Awhile back, dragonageconfessions on tumblr posted someone's confession where they said that while Cullen and Fenris had similar (somewhat negative) views on mages, Fenris would get away with them because he was an companion. Your thoughts?

Nah, Fenris gets away with his anti-magic views because he was enslaved and abused by a mage.  Cullen has only one bad experience to fall back on.

Since some are doing intros and I've just become a Fenris tread lurker as well I shall introduce myself as well. ^^

I'm Okami1975. Been using the name Okami way before the video games came out, lol. And 1975 for the year I was born (to quote Monty Python "I'm 37, I'm not old!"). I live in Alaska, am a mother of three and an artist. Despite my age I am perpetually 15 and find myself daydreaming most of the time, lol. Lastly but not leastly Jesus Christ is my Lord and saviour.

I have had my copy of DA2 since it was released but just in the last couple weeks have finally loaded and played it. I didn't wait so long because I don't care for the games, it's actually because they influence me so much! I was so enamored by the first DA that it took this long for me to think I was prepared to get sucked in again. I hadn't read any reviews or visited any forums like this before I started so everything was fresh and new to me. When I met Anders I was, "Oh yeah! Ex-warden but at least a warden. He's mine!" When Fenris stepped in at first I thought he was interesting but was kind of like "Eww.. why is he living in this dump. Can't you at least pick up and throw out the dead bodies, Fenris?" I wanted to not like him because I wanted to try to romance Anders. But as the storys went along I began to get tired of the constant Anders rebuffing and became more and more fascinated with Fenris despite his brash mannorisms. I think it was after saving the slave girl from the mage that I finally flirted with him and it was all uphill from there. So far my favorite line regarding our relationship is the one from Hawke's uncle, "So, you're into elves? It takes all kinds I guess.."

Haha, I've totally done that too. Not yet with Fenris (but probably will now!) but I've got a screenie of my Grey Warden where I got it to look like she's leaning on Alistair with her head resting on his shoulder.

Aveline came to mind in this scenario. Oh please, if it was a Carver type warrior in mind for Hawke I would never have suggested the idea. That's like asking a rabbit to take it easy. I don't see Aveline as a woman who had sex before marriage. So I was thinking a virtuous warrior type Hawke.

The reason I thought mage Hawke would be a virgin, was because, the family does not want to draw attention.  Say, Hawke had a lover and they found out he/she was a mage and reported it. It isn't just Hawke's life at stake, it is the whole family's. Bethany, came across as a virgin and a  very sheltered person. I just don't think a mage Hawke would risk it.

Maybe Anders kept getting caught because he kept having sex everytime he escaped.

HAHAHA Yeah I'm a total mod nerd now  I can't resist.  I swear to god I change their outfits every time I load up the game.  Currently, I can't find anything that looks good on Isabela.  It's too bad you can't mod actual outfits on the xbox; you can only switch em around.

Okay *tries not to laugh* About Fenris' TINY TINY A-S-S *rofl* Actually, I don't think it's any smaller than a woman's, or a small woman's, at least.  And ladies can do anal, too.  So, yeah, don't think it's a problem.  And how do we know Hawke is even all that well hung?  Maybe he's a less-than-average size guy.  Okay, all my Hawke's are giving me the EVIL EYE right now.  What, guys?! I get that, but how would that lover find out? I mean, except when the electricity thing is actually true. xD I don't see why Hawke could not have a sexual relationship without getting pinpointed as a mage.
Bethany is a virgin though. You learn that from het banter with Isabela. But she's only 18 years old, so it's not that odd she is still a virging, even if she would not have been a mage.

I had a huge group shot drawing on my desktop for the longest time. I think I took it off around Thanksgiving or Christmas, because I had my laptop at a family dinner, and my three-year-old cousin wanted to see what I was up to, and saw it. Her reaction "he's touching her boobies :o"

Is this the line you meant DAOJust:

I've never let Danarius take him or watched the video of it. Strangley, it goes against what moral priniciples I do have. I found the dialogue on the wiki.

Affection and love, those two words are interconnected yet different. I noticed Danarius said affection and not love, because, imo, Fenris would have to be an equal for Danarius to consider it love. From what I saw in the game, I think Danarius sees Fenris almost childlike and incapable of grasping the simplest of meanings. He's a pet, a thing, a toy, a magister's plaything. He's anything but an equal.

Whatever affection Danarius believed Fenris had for him, I feel, would never have been genuine, or, at least, it was not born out of a free thinking mind. Like Fenris said, all he could think about was his master's wishes and what the next hour would bring. Danarius saw what he wanted and got what he wanted from an abused and conditioned mind.

David Gaider hinted that their relationship was "intimate" *ahem* not in the good way I inferred.

Well that's my thoughts.... on to find something to annoy everyone and hopefully make them blush

Oh I forgot. I wanted to suggest something... try to play the quest Alone (where you battle Danarius) with just Fenris and Hawke if you can manage it. To me it felt more intimate without the other companions there gawking.

Why didn't Varric notice Danarius was renting the room next to his in the Hanges Man?
