That wasn't a kind reminder! And Fenris is right! He's trying to talk some sense into Hawke, plus I kind of got the feeling he was referring to himself. Actually it is one of the few times I can think of in the game when someone sounds concerned for Hawke's safety.

Okay, perhaps not that kind, but I felt it was spot-on. And usually trouble just happens, and Hawke stumbles into it. That's not realy a lifestyle.

You are top. Are you going to do another pretty pic spam?:innocent:

Since we were talking about Isabela and a few other characters I thought I'd post this one. One of my all time favs, simply because that is exactly what I'd want him to do after a battle. I don't know if you can see it, but Isabela has her 'rock on' hand going on while she's watching Kirkwall burn.

I looked and I looked and I looked and now I am traumatized. There are just some things I don't want to see and usually I want to see everything!

Here is the link: browse.deviantart.com/

It was by ~DarianaLoki

Anyway, that took forever!

I found something I thought was very pretty and have decided to pic spam more. by

Also, that's a lovely Fen portrait there, aldien.

Oh, yeah, would you happen to have any full-size Fenris screenies? I'm curious to see what the rest of that armour looks like on him.

I will pic spam us to 2k if I must ;) We will get there!

Anyway, you are going to be very disappointed when I show you the full body of this armor mod I use. It is simplistic, but I still love it.

Hawke says: Fenris stop looking at your damn feet.

Hawke says: Fenris stop looking at my arse

Hawke says: No, Fenris we are not having sex tonight.

Hawke says: I can't say no when you look at me like that. Alright... but let's make it a quickie.

LOL! And I know the studs go all the way down. Just a feeling :D

OKAY! Here are two serious questions. These are something I've always wanted to ask people. I learned two weeks ago that you could go back to Darktown after Leandra's death and torture Gascard. I never knew this! Anyway, Fenris does some great torture techniques, though through part of it he looks quite sad. I did it once and vowed never to do it again. Felt like I was using Fenris. Anyway, I have a picture here of when he is torturing Gascard and his lyrium is probably being used to its fullest.

Do you notice how his hair holds some semblance to Varania's color? It's a strawberry blonde. Well, that is what I would call it. Do you think this is his natural hair color?

I will ask the other question later.

Yes....I have done this a few times.  Interesting that you see him as being sad.....I always took that as his "empathy" for you, and the loss of your mother.  Bad thing about this little side content, is that the game will glitch, and act like you let Gascard go.  You will  get a letter from him, even if you torture and murder knife him.  I only do this scene when rping certain Hawkes.

*Edit*

Typos.  Also, great pic spams!  love them!Posted Image

I was talking about the faces he makes during the torture. He seems to sometimes look emotional or kind of sad. I took it as being empathetic that he would be willing to help until I saw his face change during the actual torture. Maybe I'm seeing thigns. Wouldn't surprise me.

I actually did this quest the wrong way. I told the templars about Gascard (because I didn't trust that he was innocent) but then I went directly to Quentin and skipped the Dark Town part so never met Gascard. So when I realized Gascard wasn't part of it (didn't metagame yet), I went to the Gallows to ask the templar (forgot her name), she said they already executed Gascard! So I was horrified because I totally thought they executed an innocent man. And it's all my Hawke's fault.

So I rushed to the wiki and found out Gascard wasn't innocent at all and could even turn on you. And when I read that you can let Fenris torture him, I wanted to redo it. Too bad I already did a lot of stuff after that quest so was too lazy to reload. Will try it sometime.

In case you don't already know this, try the following too:
1) go to Gascard's home and let him live/leave
2) when it's time to try and find momma hawke, go immediately to Darktown, and have Gascard show you the way to your mom.  KEY:  Make sure Varric is in your party.
3) follow the normal path to it's destination and see some fun.

Never knew about torturing Gascard...Don't think that's something any of my Hawkes would be willing to do, even if he is a bastard. I got him the first time I met him.

Concerning Fenris' hair colour, that's probably just a fluke of lightning. Varania's colour is a lot more than strawberry blonde: she's downright red, like Aveline. On the other hand, Fenris' eyebrows are black. Now, I've never met a natural redhead with black eyebrows, so my guess is that his natural hair colour is either black or dark brown. Not red though.

In fact, I find Varania's hair colour so jarring that I've modded it to be black and her skin to be a tad darker. She actually looks related to Fenris that way.

If you stick to her natural appearance though, the only plausible justification IMO is that her and Fenris have different fathers (but obviously the same mother). I wouldn't put it past Danarius to have mated his slaves to see if any could produce promising offspring ><

So I just did this (can't believe I didn't know about this already, but thanks for the heads up), and I will admit that I think Fenris looks a bit sad. I also felt a bit strange about asking him to torture someone for me. Kind of feels like something Danarius would do.
