Maybe it's not to torment us... maybe it's really out of love! Ser Gaider doesn't want to tell us the VA because otherwise we might overload youtube playing samples of the guy's voice hundreds of times and end up making ourselves sick of that voice thereby lessening our love for Fenris when we finally hear him in the game! There's also the risk that we'll get a bad first impression of the VA by listening to him out of context. It all fits!

Either that or Gaider just doesn't want to put up with our whining for the next two months if we don't like the chosen VA.

Edit - @Minxie - Hah, yes, I think it's a mix of the latter and them wanting to keep us hooked as we wait for new dev posts. And, of course, their insatiable desire for our tears.

But yes, once/if we learn of those two things, I think I'll try to avoid spoilers for him entirely. Knowing who does his VA makes writing smut so much easier, too.

Yes, the First Law trilogy. Which is based on medieval Europe. Just like Dragon Age.
It's something a bit hard to avpoid when both series were based on the same period, don' t you think?

I can actually picture that so perfectly. Awesome.

As for any resemblances to Fenris in other media, I'm going to wait until we see him in-game to pass any real judgement.

But anyway, I said that it was the one thing I didn't mind at all.. In all kinds of movies/games is very common to see references from literature now and then (how totally lovely would it be if there was a mage who looked like Gandalf as a companion? )

I didn't like him because.... Because... He lacks the mojo :/
