I haven't experienced attacks or hurtful responses directed at me here (except from aldien; she says I'm evil:crying: haha, jk). Perhaps I'm just lucky. I think it is often a case of misunderstanding and things getting lost in translation, because the only way of communicating is with text, and emoticons to soften things. Things written in text can seem a lot more harsh than when it would have been said in person. I can only suggest to try to shrug it off and forget about it, although I understand very well that is not easy when such things get to you. I have had it happen on another site. Just remember they are really not worth your tears.

Thanks guys n' gals! I really do love drawing Fenris and sharing him with you.

Aldien- I do use color sometimes, lol. But it would take longer to finish so I'm keeping the daily sketches to just pencil. I barely finished that one last night before bed. >.< Hopefully I can get the one I'm working on today done, but dang, I haven't played with Fenris.. err I mean DA2 since Saturday and it's calling me again.

Hehehe Moto that's funny and I am probably going to get told off (but what's new?) I really don't like Anders at all. I did notice a surge in his popularity after the convention with the voice actors. But, honestly, I don't associate the VA's with characters. Yeah, they have the same voices, but I seriously doubt Gideon Emery has a clue what being an ex slave to an evil magister feels like. I do appreciate that he is a very talented VA above everything.

So, for me, there is Fenris and there is Anders. When it comes to the two, as far as giving me the warm and fuzzies, the occasional migraine, a laugh and complex character depth, you can't beat Fenris.

Yeah, I've never been able to get into Anders either. Can't care much for him, despite my efforts. And I have the same, aldien. The man behind the character's voice doesn't hold my interest that much. I'm not going to hang posters of Gideon Emery above my bed, although that man sure has a very sexy voice.

Who knows why certain characters appeal to us?  I'm with you on not obsessing over VA's; in the anime community, people obsess over seiyuu, and I just don't get it.  Not that I mind; to each her own xD  Stalk away, ladies! xD

Between Anders and Fenris, well, to be honest, I love both characters equally, but Hawke x Fenris became my OTP.  That relationship dynamic just appeals to me more.  But I've done two Anders x Hawke playthroughs and I have a feeling I'm going to do another one soon; just been feeling the urge.

Let me help you out, dear 

If you are looking at your tags, then the source will be the person who posted it.  That person may be the artist or may not be.  Usually she will say if she is the artist.  If she isn't, she will likely give a source.  

Looking at tags:



If you don't know what tags are, don't worry about it.

If you are on your dashboard (main site page - with you being logged into your account), then you should look for the little words "source" in the bottom left hand corner.  This will be the person who originally posted that account.  Again, the original poster is not always the artist.  Sometimes a blogger or reblogger will actually provide a link to the source.  This is also in the bottom left hand corner:

One thing that gets to me is when people, who love Anders, tell me about the difference between him in DAO and DA2. I understand there was a drastic change and it wasn't popular. But... what annoys me is that it is then used to say Anders wasn't so bad in DA2. Anders would never say some of those things he said, yet there is absolutely no leniancy, in many cases, when it comes to Fenris.

I've heard people say: Fenris is whiney, broody, moany, emo (I hate that damn word. It's right up there with the way Moto feels about the word epic) and many y ending words. Truth is, by Act III the elf is quite lovely and funny and he chuckles! Anders moans as much as Fenris does, and personally I think he makes it worse by automatically assuming Fenris would or should side with mages. Damn, have some compassion! The guy has had the whole mage thing shoved down his throat his entire life, quite literally and figuratively. Ahhhhh screw Anders. I don't like him.

Gideon Emery does have a sexy voice and he's a handsome man, but I don't find myself attracted to him and I never think of him as Fenris. I love Fenris for Fenris, and though I would miss the voice if it wasn't Gideon Emery's, I would still love Fenris. <3<3<3

There's a lot of Fenris love going on here. I've had wine, can you tell?

Thanks for the info moto, but I guess I should have explained the problem. I didn't find the picture on tumblr, but on the DA kink meme. Tried to use the link to the tumblr (which funnily enough it works on my phone, but not on my laptop) post, and couldn't get the normal posts like you took screenshots of. (don't know if this is making any sense....ha!) I actually can view and copy the picture, but can't seem to find a way to link the artist. Oh, and I don't have an account (if it's needed) to the DA kmeme, so I can't find a way of asking the original poster........

Again, thanks for the info; it's not that big of a deal. I thought there would have been a search option on tumblr; thought I saw one before, but I can't find it. I have never really spent serious time on tumblr. Another funny thing is, I think I remember someone posting the pic I have been trying to post, about 5-6 months ago................

So here's a question: does anyone know what happens if you choose "I don't need you" when Fenris comes to visit Hawke after Leandra dies? I don't have the heart to pick this, but I'm curious. Does he comfort Hawke anyways? Does it end the romance? Does anyone know if there is a YouTube video?

Thank you! Oh man I wish I had seen this first. I just went and loaded up an old save game and tried this out for science (sorry, Fenris). Yeah, totally disappointing results. But at least now I'm not curious anymore. I don't think it breaks the romance, but I didn't wait around to find out.
