Lovely drawing as usual miss April. Though I do totally see him in boxer briefs, I also think some hip-cut briefs would be an excellent choice. Always red though.. not sure.. just what I imagine him to wear. He looks good in red.. heh.

I somewhat agree with moto on this one actually. I think Fenris would be more relaxed around Hawke, and would be able to open up more emotionally. I think as far as presents or romantic gifts, or trying to do romantic things for Hawke would be rather out of the question, though. He is protective, but he doesn't dote on Hawke. He seems like the kind of person who would think such things frivolous and useless. If there was something that had meaning, though. Something he saw or found that reminded him of Hawke, or had some kind of emotional impact on him I think he would buy it and give it as a gift. Along the lines of the blade of mercy or the book of Shartan (things that have meaning) -- I think he would only give such gifts as these.

As for romantic side -- I think he has a deeply seated romantic side, along with his sardonic side. I don't think he would go to anyone for advice about it. I don't see him doing romantic picnics or over-the-top showing up at Hawke's mansion with a sonnett or a song or anything like that. It might simply be that he would ask Hawke to go somewhere with him because it means a lot to him. Also, I see him enjoying staying in a lot and being alone with Hawke just doing nothing at all. I think he would be the most comfortable this way.. when he can relax and simply be with Hawke, and not have to worry about other things. He's still growing emotionally and socially, and I think while he enjoys Hawke's company and is comfortable around Hawke it will be a LONG time before he could get used to any kind of PDA or even just small romantic gestures. He's honest and blunt, and he would simply tell you how he feels with no theatrics or frivolous extras.

About Fenris being a romantic: I think he has a romantic side, but I agree with Arquen he won't show it in very... flamboyant ways. He'll still be a bit shy about it, wanting to do the right things and showing Hawke how much he cares, but at the same time afraid he is not doing it right. I think both Hawke and Fenris won't say "I love you" very often, but they do show their affection in other, more subtle ways. Fenris will give Hawke a lot of smoldering looks. 
I don't really see Fenris getting gifts for Hawke. He wouldn't really know what to buy, I guess, and don't find it that necessary. Maybe he would get a book they can read together. That I can imagine.

I agree about this -- I think Fenris' blunt and pragmatic side would make him less prone to romantic gestures. But I think he would look for gifts or actions that had real meaning for the two of them.

And while I can see him maybe possibly talking to Donnic if he has questions, I can't imagine him going to Varric or one of the regular companions -- too personal. I think he'd be embarrassed for them to see any insecurity on his part. I DO think that he would keep his ears open for tidbits that they might drop -- he'd just never admit to it.

Hehehe, love this. About that scene, though - as soon as I realized that a rogue could basically say "I don't need to get any closer" and hurl a dagger into the slaver's eye... I have a hard time not doing that, just because it is awesome.

And then when you tell Feynriel to stop fussing, because you're never wrong, he says: "Well, that must be convenient." I laughed loud enough to startle my cats.
