 By the Maker, a Fenris x FemHawke pic I actually like!  I love how he is snuggling into her embrace!!  It's so cute!  They are such a sweet couple in that pic!

Aww, thank you!  No, I don't think I'll be adding more  I don't have much time for fic-writing these days.  Oh, my Hawke is ALWAYS adorable  He has a cute little boy's face, too; so charming on that big masculine body of his, hahaha xD  I always think of M!Hawke as being a little unsure of himself, but very much about protecting those he loves, no matter what it takes.  FemHawke I see as being a bit more assertive than her masculine counterpart, probably because I love strong women!!

Glad to see it wasn't just me noticing that, at least. Although, I'm really picky when it comes to things with Fenris. I tried reading a few fanfics with him in them, and barely got in at all before I gave up. For some reason I never seem to agree with how they're portraying him. I'm not even talking about dominant/sub/whateverelse, but more like... some of them seem to have too much of his aggressive side, others too much Mope and Brood(even for him)... and none of the ones I found seem to add in his lovely sense of humor. smilie maybe I just have bad luck with fics.  

For the drawing -- Please please please, with sugar on top? And share it here? That would be awesome. And hilarious.
And re: fic... that is exactly why I started writing my own story! Fenris is such an interesting character -- his motivations are hinted at, but only expressed in the game with really BROAD strokes, so everyone puts their own subtext on him. Which is part of what makes him interesting, that he allows that sort of customization. But its why I started writing my own thing, because I have very specific ideas about him and his relationship to Hawke.
Of course, then I started writing the story from Hawke's perspective, and usually she doesn't know what's going on in his head, so I'm not sure that it's helpful. But I do strive to cover both the agressive and broody/unsure sides of his personality. I'm struggling to get his humor in there, but that's because I find it hard to write, not because I don't love that he has it.  That is not meant as an advertisement, sorry -- just so say that I know what you mean. And that his character allows for a lot of different stuff! Everyone has their own theories.

Sex is not that much of a power struggle, is it? I don't see why Fenris would never ever be top, even with the most dominant and aggressive Hawke. And a person who is always in charge could enjoy being led instead of leading being the leader in a personal, romantic setting. It's not that black and white, in my opinion.

I would say for some people sex IS that much about power. But that isn't the case for everyone. They say that people who are very powerful and have a lot of responsibility in their everyday life have a tendency to want to give up that power in the bedroom. And I could totally see this leading to a Hawke who wants to give sexytime power to Fenris. Hawke has so much on his/her shoulders!
I think though, as has been mentioned before, erotic fic tends to exaggerate what's normal. So you might have a hint of power play in a normal relationship, and write fic where there's a LOT of it. That's just kind of the nature of the beast.

*Giggle/snort*  This made my night @Ghost.  Funny thing is, I have just been playing in Act2 tonight, and I have been dragging around Issy with Fen, and more than once I walked into her to force a collision check whenever she started flirting with him.  My current Hawke is snarky and loves Issy, but she is SO not appreciating her piratey ways!!  HA!

I admit though, normally I find the flirting funny and sort of endearing....go figure.

Just trying to lose my ME woes.

I was just about to put on DA2 for a little Fen loving, and thought I would drop by. Lovely picture @Ghost.
Can't believe this thread is almost at the 2000 mark. It's interesting; the Ander's thread has more posts, but the Fenris thread has a lot more "viewed". Don't know where I was going with that, but.............

I had been playing DA2 a lot recently, so excited that I finally figured out how to switch Fenris' body with that of the generic Dalish archer's (forget armor exchanging; can't figure it out). But after the romance, Fenris put his old ugly (to me) armor back on and wouldn't let me replace it with the Dalish armor.

I'm just so fed up with the whole situation that I refuse to play DA2 again until we get another DLC or I get the chance to swap armor on my companions. Such a massive fail on their part.

I was surprised, I thought for sure there would be at least one more, it sounded like they were hinting at it since it 'wasnt the end of Hawke's story' but alas.

They even had shirts made - the expansion was called Exalted March.  Total Bummer.  Apparently they decided to allocate resources to DA3.  Get your 2 cents in now on the Mark Darrah thread - he's taking input!
