Lol If Fenris is the villian I will be so sad...

Femme hawke- Fenris, we're together at last!

Fenris-Behind you! A darkspawn!

Femme Hawke- ~brandishes sword~ Where? I see nothing! ~SHINK~

Femme Hawke stares at the big metal piece protruding from her chest.

Femme Hawke- ~Hand covered with blood~ Why Fenris Why??

Fenris- My name is not Fenris! it is AHCKABABlalHAHABabala of the lady Flemeth! This was her plan all along!

Femme Hawke- GOD NOOOOoooo, Betrayed by an elf!

Fenris- Sleep now, human woman! Your time is at an end

Femme Hawke- ~Knows the blade is enchanted and she will resurrect for her revenge!~

Hmm, now this makes me wonder... not exactly related but close enough...

What if the Magister that did what s/he did to poor Fenris had some sort of control over him? Like a golem? S/He can order Fenris to attack and kill Hawke if s/he finds Fenris and poor Fenny can't do anything about it...

@Haley Starshine, let's assumed BW never know about the First Law trilogy. Most of those name were based on Mythologies in Europe and usually shared the same language root. Chances of them come up with something that's already in other series are pretty high.

That just me saying.

But the guy has the same name and concept lol

But anyway, I said that it was the one thing I didn't mind at all.. In all kinds of movies/games is very common to see references from literature now and then (how totally lovely would it be if there was a mage who looked like Gandalf as a companion? :D)

I didn't like him because.... Because... He lacks the mojo :/

I think in that case I will have my reservation until they announce the full back story about him.

Varric: So, my glowing friend, I've thought up a way or two to spice up your life with Hawke...

Fenris: Andraste's blood! Not this again! My romantic life with her is quite fine without your suggestions.

Carver: *horrified* Romantic life? SPICE!?

Varric: Yes, dear boy. The spice must flow....anyway. I would think reading this Antivan romance would be quite helpful.

Carver
: *snatches book, and flips through it* What in the Maker's name is an "Antivan milk sandwich"? *reads on, turns red* ...........................

Fenris
: C-Carver? Are you alright? Have your virgin eyes seen too much?

Carver: *gulp* My sister is a virtuous woman, she'd never--

Varric
: Exactly. I've read somewhere that the most virtuous have the strongest desires---

Fenris
: Enough! I am tired of your disingenuous assertions, Varric. *storms off.*

Hmm, indeed; I doubt he can be granted much mojo from what we've seen of him (a few screenshots, a blurry video capture, a short bio...), besides what our imaginations conjure. ^_^

I've been lurking around, so I think it's about time I post.

Has any one thought, that his tattoos might be a spirit or something? As in, it's bonded to him? That what it makes me think off. Gawd, I hope I'm saying it right....

PS: PoisonTheCity, I totally love you sig. FOR SCIENCE! XD

That was the basis of the Fen'Harel theory.

Ser Gaider squished it.

I swear that reading throughout some 15 pages of this thread I tried hard to get to like this character... And I don't even bother with the fact that he was taken from another fantasy world that doesn't relate at all with DA.

Couldn't find the mojo, though... And I'm a girl...

(Where in Thedas are the manly humans so far? Aveline will have to make do I guess =P)

I have no idea how reading a fan thread would help you like a character. He's simply a good-looking, brooding blank slate at this point. Come back when there's an actual character to like.

Haley Starshine wrote...

Nope.. He is a character from a fantasy book by a writer called Joe Abercrombie

Comparing Joe's Fenris to this Fenris is like saying Harry Potter is a rip-off of Gandolf.

That said, I wouldn't mind if Joe wrote Fenris as a love interest. The anal fingering scene in Best Served Cold had me in stitches.

Well....my Hawke would be virtuous, as it is more my personality. And I put two references in my post: CAN YOU FIND THEM?!

Poor Carver, it could be worse he could have gotten "the talk" from Isabela

Carver:
Fenris, you said that the lyrium burned into your skin wiped away your memories.

Fenris: Yes, and getting them was the most painful thing that you could possibly imagine.

Carver: Do you know were I could get lyrium burned into my skin?

Fenris: (shocked) Why in the Maker's name would you ever want to submit yourself to such torment?

Carver: Because no pain imaginable can be any worse than the image that Isabela BURNED INTO MY MIND!

Varric: Did she tell you the story about that one time with your cousin and the red-headed bard? That's a classic that is.

Carver:  (rocking back and forth in the fetal positon) Cannot unsee...cannot unsee

(The cousin in question is M!Arnell)

Please, please, please don't do the page count thing. It's annoying as an all getout. Just say something about your favorite elf.

Like...

I hope all eye colors are that clear and pretty in CC.
