It hasn't been confirmed, but some people have suggested that Fenris is the male voice at about 2:53 here. It's not Varric and it's not M!Hawke. Of course, we don't know what Carver or "Anders" sounds like. Heck, it could be some random NPC with a sexy voice -- though there's a definite accent that we haven't heard before in DA.

Lineage is a Korean MMORPG I think (unless Lucy is referring to a different Lineage), in which case no, it doesn't have much to do with Castlevania.

Damn, Lords of Shadow was such a gorgeous game though, and stuffed full of references to just about everything.

And from what I've seen, I have to agree. The level design was absolutely jaw-dropping - it was one of the games I don't mind just sitting and watching someone else play because it was just so damn pretty.

@Gnas - I'm sure all Fengirls are with you on that one. DG's comment about him having an unusual accent made me race through about seven emoticons in quick succession. Need voice actor info NAO.

You know, I'm almost certain it's Fenny at 2:53. Such a distinct voice couldn't belong to a random NPC or Hawke's little bro.

Just yesterday I thought of the perfect derpicorn for Fenny - that random talking horse from the horse riding scene in Castlevania, Lord of Shadows (I don't know if the horse has a name, I was just watching someone else play it and immediately thought of my favourite glowing elf.) 


I don't have a better picture, unfortunately. But it's also a glowing horse! Just slap a rainbow-coloured alicorn on there and Fenny has his ride around Kirkwall.

Are you using Corel Painter, perchance? It default saves as RIF, but you can get it to save as JPEG too. Just go 'save as' on your work, and under the 'file name' option there's a 'save as type' dropdown menu - you can choose what format you want to save as there, including JPG.

I know, I hate coloring with Gimp, i have to make all the colors really light so you can see the base lines

I haven't tried GIMP or PaintTool, though I have both - Corel Painter and Photoshop are my art-making software of choice. GIMP has layers though, doesn't it? Layers make everything easier when it comes to separating lining and colouring. I can't even remember how I coloured before I discovered them.

Painttool SAI is also GREAT. The only fact that you can rotate the picture around by only pressing a button makes things a hell lot easier.

I also have Photoshop CS5 and i must say it's really damn good if you afford it.

But other than that, LAYERS! As PoisonTheCity said.

Btw, Chris said in another thread that LIs might not be revealed until shippment...cause that's what they did for DA:O and there is no plan to change this now.

Btw, Chris said in another thread that LIs might not be revealed until shippment...cause that's what they did for DA:O and there is no plan to change this now.

I think that the only one that they didn't reveal were the same-sex LI, because I clearly remember Morrigan and Alistair being confirmed before the day of release, way before.

I remember Alsitair being announced as a LI way before the release too. Aimo made a comic on how nobody was interested in him before they found out he is a LI.

Or they could just crush our hopes and dreams with an outright negative statement. But it's more possible that they'll just add more confusion because they just love torturing us.

I may sound ridiculous here (and this may have already been brought up before), but I'm a bit disappointed so far that no definite male romance has been announced. They said Isabela would be for either gender (probably because that was already discovered in Origins), but I'm wondering if a female Hawke is going to have any men to look at. And yeah, fangirl that I am, I was hoping it would be Fenris. Possibly anyway, considering nobody knows how he's going to act yet.

Varric: Yeah elf, I kind of noticed that.

Fenris: What do you suppose they want?
