romance dialogue in the wiki or on youtube (nevermind the fact that everything *other* than the line I'm trying to hunt down has been recorded and posted multiple times) and I need it for an idea for a fic.

In the conversation with Fenris after Alone, when he apologises, there's an investigate option that is something like "I need to know why you left, Fenris"; then we can ask a second investigate, "what would you have said?"; but then every single video I've seen hits the "I forgive you" option (or the heartbreak one), and I'm trying to find out what the dialogue is if Hawke goes with the third investigate "Tell me why.". Has anyone done this/found a transcript/video/anything? If so, what is Hawke's actual line and Fenris' reply?

I've only just started Act 2 on my second playthrough, my first playthrough is an Anders romance, and if I wait all the way to Act 3 I'll be rushing which I really don't want to do. Thanks a ton!

Fenris: Nothing could be worse than the thought of living without you.

Hawke (  You're forgiven): I understand, I always understood.

Fenris: If there is a future to be had I will walk into it gladly at your side.

I came across that vid (and countless others like it, both friendship and romance) but the option I'm looking for would be between "Nothing could be worse than the thought of living without you". and ([smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/heart.png[/smilie] You're forgiven).

It's (? - Tell me why.) only no one seems to choose it in any vid I've ever seen.

The "tell me why" option I was asking about is actually a loop back to "I need to understand why you left, isn't it? *huge facepalm moment* I thought Hawke would make Fenris tell him/her why nothing could be worse than the thought of living without him/her.
I've been hunting for it for a whole day...

Hee.. oh my.. shenanigans. I have that convo memorized, and there are a TON of people who choose the "tell me why" option, because his answer is so delicious. I always choose it. I think on only one PT I didn't, but that is because I have it memorized by heart, LOL. Too bad I didn't see this earlier.

As for Femris, LOL. I dislike most Femris. People tend to draw Femris in sexy clothing/ revealing armor, giant bewbies, and just in general nothing like Fenris at all except for lyrium brands and a grumpy face.

I have to agree that Tashy's Femris link is one of my favorites as well.

So yeah.. it's just a total and complete cracky fantasy -- the whole genderbender thing. Still, it isn't Fenris, and so I don't see Femris as anything but a completely separate thing altogether. Though, it stems from the idea that everyone looks at their friends/lovers/people they know at one point or another and asks "hmm, I wonder what you would look like if you were {insert opposite gender here}."

I admit that out of the three in that pic only Sebastionette looks like her character, Femris and Anderessa don't really look the part - not even their clothes/armor match.

Genderbending...I'm kinda 'Meh' about the whole thing, it's hard to find it done really well, especially in fanfiction.

Agreed, Agreed, and besides I much prefer the original and his original gender is male. It's like changing their appearance, but even moreso. The characters were made a certain way and were created to be exactly who and what they are. When you mess with their appearances, gender, personality, etc.. they become someone completely different altogether.

It's just a "people are gonna do what they are gonna do, meh." thing with me too.

Fenris's classic inquisitive look. I love that look. He has it a lot of the time, but when he is having a conversation, or asking Hawke something, and is thinking it over. This look. Yeah, it is a favorite of mine.

Oh god the oil paints...the horror. Anyway I might be the odd one out but I like gender benders when they are done right. Something about seeeing through a characters eyes how they would react to their social standards and expectations pushed on them.
That  sorta becomes a mind bend when you think about how our wardens, shepards and hawkes were all technically male due to advertising and cover art. But thats another subject. I don't know why, I just always like the gender-bending ones. Although it is disappointing to see Fenris turned into a girl, I always think they are just really creative and often very amusing.
