Oh wait... is Fenris taller than FHawke? He is always hunched over so I can't tell but in the getting it on picture up there it looks like he is standing up straight and she is on her tip toes.

DId you do something to Fenris's eyes?

Yeah, I have an eye mod which changes all characters eyes in the game (literally everyone even insignificants). It just makes them more real and vibrant.
Oh and btw....If you have nightmares tonight, I have done well!! :3

Fenris's eyes look vampirish or is that just me? Hey, I survived a tornado today! Feeling a bit less daring so I think I'll go play legacy and see someone else's life in jeopardy for a change.

Who are the best companions to have with Fenris in the company?

It depends on the banter you want - rival banter, take Anders or Merrill, annoying take Sebastian and relaxed, joking, take Isabella and Varric.

I'm glad you got through the tornado alright - those things can be scary and, yes you are right about Fenris' eyes

Who are the best companions to have with Fenris in the company?

I'm partial to these combos:

1.  Fenris + Isabela + Varric (if Hawke is Mage) - love their banter/teasing. If Fenris is romanced, Isabela flirts with Varric.
2.  Fenris + Varric + Sebastian (if Hawke is Mage) - spiritual discussions  - Although the conversations are mostly serious, Fenris seems less broody/insolent. Fenris actually sounds reflective.

3.  Fenris + Avaline + Varric (if Hawke is Mage) - Avaline is a big sister - their conversations feel like 'family'. I can hear Fenris smiling when he talks to her.

4.  Fenris + Bethany + Varric - Fenris is often tender and there's a lot of levity in banter.

Truth is - I like to have Fenris + Varric and whomever in my party because of the banter and because I raise Varric's attributes so high he can open almost any lock. 

When I'm not playing mage, I usually prefer Bethany over Anders (because she's my little sister), but often you'd find Anders in my party (I build his healing high). I like it when Fenris is tender - which is why Avaline, Varric, Bethany, Sebastian and Isabela are complimentary.

i don't like Merrill in my party because everyone seems to hate her (I hate that they pick on her, so I don't include her much ).  I don't use Avaline as much because I feel guilty taking her away from Donnic and she seems tired a lot . I don't use Carver much because he creates too much tension when Fenris is around.

Right now mage Hawke going through with Fenris, Carver and Merrill - talk about a crazy double date! All are rivaled. There are some cute flirty lines between Carver and Merrill.

Anders is good to take for some interesting things to happen, well all of them are good, I suggest all. So.. as you can see, I am no help at all.

last time I took Fenris, Anders and Sebastian, some very interesting convos with Fenris and Seb all buddy buddy ('you're cool bro!' 'no, man, you are!' *brofist*)

Honestly, it was f'ing scary. Twenty miles away got the worst of it. I'm not in Tennessee but I am in Kentucky, Kemz. I will be praying for your family. I've already prayed for mine more than three time today. Sorry if that offends anyone.

I just went through hell and back and I wasn't even at the center of it. Louisville was hit hard here. Actually, not twenty miles away from where I am was devastated. Tornadoes are so localized. We lost power earlier today, but it came back before expected. I am surprised we have it now. Funny considering we can go days in winter with ice storms. Anyway, bad comparison.

Okay, sorry. I'm just letting the tongue loose. Let's have some fun. Going for Varric, Isabella, Fenris for some light-hearted banter. Thanks for the suggestions. I really appreciate it!

Probably do another run through with Sebastian later.

You make me want to start from the beginning again. A new Hawke? I could do it. Maker I could so do another round of DA2 right now. Okay....so what do you think is the best type of Hawke to pair with Fenris? Mage, Rogue or Warrior?

And why?

I think any Hawke is best for Fenris

I do like mage!Hawke the most, however, simply because the dynamics between the two are so interesting. The way their romance plays out, its like Hawke is proving that all of Fenris' misconceptions about all mages being evil monsters were incorrect. To me, mage speaks much louder than a warrior or rogue when it comes to the Fenris romance.

Not to say that the others are bad. A mage Hawke just tends to speak to me more

I like mage with him, I know it's quirky, but I feel he responds better to a mage simply because it is so ingrained in his psyche to please a mage, like it or not, that is what he was bred and trained to do.

despite some fans Ive come across calling mage!hawke the mary sue with Fenris....I still go with it mostly due to I don't trust no one but me reviving in that game...also beauty and the beast scanerio killing him with kidness...who said that on here??

Re: the other topic of discussion, I will be the voice of dissent here, and say that I think the Fenris/mage pairing seems a little sad, to me... As was pointed out earlier, Fenris is trained to please mages, so pairing him to another makes me sort of uncomfortable. I feel like it's too close to putting him back into a subservient role. I'm much happier pairing Fenris with a sarcastic rogue Hawke. It's new territory for him, with less bad baggage. YMMV, of course, but since you asked... that's what I personally prefer.

When I set my f!Hawke on Warrior, I found it more difficult to romance Fenris. I don't know why. In the end, he bowed to me instead of kissed although he was wearing the red sash and our friendship was 100%. Weird.

Well, I agree with you on that. The whole "trained to please mages" thing can bring some nasty implications about, especially considering the nasty implications that came with Danarius in "Alone"... so I usually pair Fenris with a rogue. (The exception being my Male Hawke, Zack, but that one was done with that in mind.)

If you want Fenris to be the one who talks about your father, you can't have your sibling with you. Nor Anders, I believe. Then Fenris will initiate conversation about Malcolm. It's on the wiki as well, so you can look it up there to be sure.

THanks ren I keep forgetting that...also to keep this Fenris related I am desperate to not paint him in my masterpiece parody of an Ingres' Odalisque piece staring at Hawke....Although it would be damn tempting to put him in the background. Sadly my teacher doesnt get game references so instead I got catwoman as the main figure.

Also yeah Im starting to feel like a dick choosing mage over rouge...but the fighting mechanics. Plus Fenris chatting with Carver perks me uup looking at those two. Sorta like a impish brother getting under his sister's bo' skin.

I like the whole Fenris/mage Hawke thing, especially with an agressive Hawke. That makes it seem like Hawke is always in control except alone with Fenris where he/she can relax and let Fenris be in control. It is a rest, a break for Hawke and, makes Fenris feel like the real lover and cofidant he can be.

Fenris, despite his general mistrust of magic, does get what it is to lose everyone and to be disliked or feared simply because of one detail about yourself and, that fits well with a mage. A warrior is more like a best buddy with benefits, a rogue is a battle mate but doesn't feel as much like a soul mate as a mage.

Ok, I wasn't able to resist patching and playing through just the first part of Legacy to hear the dialogue... Kind of hilarious, because now instead of the party tromping around in silence, they *won't shut up*. It's awesome. You can run back and forth across the conversation trigger points over and over, too, and they'll work every time (at least until they run out of things to say).
I took Fenris and Varric and Bethany. It was great. (Especially the "Thank you for asking me to come along again..." bit.)
