@Aldien: Careful thats dangerzone fiction fodder....although my stance is once blood gets in leather it is hard to remove. So I get the feeling he be near meticulous or ocd cleaning it as an afterthought from being with Danarius.

The idea that his markings will show through anything is a ridiculous plot hole; I mean, are we to believe that if Fenris walks behind a thin wall he will still glow through?!  It's pretty stupid IMO.  So, I gnore that.  Or perhaps he means when he "activates" the markings, THEN they'd glow through.  They don't glow at all in their "normal" state.  Bad writing, that.

The whole one night stand scene is also pretty ridiculous; sure, they're making out passionately OUTSIDE Hawke's house.  Then what?  They break and make a run for it, through the foyer, the living area, up the stairs, past the opening, and finally into Hawke's bedroom?  It was just silly.  We needed more conversation after that kiss.  Maybe Hawke finally breaking the kiss, smiling adoringly at Fenris, and taking his hand, saying, "Come on..."  Fenris looks down, as if unsure, but he takes his/her hand anyway... and there the scene could fade to black (since the writers were apparently adamantly against giving us a bedroom scene of any sort ... yep, Fenris is the only Companion who doesn't even MAKE IT INTO THE BEDROOM for his romance.)

Ow.  I need to stop typing.

 GUYS. GUYS.  I know a lot of you like Fenris in his original outfit, but I recently put him in the same outfit as Athenril (you remember the one?), and he looks ... AMAZING!!  The cool thing about it are that the "boots" are still bare feet, AND the exposed skin of the upper arm and wrist have ... tattoos!!  They're a bluish white color, too.  So it even works; I can pretend those are his lyrium tattoos.

I snapped a photo of my TV and it's horrendously blurry, but this is the best I can do.



p.s. Yes, I am wearing a wrist brace so I can play DA2...  *obsessed*

I was trying to rectify this with the time period, albeit fantasy, that Hawke and company is supposed to be living in. Could you really clean leather after a blood bath or did they just throw in a sprig of lavender and call it done?

I wonder if Hawke bathed him before their "special" moment... hmmmm ponders naked Fenris in bathtub.

Nuttin wrong with a lil' dirty smex!  Wut....just me??  Wine?

As for baths with a nekkid Fenris....all for it!  *Raises hand as if doing a Horseshack impression.*

Yes!!!  I worked tirelessly!!  I would not rest until I found armor that made him equal parts adorable and hot!!

And I sure hope he has taken a few baths in those seven years. xD As for the blood stains... blood is always difficult to remove, even from fabric. I guess he can't get everything out. But maybe he makes a new pants for himself after a while?

Once those two got started, there was no stopping it. Fenris would probably have gotten cold feet before he reached the bedroom when he had to clean himself up first. Fenris and his doubts --> brooding in the bath tub --> bye Hawke! Not a good idea. 
@ moto: why could they not make a break through the living room and up the stairs to Hawke's bedroom? Of course there would be a lot of kissing and touching on the way, but eventually they'd make it, haha. But I agree they should have shown more. The other love scenes all seem to be longer than Fenris'. We only get to see a kiss for a few seconds, and an ass grab.How they made it to the bedroom would have been nice to see. According to Hawke in the new Legacy fixed banter, she/he is accusing Varric of telling people information of a personal nature. He told Hawke that she/he need look closer to home. So...... hehehehe maybe they did do it right there in the foyer while Bodahn and Sandal were manning their posts. Scarrrrrrrrryyyyyyy.

Oh and Moto! I saw you taking up for our beloved pointy-eared one. Why is it always a guy picking on him? Jealousy??

Well, I wanted to make it more obvious but then it didn't seem like Fenris. I had been thinking about something like:

Obscure question: Do you think Hawke brought Fenris food and essentials while he lived in the old mansion or do you think Fenris took a cut of the profits and bought his own things? Sometimes I wonder if he just stole everything he needed, which probably wasn't much. Hmmmmm thinking of soap and baths again.

Depending on how you play your hawke it could be an obvious both. I mean sure he would use money to buy food but I get the feeling he might buy the real essentials to sate his hungry and skip out on the luxury food thats packed full of nutrition....or it could be alot of cold easy to make food if the rats or mold havent gotten to it.

I don't see him stealing, to be honest.  Fenris, my head at least, has a strange kind of honor about him.  He kills when he needs to kill; he will steal to survive.  But if he has money, he will buy his food.  

I don't see him accepting food from Hawke all that much; he's terribly proud.  I do see him meeting his friends at the Hanged Man and letting them pay for him, though!

I think Fenris takes care of himself, and that includes buying food. We know he does mercenary work when he is not with Hawke, so he makes some coin on his own. I agree with moto that I don't see him roaming Hightown to pickpocket nobles.
