That secretive little touch of humour he has such as when he talks to Varric - so adorable!! I have to agree with his half-smiles - so sexy! And finally it would have to be that oh-so sexy voice of his...

 
2. What was your favorite scene with Fenris? Why?

I love the way during his first QB he exerts all his anger in throwing that wine bottle at the wall, and how, as he says, he takes that cute sort of pleasure out of it. I really don't know why I like this scene so much, but with sarcastic Hawke it is hilarious when she says "that was a waste" he mentions theres more (ngaww such a gentleman!) and the line she says: "perish the thought, how else would you redecorate the walls?" and then there queues Fenris' laughter - so cute!!

4. Who is sexier Fenris or Zev?  
Definitely Fenris! I've never been a Zev girl at all to be truthful.

The last scene with his kisses my Hawke. Why because his emotions are there for all to see. I feel that's a big step for Fenris.

Though to that topic, aldien -- there isn't a lot of broody in Origins, BUT Alistair will have some a) in the beginning and if you can bring yourself to be mean to him. But there's no rivalmance in Origins, alas. That's one of the things I really like about the DA2 mechanics, that your companions stay with you because they respect you, but you can have different types of friendship depending on how your beliefs mesh. Origins has the more old school style of like/dislike.

Off to do more catch up!

Oh wait, that doesn't really answer the question, does it? I guess items 2 and 3 can be... 2)  the half-smile and the fact that he laughs at all the RIDICULOUS things that sarcastic!Hawke says. (I agree with dangereusegirl, I spend a lot of time trying to make him laugh.) 3) Wall. Slam. *ahem* To attempt to be more articulate, I like his anger and power - he's so dangerous, yet so gentle with Hawke. Except when he's not.

Though AbsoluteApril is right on track with the way he looks at Hawke from under his hair. Love that too.
I haven't finished a Fen romance playthrough yet, but y'all have me looking forward to that Gallows kiss! My my.

Who is sexier Fenris or Zev?

Well that's just... MEAN. How can you make me choose? Sexy voice, double check. Magnatism, double check. Pointy ears, double check.

I guess I will have to say... if I was going to tramp through the mud having multi-year adventures, I would take Zevran, because he's highly entertaining in AND out of the sack. But if we're talking pure melt factor, then it's undoubtedly Fenris - his combination of animal magnitism and vulnerability is hard to resist. So I guess Fenris wins on the sexy scale, Zevran on the entertainment scale. Though as I mentioned, if I could put the both of them together.... mmm.

(I know a lot of people are put off by Zevran's shag-everything attitude, but IMO one of the most charming things about him is that towards the end when he starts to develop feelings for the Warden, he STOPS sleeping with her/him. That broke my heart a little. He's a victim of his assassin training, and the Warden has to teach him that sex and love can happen together. D'aw.)

It's been awhile since i was here, but since i'm doing another Fenris romance playthrough (due to Fenris withdrawal), I thought i'd drop in. *waves at everyone* Oh how i hope Bioware does another DLC, so i can get some new Fenris lines. I always like to think of characters in their underwear.  My writing/role-playing friend and I have intense, thought out discussions about what kind of underwear our guys wear and how big (or little) their sweet lovesticks are.  Ehem.

I like to think that Fenris' is size appropriate ... and Fenris is a fairly little dude, soooo 

Also, he can afford Gucci because he's married to Hawke now.  S/he can buy him some for Solstice <3

I am so in agreement about the commando. I've always seen it that way, which makes Isabela's prodding concerning the color of his underclothes very entertaining. I can just see Hawke snickering.

How do you think Fenris would approach romance once he was was back with Hawke? Would he know what to do as far as the little things go. (And I don't mean the little things Moto like presents, setting the mood, picnics, you get the idea. Do you think he would seek advice? And what do you think Fenris would consider a romantic setting? Does he even have a romantic side???

I'm interested to know what everyone thinks. Sorry, if I am ruining the errrrrr underwear debate. LOL. Oh I am so in need of comic relief right now. Ahhhhhh!


I want to go back this weekend and tally up what everyone picked for the top three things they loved about Fenris. I bet anything there were three that were mentioned several times.

For some reason, I love the convo after 'Alone' when Hawke tells him "You have me" and he touches Hawke's face. The look on his face is just....Mmmmmm.....*drifts of dreamily*

You know what? We'd do whatever he wanted. I can imagine he'd just want a quiet day in, snuggling.

I have to say Zev, given my definition of 'sexy'. Fenris isn't blatent enough about his looks - and I like him that way!

As for the romance....oh man he I so want to say he'll go to Varric, because the man needs his story fodder. But I might steer towards Donnic because the man is married to a stubborn woman who is a closet romantic.
ROmantic setting aside...have no clue. I mean the man's voice is romance on his own. He could say the dirtest raunchiest, foul mouthed thing he would do to hawke and it still come out lovely....in Arcaanum or Common.

Sorry got lost....as for romantic setting....I say drinking wine ontop the dilapited mansion roof on a summer night.

What, what, why you look at me like that 

Okay, how would he approach the romance after getting back together with Hawke?  I think he would let himself go (emotionally) a bit more (only when alone together).  I think he'd be more apt to relax in Hawke's embrace.  He would talk more about his past.  He would be more vulnerable.  

As for the little things: I think if he saw something that he thought Hawke might like, he would absolutely save up to buy it, and feel tense/nervous as he's giving it to him/her and perhaps snap at Hawke if s/he makes a joke about what he sees as a deeply romantic gesture lol

I think he would definitely seek romantic advice, mostly from Varric and Isabela, also Donnic and Aveline.  (Most especially those two).  I think he'd be desperately afraid of screwing things up again, so he'd constantly chastise himself for doing things incorrectly, forgetting important dates, getting the wrong gift, etc.  

Does he have a romantic side: I think he is deeply romantic.  He is a one man/woman guy after all.  He is also hyper concerned with keeping Hawke happy and by his side.  I think he would fumble with romance though.  Which is perfectly fine because none of my Hawke's I see as being particularly romantic kind of guys.  But they'd appreciate the effort.  Diplomatic Hawke would find Fenris' efforts adorable; so would sarcastic Hawke, but he'd probably tease him more.
